- Still beloved nearly four decades after it's original release, Dolly Parton's "Light of A Clear Blue Morning" shines as a tribute to overcoming adversity and the indomitable human spirit. Performed by the Singing Sergeants, may this special arrangement serve as a reminder that even in the most challenging times, better days lay ahead. In the words of Dolly, "everything's gonna be alright."

Truly Inspirational. My heartfelt thanks to all.
Have to admit I absolutely fell in love with SMSgt Wellington when she was the lead singer 2.5 yrs ago at the National Cathedral performing One Voice with the rest of the Singing Sergeants and the USAF Band. Her voice is that of an angel. Congrats from this retired LtCol on your promotion. Wishing you continued success.
Thanks so much for your kind words sir! She's the best.

Awesome job! I love the acoustics coming from the bridge. As a retired AF bandsmàn I don't often comment, but this was special. Thank you for your service and your voices.
Thank you so much!
Can't even find the words to describe how much I love this. Thank you for posting on your channel - makes it easier to share with some friends who are somewhat social-media adverse (no Facebook, no Twitter, old school).
Thank you so much! Share away!
Come on! Take us to CHURCH! Hallelujah!
Oh my GOODNESS! It is Christmas, and as I sit in balmy Edmonton Alberta Canada at -32 Celsius, I find your video while reviewing this Dolly song that is sooo relevant to the challenging 2021 I'm getting ready to leave behind! Your sound would provoke angels to jealousy. It's rare that anyone can evoke as much soul out of a Dolly composition as Dolly Parton herself, but I'm pretty sure you folks NAILED IT! Thank You SO MUCH for helping me buck up once again and push forward to better days. I keep this one on "loop" in the settings function in the lower right corner. It's like a spiritual therapy treatment, and I didn't know how much I needed you!
Now, somebody PLEASE tell me the curious location where this was performed--AMAZING acoustics, though I don't think the concrete structure was originally intended for this purpose? Truly inspired! I imagine that as you sing, in the heavenly atmosphere, legions of heavenly angels put the chase on bands of petty, marauding demons that were tormenting this world with fear and threats of doom. Not only can I SEE the light, I consciously choose to REST in the Light. Love and harmony ARE also valid and effective tools of war; they make us too slippery for the devil and his minions to keep hold of us.
We, the People, need to understand our responsibility to create the peace we want. It is not just the business of our military to do this for us; that is for if and when all our best efforts fail. Where Light shows up, ALL darkness MUST retreat! WOW; I didn't think this deeply in the Dolly version(DON'T TELL HER! HA!) Might have something to do with the poignant moment when SMSgt Wellington is singing on the dock and a jet ascends in the distant sky above her..."Everything's gonna be alright; it's gonna be OK." Amen and AMEN!
May God Bless ALL of you, and Everything you love, and keep you in the centre of His Perfect Will for your lives, wherever you go, whatever your pursuits. I plead Psalm 91 and the Blood of Jesus over you. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Then I said to you .Do not be terrified,do not be afraid of them, the Lord your God ,who is going before you ,will fight for you 🕊💌
bro I got to sing this arrangement for TAG music this year and it goes sooo hard omg
I recently came across your Playlist and am in awe! SMSgt. Wellington, well done! If you ever decide to record a CD, I'd be the first to buy it. Amazing voice.
Thanks so much!
Nicely done. We sometimes play military videos like these on our government access channel to prevent COVID-burnout. It helps to have positive messaging while we're sharing Army public affairs messages about getting a vaccine.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! We are thankful that we can provide that for you.
Love this song but I grew up a huge Dolly Parton fan. This is a very different arrangement than what I remember from the "Straight Talk" movie, but this is also the same woman who is lead soloist in "One Voice" that I just love. If you haven't seen that yet check it out!
Absolutely. Senior Master Sgt. Emily Wellington is supremely talented and we are lucky to have her here!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
