    I have looped around the handlebars in the past, this works fine. I had my SR50 on a trailer for over 2 hours or more and it did not budge an inch. I also used the grab bar but I wrapped it with microfiber for extra safety

    Probably a good idea to secure the ramp to the hitch of the truck to make sure it doesn't come loose on the way up.

      Haven’t had a problem yet but that’s a good point.

    Tried to get my GTV into my Brother's truck bed.. too heavy to push up the ramp, high bed, Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Had to leave the scooter home... looked forward to riding it where I was going. so sad. Maybe a versihauler is a better idea.

      Definitely easier to load when it's lower!

      As long as your receiver can handle a tongue weight of 500lbs it will fit. Gonna be bumping right up against that capacity though with the weight of the scooter and the carrier.

    Matt - did you grow a ponnytail during Covid and not tell your friends? Oh never use canyon dancers with a proper Lambretta, you'll just break your headset. Oh and pull your pantz

    Where can I find a ramp like that? I have a ramp for my ruckus but I need a longer one like this to make loading and unloading easier.

      This particular ramp came from an ambulance supply store. Look for medical supply shops.

    Can I ask what size of Canyon Dancer strap you used? I’m looking for these for a LX 150

    • @VespaPortland
      @VespaPortland  3 роки тому

      We use the "original" Canyon Dancer which is their standard size. It fits bars up to 28 inches wide.

    How to load a Vespa when you are loading a buddy?

    • @VespaPortland
      @VespaPortland  3 роки тому +7

      Many people see a scooter and call it a Vespa even when it’s not. Like asking for a Kleenex when you really are looking for a tissue. 🤷‍♂️

    What kind of ramp is that?

    • @VespaPortland
      @VespaPortland  3 роки тому

      It’s from an ambulance supply place. Can’t remember the name or brand of the ramp at this point. If it was on the ramp it has long since worn off.

    Why are you wearing a mask?

    • @VespaPortland
      @VespaPortland  2 роки тому

      Our state still has a mask mandate and at this point we’re all so used to wearing them that we forget to take them off outside. Also it feels nice on the face when the outside temperature is chilly.

    • @EMVelez-qb1zu
