    I can't wait to try this!!! A few months ago, a restaurant that in the past had given onion chutney w/ purchase of papadom was now charging $2 50 . NO WAY -Im not paying that!!! Now I can make my own, which looks much better than any onion chutney I would get from a restaurant. Thank you Latifs!!!👍🔥

    This isn't something I've come across in Scotland at any BIR I've ever visited.
    Most places up here tend to just do spiced or spicy onions.
    Would this maybe be because alot of the places here tend to be run by punjab is as apposed to the bengali style that you do yourself?
    Gkad to see you're up and running again.
    Id love to visit your place at some point.
    Also, get yourself up here if you can and let us know what you think of the BIR scene in Glasgow

    • @beastvader
      @beastvader 3 роки тому

      85-90% of the 'Indian' restaurants in the UK are actually run by Bengalis. That's why they're usually halal! The remainder are run by Pakistanis and Indians, with the latter typically specialising in vegetarian cuisine

    • @kalodner666
      @kalodner666 4 роки тому +2

      @@vickytoolsy5180 It's states the reason for no salt in the video, also tomato ketchup and puree both have added salt.
      People think all food needs to be salted.
      People will sit at the dinner table , throw salt all over their food before they've even started and without tasting, as a habit.
      Most people won't need to add salt at the dinner table as most manufactured food has enough salt already in it.
      The need to add salt to everything is a complete fallacy!
