Great match. I saw rasputin live at Bridlington in 1984. he was fighting marty jones and jones won hooray. After repeatedly telling marty to pull rasputins wig off. Rasputin told me to shut my mouth!.rasputin liked to get the audience going and I think he was the best at doing it. his real name was johnny Howard and apparently outside the ring he was a really nice man. Very sadly he passed away in 2013. You are a legend johnny and I loved every minute of watching you rest in peace sir goodnight godbless from michael from Yorkshire and proud of it.
We saw Rasputin at a promotion put on for the annual sports day at a local village. Having experienced delays and near misses in the car in previous years we decided to leave as fast as we could at the end in order to get out of the field quickly. When we were outside the tent we heard a commotion going on inside & my wife decided to take a peep through one of the other entrances. As soon as she did so, out rushed a very disgruntled looking Rasputin missing her by inches.
