Mama Sue, could you do this recipe with a different cake mix and frosting flavor… for example a lemon cake mix with lemon frosting??

I have that recipe. I call it Ruby’s cake because a lady named Ruby gave it to me. I never use a mixer -just beat by hand and it never fails. Great recipe.
