The outer circle is a thing of beauty, I can't imagine not seeing that circle dot. :)
No one really talks about the 3-1 its actually great. I have multiple astigmatisms and its super crisp also another thing i noticed shooting with it is when i use white light only in the dark it does not disappear or fade out like my red dots which is huge because practically speaking i won't be running nods in the truck if something where to happen at random and dont have to adjust the dot brightness its just there great video.
Was the traditional ring tough on your astigmatism? It’s awful with mine. I’m dying to try this single dot version
I have the XPS2-1 I love it I used red dot only since I was young I can’t run anything than a single dot.
I found it interesting the battery life is still stated the same when I figured this would at least double the battery life compared to a standard EXPS 3-0

Good review. I personally love the exps3 series as well and have them on my serious guns. This is the first time I’ve heard the explanation of why eotech has a “dot only” version.

Guess I would love a video this Eotech vs an aimpoint.
I have a question that might sound stupid but do you need a night vision goggle to see through the visor when the night vision is on ? Because i want to purchase a IR laser, and i was wondering if you could see it through the visor without having to wear night vision glasses. Thank you in advance for the ones that will enlighten me
Interesting. But I have three T2s on various rifles and four donut Eotechs on other rifles (all with magnifiers and elevated). In addition, I have other fighting rifles which include two Hueys, three ACOGs, and six LPVOs. I prefer the Eotech over the Huey but if we are talking about a dot…for myself it’s Aimpoint all day, every day, and twice on Sunday.
The T2 is a phenomenal optic and we still use it. However, it drastically reduces light transmission for passive shooting through night vision.
Hey Brandon, I’m glad you brought up the fact, that Any brand of weapon sight can be bad. I bought 2 Sig Romeo 5’s thinking I could use them on whatever I choose to take to the range. But, I waited several months after buying them, to actually use them. And here’s where I got into trouble, I couldn’t zero these dots @ 25 yards,at all? Switching from my AR, AK & mp5. I had the range master come to help me using sand bags, but they were still way off center mass, where normally I’d be punching every round in a 2” group. Do you think I could have 2 BAD, brand new red dots ? If so, what would you suggest to return them as defective? Thanks brother Brandon. Matty

I believe it. I have tried 3 different Romeo 4xt pro optics and all 3 had a canted 65moa ring and bullet holds. Never runs Sig optics in my opinion.
Just crank the adjustment the direction you need impacts to go
Its a great optic but it has a refresh rate issue when the brightness is to low and you do fast transition. You can watch the dot comet trail across.
Was wondering why no one reviews this one. Only EOtech I’ve ever been interested in. I have pretty good eyes, but I always preferred just a dot for sight picture.

I bought it from a pawnshop brand new put it on layaway. Those bastards lied to me.
