Amazing home, I am truly envious of your attention to detail and choice of products.
I just have a question about the theatre.
As it has been stated in other videos that the tech package
in this home has cost 10mil + and the theatre has only ever
been quoted to be a "Dolby Atmos" theatre. Is it safe to assume
this is a full 24.1.10 reference Atmos theatre? with JBL CBT 1000
+ CBT 1000E used for LCR and surrounds as the video states CBT
is in use. Also If this is a reference atmos theatre using a
JBL SDP-75 assuming its the 32 channel version, how are you gaining
the additional channel count required for a reference atmos theatre?
are you using a Trinnov 48ext in conjunction with the SDP-75 as both
are based off the same architecture?

Hi Mike. I just wonder what is the advantage of a cinema screen like that one and for example a Samsung Digital Cinema screen? Is there a significant difference in quality or is there such difference in price? Anyway love the way you integrated everything. Looks really good.

Hello Thomas. I think you are referring to the Samsung MicroLED called the Wall. That tech on this size screen would be $2M+ and it creates a challenge for where to put the speakers. We sell a lot of Eleusis Digital Canvas MicroLED but not in dedicated theaters like this. In fact in this house we have 3 large format MicroLED systems.
For a dedicated theater the perforated screen with front projector is the best solution.
      Thanks for the question.

@@thomasohrnberg3076 Samsung uses the .9mm pitch LED panels. Great led density but very expensive. We find many installs do not require .9mm and can look amazing with 1.25 or even 1.5mm pitch. Eleusis.9mm is same quality and less cost than Samsung. But the 1.25 and 1.5mm is much much cheaper. It’s all about how close you will be to the MicroLED wall. If you are never closer than 10ft there is no reason to have .9mm. Eleusis also has outside corners, flexible, and transparent MicroLED. So many more tools for the custom install. Samsung is all 16:9 format and designed for Video. Eleusis can make walls any shape and size and create unique digital art projects.

You guys did an amazing job with the theater! It feels like an IMAX private theater minus the ceiling to floor 1:85:1 aspect ratio screen which I’m sure you might have built in other homes. I saw a few cool pics of the construction on Facebook and Instagram but it would be lovely if you had a full video of construction clips and pics describing how it came to be, room dimensions, screen size equipment list, soundproofing and acoustics, hvac etc.

    • @centurionlv1930

Thanks for the comment. We purposely kept technical details out of this video. Our end user customers do not want to learn about how to make a Theater room, they just want to know we have it figured out and can deliver which we can. I used to spend time explaining tech and getting awards on rooms. But figured out that was really only helping other AV guys, not my company or my customer. So we stopped focusing on showing how we do our job and just try to show how it turns out. Most buyers that buy luxury cars do not need to know how it was built to appreciate the end results.

Thanks Chris. This are remote temp sensors for the HVAC. I absolutely hate this version of sensor and we didn’t put them in. The HVAC was a commercial installer and didn’t want to mess with clean nice looking sensors. So they put these monster sensors in that look like crap. On top of that they didn’t line them up so they are all out of line with the keypads and touchscreens. A couple places there are two of these and they didn’t even line the two sensors up with each other. Drives me nuts. Haha. I hate to be negative but they should take more pride in their work. That’s one of the challenges with using commercial contractors on high end residential. The systems they install do work amazing though.

    • @centurionlv1930

The actual house is very livable and like many other high end modern homes. Most of the square footage is for entertainment areas. The house portion is easy to customize for the buyer. Many affluent buyers like to buy something that is done and change it to meet their needs. Someone can buy this and in 6 moths have it made the way they want. They save 7 years and a lot of headaches.

    • @centurionlv1930
      @centurionlv1930  2 роки тому +2

I agree that these modern homes can look sterile before they get lived in. This is still a spec home and not completed. Once they get personal touches and art they come to life. This is really two different structures. The living house and the entertainment area. The main house where people would live is nice and inviting, for a modern home. I didn't show much of that area in this video as we were focused on the tech, which is mostly in the Entertainment area. The huge entertainment areas are for just that, entertaining. You can just entertain a lot more people than the normal high end home. Thanks for watching on the comment.
