Idolising corrupts lives. That makes sense. It’s biblical. The Decalogue commands in the second commandment that we don’t make images or likeness to anything and bow to them. The issue I have with what this man is saying is that we can guilty of breaking the second commandment regardless of Christ’s ethnicity.

@@GRLATV an image and an image to bow to are both images. Why are we playing with semantics? The point I’m making is an African image of Christ is just as dangerous (and sinful) as an European image. Neither are permitted or meaningful. When it comes to our salvation and victory over sin, what is meaningful is that Christ came, lived a sinless life, shed his blood and died, and was raised again. Let’s spread the gospel.
But it didn't just say an image there are plenty of images in the Bible, the issue was not the image but the intent thereof. The Hebrew language the text itself was written in is made up of pictographic characters which are all IMAGES of things in nature.

GRLA has a great voice and he is more humble in nature than any Black Israelite that I have ever seen. However, I agree with the gentleman he was speaking with in that, it doesn’t matter what color or race Jesus was. His actions are what counts and whether we believe in His actions is what counts. The Black Israelite movement is nothing more than a reaction to oppression. I don’t understand why anyone would want to be the Israelites. They failed and failed and failed at the calling that God put on them. They continue to fail in that calling today. As a result God banished them from the land He gave them multiple times and eventually in His mercy, allowed them to return even though they continue to fail at their calling. They are reviled and persecuted across the world. Why would you sign up to be that???? SMH.
