    Nice finish out there Kevin. That's the 3rd 25 pounder in the last two weeks. A message to everyone reading, if you like and enjoy events like these, join your local fish clubs. Memberships are down across the boards all over Ontario. If fish clubs start closing doors events like this, hatchery programs all over, kids fishing derbies, stream rehab projects and much much more will disappear. Without volunteers and members none of this would be possible.

      I'm glad you mentioned that! You are 100% correct. This is why I compete in the Collingwood slam. Proceeds help out the Fishery. They are always looming for volunteers as well!

      Thanks, buddy. Appreciate your helpful tips the last couple of weeks. Eapecially the water temps down different depths. I still haven't decided on my next temp probe since my fishhawk probe died again!

    I didn't wanna scale the fish in risk of hitting a gill or causing a bleed. Fish that size we instantly put on ice and leave it. We want every bit of weight to stay with the fish.

    Congrats on a great catch. If you ever choose to invest in panoptics, make sure you know the difference between the PS30 and the PS 31. I've had the PS 31 for five years and I can see all my downrigger and lures and both Dipsys if there's less than 150 feet a line out. You can't do that with a PS 30 that is so very popular on Lake Ontario. We have about nine of us in the Milwaukee area using the PS 31. It is a real hoot calling which rigger is going to take the next bite as well as a dipsy. you might consider editing out some of the F bombs so I can show your work to my grandkids.

    11:26 throwing butts in the lake ? Hopefully that was a joint 😮

    • @FoxFishing4K
      @FoxFishing4K  2 місяці тому +3

      Oh no was a butt thrown in the lake? I need to have a small ash tray for the boat. The filters are made of fiberglass and will not dissolve. Didn't even notice while out there, I was so focused on catching fish.

      I actually had a good idea. Bring a cooker so I can use my livewell to keep the laketrout alive. That way, we could release without killing when we upgrade!

    Hey There , nice catch. Can I ask what Transducer you are using with that Raymarine ?
    I'm guessing that's the Axiom 12" Pro RV ?
    I have the Axiom 9 RV and have been using the RV-100 transducer , but Im not getting the side scan as good as what you appear to be getting.
    So im wondering if you are using the 200 series or which one ?
    Thank You 🙏. !!

      Lots are in the rivers now. Check the local tributaries. Thornbury has a huge run as well as Nottawasaga in Wasaga Beach.

    If you want to have a fishing channel, many would watch with young people and the swearing is just not on. Also as a fisherman, throwing cig butts in the water, no excuse for that?
