Great video. I would have been lost without it as I have just moved and can't look at my service manual that's on DVD. But you made the chain far tighter than I ever would.
Waking up to a new Mike’s Machines video on Sat morning 👍 (NZ Lockdown). I’ve got a MKIII LM - doing a bit of maintenance and referencing your MK5 videos constantly. One of my favorite motorcycle UA-cam channels - Cheers Mike.
Thanks for your videos, it's helped immensely in doing my own servicing. I have my eccentric adjusters opposite to you , with most of the shell over the top of the axle, is this correct do you think, the bike handles well in corners .
Since the factory recalls were done back in 2008 it's run flawlessly ever since apart from minor stuff. I don't use mine around town much (it hates sitting in traffic) so it's mostly country miles. It loves good roads and fuel. The later maps did improve the fuel consumption somewhat but it's still terrible. I get around 8.3l per 100km now.
@@MikesMachines I`cant drive mine either on traffic, and that`s the reason it`s completely unusable for me. And the maps were so bad it never ever ran right. It is a flawed machine if ever there was one.

Thanks so much for the video - so appreciative of your Benelli 1130 content, very hard to come by. I have a 1130 CR myself :-)

I doubt it will make any difference for the road.
Danke Mike weiter so.Sehr gut Erklärt. Grüße aus Würzburg Germany .
Gern geschehen!
Come posso sapere se la ruota è stata montata diritta?
Ci sono dei riferimenti come nelle altre moto?
I due perni bloccano l'asse agli eccentrici di regolazione e rimangono allineati tra loro.
Sehr gut , war hilfreich 👍
How has the bike been after all these years? Still running? Just asking cos i have an Tornado Tre 1130.
