AngeTheGreat is a badass at these types of things because his first official creation was Engine Sim and now he has Steam Engine Sim.
I never knew that it had a ,,devil mode” that’s how I would call this mode

As an engine enthusiast I’m definitely getting this game
my record is ~4200 rpm. And the best part is it could go indefinitely because the water was always open

@@NoNameAtAll2 put it in demon mode, add some water and max fire. Gater some pressure and when ready let it in the engine getting some speed. When only a little water remains fully shut off the engine valve and wait for the last little bit to boil. Wait until you have 100+ pressure then fully open the water input. It won't flow because of too high pressure. Wait for max temp then slowly open the valve to the engine (it should already be going quite fast from earlier) to about 40% open. Then pressure will drop but when it reaches 100 water will be added. The water will instantly boil providing pressure. Then slowly open the engine valve to around 54% or 55%. Then wait until it reaches max speed. If you open the engine valve or reduce pressure too much in any way the temp will also drop so water can not instantly boil meaning water pools and rapidly decreases temp creating a vacuum which stops the engine.

I reached 850 rpm, and what you have to do is to build up much pressure (of course) and then only open the valve slightly, save your steam and only open it fully all the way in the end.

to get max rpm, use 68 to 70 percent throttle
@@TalksWithNoise yes, slowly add throttle, I reached up to 3950 rpm
I got up to 4687.3 rpm, with 60% throttle, just enough water getting in the tank to keep 50-60 psi at 150°C. You can press the "?" button on the bottom left corner to see the parameters more clearly. And lower the quality of the simulation to it's minimum by pressing "N" and scrolling down.
I can sustain 3650 with a constant flow of water, max throttle, and max fire. I kept it just barely overflowing
If you turn in the water valve so the water doesnt run out and the air is continuously pressurised by the water and its should go faster ,im wondering why it didnt purge?
You can disable the pressure blow off valve (i think demon mode automaticaly does that). The water input pressure maxes out at 100psi so you can't just add more all the time.
What I mean is the pressure will stay at 100 because you supplying a never ending chain of water
@@nerfgodbigguy1405 the issue is that 100psi isn't really enough to go really fast. yes it will go forever but the force it has will not reach the peak.

i remember i got (in the normal mode, not the devil type of thing) i got it to go CRAZY it went to red line immediatly, but i dont remember how sadly,

Bro so talkwthnoise here’s a secret no one knows you know light runner press freeroam and the pressinclude auluxury debug content and press glow city and then go to photo mode and then you can choose anything like in photo mode bloom treshold blur etc it will work in your game try it out

I would like to see steam engine 2. I want to see a duplex engine with a tube boiler.
4300 is easily achievable (i did it by fiddling). However, closing the throttle off somewhat seems to be the key to getting that high...which is odd.
Rockets have a nozzle for the same reason; a little high energy exhaust is more efficient than a lot of low energy exhaust.
Now u need to make your own!

Before I didn't have Steam when I was like 14 someone told me to get Steam and download some games on it, I downloaded this Steam and I was like, wtf is all this hype about? haha the memories this video gave me

Well it is not optimiert for the graphics card, at the beginning i could let it run and play minecraft with shader, no Performance issue but after about 10-12 hours i went back Otto my PC and i had 14 fps in minecraft without shader so there is one Performance issue
Literally *the* best game. Period.
Shorten the stroke, I think that would definitely increase the rpm output
