    I like some of the design but more explanation on the led light and the gas strut would have been helpful.🤔

    This isn't to knock not breathing fumes or taking the extra time and money to have a fume extractor, knkw I don't know if people are just built different, I mean of course everybody is different, I'm referring to my father-in-law, he's been welding sense he was 19 years old and he's 78 now and has never used a fume extractor, you can imagine back in the day they didn't have these kind of things but facts are still he's been welding industrially for 59 years without a fume extractor, the change or differences in people today compared to the older generation, is they aren't pursues, they didn't what they had to do, and the effects didn't seem to happen to them like everybody today thays bold up in a corner and propaganda information is mostly used to make money amd to scare people into submission, especially in today's corrupt world and the weakness of the people world wide mentally is unprecedented, we have all the luxuries and Comforts and amenities ever in history and people are weaker than they've ever been in I would say history, but maybe that's the reason why because we have all these things and all these luxuries and everybody thinks they're their own God when they're just me waiting to die and go back to the dirt I think it's just made us all week and including myself you know I'm just being honest, it just seems the better things are the worst people are the harder things are the better people are, that's just the facts of what I've seen and endured for 53 years of my life seen the change in the new generation me being a young person at one time I mean it's like people think old people never were teenagers and they were little kids or babies or anything like that they were born old people well they won't or we won't we went through life and grew up just like everybody else did made the mistakes and all that stuff the biggest thing that I just find today is that we are so careful acting like we're going to keep people from dying and the fact that the matter is we were born to die, there's no way you're going to get away from it I'm not saying you should take extra rest I'm not saying jump off a building I'm just saying, we seem to be want to wrap them bubble wrap like we're going to live forever and like one or many I guess you could say people have said there is being alive and then there is living, of course everybody wants to live a long life but not everybody lives just because they're alive so I think the world's lost a lot of that especially the younger generation

    also be wary of how hot your working around that flex ducting.
    im a glassblower; and have heard many stories of folks using flex duct and it catching fire; and the oil based plastic acts as its on accelerant; couple all of with oxy/acetylene flame and your gonna have a wild night

    Great work on the build, your solution for duct already saved me trouble of making same mistake as I was also going to get that aluminium rigid one. Just one question what kind of gas spring is that so it holds position?

    • @iljanster
      @iljanster  Рік тому +1

      Thank you! Yea the aluminium duct definitely doesn’t work for a setup like this. Its just the strongest gas spring I could find in the local hardware store.. I think the nut and bolt 🔩 in that “elbow” holds it more then that gas spring

      @@iljanster Thank you. Is this flow enough for you? I am currently ordering a fan similar to yours and am deciding between 1,100 and 1,800 m3/h. Probably 1,100 would be enough, but I don't know how the shape and length of a tube (approx. 4m) affects the suction power. The fan (tube) diameter is 250mm.
