Stay tuned!
I can listen to song again and again without getting bored because of the tremendous craftmenship put into this song by Swans.
soul soothing for these times of war
i can't wait to hear the studio version of this if it's going to be on the next album. it's the closest a swans song has brought me to tears.
same here
best song on new album, IMO (only hearing it for first time live last night, and I bought the 3xLP!)
My favorite from Glowing man
that whistle, those bells. The harbingers of the apocalypse are here
My new favourite band.
Mine as well. I found out about them as they released The Seer.
this was an amazing piece or music. thx for the beauty of Swans!
"this was" ?...........This is.

Westberg makes that telecaster look so cool. Not that it doesn't already, but man
Heaviest liveband in the world...
I was on that concert. They are.
SUNN O)))) might be louder?
No. SUNN O)))) is nothing compared to Swans
really? Swans must be loud on a new illegal level thenn
@@bobsbigboy_ it's the pitch. Sunn O))) is loud, but it's all lower register. It doesn't demand of your physical being quite the same way Kristof Hahn's yowling, screaming lap steel does. And that's coupled with the rib cage rattling bass that Swans also bring.
Man I was hoping that when they blew the gym whistle, they were gonna drop a sick-ass beat
the unthinkable in thought the immemorial in memory
yup
ella la profunda
Awesome recording! Thanks for the hard work!
seeing gira getting just a little frustrated at me on stage like that would terrify me
well said SHODAN
Now I become Death, destroyer of worlds
"Ave, you unknowable, you uncomprehensible presence"
- Sucker, Jesus Feeler
I thought of a good name for a genre for swans: Mantra rock
Spot-on for this particular song, but Swans tend to try a lot of different genres too
Great
sacred
Keith Richards looks great. His vocals are smellable
Crucial
tough guys. I wonder how often they were beaten for that kind of music playing in pubs and clubs
In the 80's they attracted crowds of skinheads and metal kids. It got pretty intense in there.
otherworldy
He he Gira knows
what about?
@@ryanegger4425 knowing
@@arnoburtner380 what about?!
So is the drummer deaf?
yeah yeah he's deaf
he's blind and mute too and has bad breath and drinks to much and eats fried duck and sleeps in

Godspeed You! Black Emperor
The comparison might seem good but both bands differ so much from one another sonically
I'd say GY!BE is more emotional and the build-ups and crescendos are better crafted but Swans has a better soundscape to bring to the table
