Marty Jones v Skull Murphy

A typical tough match between these two. When the belt is presented at the end have a close look - the thing is falling apart!

Remember remember the 5th of November in 1986?
Bearcat Wright v Greg Valentine

It's tournament semi-final time from Skeggy in 1986. Wright was mentioned by Harry Smith (British Bulldog jr) in his recent podcast interview with Sean Mooney.

World Of Sport Wrestlers Part 6
Переглядів 13 тис.6 років тому
It's one of these again. A few more classic era World of Sport wrestlers remembered, including Bobby Ryan, Dave Duran, Johnny Appollon, John WIlkie, Gwyn Davies and literally no others. Apart from Duran's tag partner. So one other. And I've put a few clips of people clapping in like they do on the telly.
Lucky Gordon v Pat Patton (world of sport)
Переглядів 14 тис.6 років тому
There's a bit of comedy at the start of round 5 in this one, as Gordon repeatedly challenges Patton to hit him only to get knocked down, however Patton's missed drop kick straight after this made me laugh more for some reason.
WoS Wrestlers Part 5

Another one of these, with John Kenny, who got a name check on NXT UK last week, Jim Moser, Johnny Kid, Steve Fury Lenny Hurst.
Skull Murphy v Pete Roberts
Переглядів 21 тис.6 років тому
Can Murphy get the Gator on old foe Roberts despite an injured finger? And does Roberts have enough left in the tank following a recent match in Japan with Hulk Hogan? By the way Hogan was filming Rocky 3 at the time, but not the one you remember. This one starred Sylvester Mallone.
John Elijah v Chic Cullen
Переглядів 5 тис.6 років тому
A young Chic Cullen takes on John Elijah. Last one to accidentally fall out of the ring wins. A bit like a battle royal except you are only eliminated if you fall out by accident.
Mel Stuart v Bob Hagan
Переглядів 8 тис.6 років тому
Unlucky Bob Hagan makes his TV debut on the last ever ITV wrestling show, broadcast December 1988. He did appear several times on Reslo later on. The following week they broadcast a retrospective documentary called the final bell, and that was that.
Steve Grey v Ironfist Clive Myers
Переглядів 9 тис.6 років тому
More wrestling nostalgia for those of us old enough to remember this being on TV. Myers seems to be legitimately pissed off by something shouted from the crowd, which halts the match at one point.
Marty Jones v King Kendo (world of sport)
Переглядів 27 тис.6 років тому
King Kendo is accompanied by Dave Finlay who was feuding with Jones at the time. Top notch sound quality for all the tech nerds out there. Let's see you come up with a speaker/amp combination that this doesn't sound shite on.
King Ben v Alan Kilby (world of sport)
Переглядів 13 тис.6 років тому
Broadcast on my birthday in September 1986 but taped the month before at Skeggy. This was a return match.
Keith Hayward v Kurt Heinz

Didn't Magnificent Maurice later become coronal Brody
He did indeed.
The great John Harris as MC
Mike Bennet is just phenomenal!!!
Breaks, the bare knuckle boxer.
all of them were fantastic actors
Who's the referee for this match
Dopo il 1979 non si è saputo più nulla del grande Spiros Airon, a parte la solita storia che è tornato in Grecia. Nessuna fotografia o notizia.
One of the most American catch us catch can style European matches I've seen, Very entertaining.
Highly underrated talent.
Scrubber Daly from Nuneaton, it should be Scrubber Daly from,Much Eaten 😂😂
You forget how powerful he was. Up there as one of the strongest wrestler of all time. Kind of reminded me of an old-fashioned circus strongman .

Incredible power to lift and hold a guy up in the air like thst. Very dominant move.
What a vulgar display of absolute aggression
Love the way boscik dismantled the kid to get the winner
Battle Royal!!!! Not Rumble
i love the difference between european and n. american pro wrestling styles. today is more about flash and high spots instead of the direct wrestling form. im a fan since the mid 1970s. give me the no- nonsense kick ass grappling/catch can fights over jumping up and down clowns any day. watching the olde days of pro wrestling i could watch for hours. thanks for the videos. i wouldve liked to see more of these wrestlers in n. american rings.
the commentater said Kincaid from Barbados...in an interview he once said he didn´t know how to spell the name of the place...let alone come from there.....
I am looking for more information about wrestlers seconds...particularly Alan Kilby´s Jimmy Napper or Nappa or however it is spelt...any info is welcome.
Ted Heath was well known as a hooker from Wigan on a par with Billy Robinson. Nobody screwed around with him in the US.
Two excellent wrestlers always a pleasure to watch.
Say what you want, Daddy was over!
It was unfortunate to see Wayne Bridges turn dirty. Maybe being the world champion went to his head. His tracksuit top certainly suggested he had developed an ego.😁
Phil Johnson is my grandad
Nice one mate.
RIP Brian Goldbelt Maxine
Usual cheat, Breaks.
Jamica George the definition of if you can't beat them try, try, try again!
Andy Blair was a very generous young man who always let his opponent win.
Crusher looks and fights like a pro rassler should. A true alpha who gets off beating up weaker ring wannabes. Woof!
Danny Boy Collin a bit slow
Two well built studly men
Taylor was a stud
Indio Guajaro was a heel who lived here in Germany. He died with 56 cause of a heartattack
Is the REFEREE blind not to see Ryan touched Big Daddy that he refused Big Daddy in the ring???????
Very happy for big Daddy and team 🎉❤👍👍
Wonderful you'll did it boys 😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟💛💛💛
Look at SID MAD MAN.
Nasty Sid and team and also dirty with wrestling, ASS HOLE.
