I feel title is just a name before/after your name. For me gaining experience, skills knowledge , pay is so important in order to survive.. As long as the work you do is satisfied is more enough than title..
Well said! Titles are secondary compared to the value of experience, skills, and personal growth. As long as you’re learning, earning, and feeling fulfilled in your work, you’re already winning. Keep that mindset-it’s a strong foundation for success! 🙌
Cloud computing is rapidly evolving, and the future looks promising with trends like multi-cloud strategies, where businesses use multiple cloud providers for flexibility and reliability. Serverless computing is gaining traction, enabling developers to focus on code without worrying about infrastructure. Edge computing is also on the rise, processing data closer to its source for faster and more efficient solutions. Additionally, AI and machine learning integration with cloud services and sustainable cloud practices for reducing environmental impact are key trends. Staying updated on these can help you leverage the immense potential of cloud computing!
Bonds in IT companies are often used to ensure commitment, especially when companies invest in training employees. While it’s understandable from a company’s perspective, it’s essential to evaluate it based on your situation. If the bond offers valuable learning experience and growth opportunities, it might be worth considering. However, always read the terms carefully and assess whether they align with your career goals before committing.
Relying solely on others' success can be limiting. It's great to learn and draw inspiration from others, but real growth comes from taking responsibility for your own journey. Use others' success as motivation, but combine it with your effort, consistency, and vision to create your own path. Success is most rewarding when it’s self-earned!
Thank you! Absolutely, titles can sometimes distract from what truly matters-skills, growth, and meaningful work. Staying focused on substance over labels is the key! 🙌
Hello Mr. Sidd I would like to know your POV in my situation. I'm working in an automotive industry for 2 years in Canada and this is my first professional job after my MEng program from a Canadian university. I have a colleague with whom I work together for a particular client and she has 14 yrs of experience in the same role and almost little over 2x as my age. The thing is that I'm working as equal as her (sometimes above and beyond), performing all the tasks with best possible ways and getting recognized for my work from both the client and manager. The bottomline is I'm not getting paid as I supposed to be. What should I do??
It’s commendable that you’re excelling in your role and earning recognition. To address your pay concerns, start by researching industry standards for your position and experience in Canada using platforms like Glassdoor. Document your achievements and instances where you’ve gone above and beyond. Then, schedule a professional discussion with your manager to present your case. If your contributions aren’t valued as expected, explore opportunities elsewhere that align with your skills and performance. Advocating for yourself is key-wishing you the best!
