My theory: humans got lazier and increasingly more dependent on machines after finding dory, and started creating cars that could run out and do errands for them (like picking up people, for example). To make them last longer, they started giving the cars artificial but still biological organs, so they could breathe and eat if no fuel was available. Including brains, which made them able to understand their jobs and do them more easily, and eyes, which made judgement of road conditions a lot better. But, eventually, the cars, in the words of Mr. Incredible, got smart enough to wonder why they had to take orders. They start gaining sentience and (in a way very similar to the toys in toy story) start "waking up" when humans aren't around. When the humans leave the earth, the cars take this as a golden opportunity to form their own version of civilization, and start their calendar when the first cars were built (circa early 1900s, which explains why Stanley founded Radiator Springs in 1909). Also, older cars, like horseless carriages in museums, were given biological organs, too, which is why cars like Stanley and Lizzie existed in the first place. This would explain why the cars had time to remodel cities in a car-like fashion, start new royal families in old monarchies (hence the Car Queen in cars 2), yet stay faithful to some things left by humans, like churches and religions (hence the Car Pope in Cars 2). By the second generation, they have completely forgot about humans, but animals, like birds and crabs, still remain, and old instincts left from when humans were around tell the cars to both respect them and not do anything to hurt them.
Okay, but considering we never actually saw the crabs in the movie, the they might just be car-crabs. Because remember, there's also little mini car-flies in the first movie. So that doesn't really prove that there is non-artificial life.
Trees and plants were mother nature and Earth being Earth. The "car-flies" I believe are called "Beatles" for a joke of them being a bug, and a car that we normally call Beatles or Bugs. The birds from Cars 1 was a Pixar Short either before or after Cars, so I don't feel they should be put into consideration because it was just Pixar laughing at themselves.
The crabs could still be mechanical because birds are tiny airplanes. As someone who noticed so many small things I would think you would have noticed that.
I agree, in the first film cows= tractors and beetles = VW bugs (at the gas station when Lightning takes a drive with Sally.) In Cars II the doves are miniature planes, so it would be logical to assume that in Cars III Cruz's reference to "crabs" would be those of a mechanical nature.
Cars 3 make me cry honestly, in the end it’s a really heartfelt story. My favorite part has got to be when Lighting finds out how proud Doc was of him. ❤️💙
I saw A113 in the door of the manager (can't remember his name)'s office. The pizza planet truck was a contestant in the Demolition Durby. Couldn't find anythihg else my first run
Lazer Watcher Also Mack is disguised as a truck named Jocko Flockos Party Supplies before the demo derby scene. Watch the SuperCarlinBros top 10 things to look for in Cars 3 video, they explain who Jocko Flocko is there.
I remember seeing the pizza planet rocket get tossed in the air when they were doing a pan over the audience facing the race track but I'm not 100% sure. I'd have to see it again
I really enjoyed this video! Great job. I think maybe the Drivers ARE The Cars. This is DARK. Some of the humans DIDNT want to go to space so they uploaded their brains to AI (Cars) They forget all their memories and restart their life as cars. Edit: omg im the top comment
Here's my theory. Something that is interesting about both the Robots and the Toys is that they get their reason for living is humans. Toys want to be played with and Robots want to make humans lives easier. I think Cars just want to be driven. When humans left on the Axiom, they brought a lot of things with them, but they also left behind a ton of stuff (as we clearly see in Wall E). Something they didn't need was cars. Where were they going to use them on the Axiom? This left the Cars hopeless. However, BNL, who were developing AI, had also developed self driving Cars. These Cars continued for sometime to drive around the abandoned planet. However, the need for gas forced them to make workers to make fuel. The Cars built them in the only form they really knew, as cars. So, the BNL Cars built all the other cars. Eventually, their factories made more Cars then they needed to make fuel, so they just let them run (or rather, drive) free. This lead to the creation of the car society. We notice that in cars it is never stated where Cars come from. This is because the idea doesn't matter to cars. They can drive around freely and nothing bothers them. However, this is their downfall. As Jay said, the Cars die in the same way we do, over pollution.
The theory of cars getting their former driver personality doesn't make any sense when you think of the little bugs cars or the tractor cows. Cars being driven by cows or bugs?! That doesn't make any sense for me.
+David2826 how about you actually watch the damn movies, cars is in a alternate world, where humans never existed at all. these videos is proof, that pixar theory mess is pure crap. ua-cam.com/video/5S4-35mPCAA/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/vlGNPLr4yDI/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Y-DoNMV2bFM/v-deo.html
Had a thought. Humans were on the ship for 700 years, but Einstein's theory of relativity would mean the earth would've aged far more than 700, depending on the speeds they were traveling.
I went to a talk from a Pixar animator and someone asked him about the Pixar Theory and he said something like this: "You want to know a secret? It's not true. There was no intention of making it seem like all the stories are connected. But we love reading the theories fans come up with. It shows how much people love our movies."
I have this big question about Cars that I really need to ask so here I go: I was reading the Pixar Theory book and watching some videos that all mention how drivers and owners of cars "poured themselves" into there car, and thus when Cars aventurally takes place, they have the personality of their owner who loved them so much. But then I got thinking. My dad is a car person, he loves his cars and he owns multiple. He also owns multiple personal airplanes. My question is, theoretically, if people like my dad who owns more than one car and even a whole other vechile, were in the Pixar universe, what vechile in Cars would take there place? Would there be multiple cars/planes (presuming that planes work the same way) with the same exact personality and memories as each other? And also, one of my dads plane is co-owned with another guy, and they both fly it an equal amount of times and work on it together, so theoretically, when Cars happens would there be a plane going around with the memories, personality, and age/expierace as two people? Please, anyone who can answer this, please!!!! This has been bugging me for WEEKS!
What if... after the humans returned to Earth in Wall-E they realized they would have to restart and were unable to live as humans. So... as a result used the technology from B&L to have their personalities, and concheness (no clue how to spell) placed inside of cars. After they built their world for cars of course. I'm a fellow theorist and come up with things like this all the time. I have no evidence to back it up. But it's just a thought.
I don't know if they found it yet but when Cruz Ramirez is on the beach and she brings that simulator when it's done warming up it makes the same noise as Wally when he is fully charged
Did you know einstein had a "study" or something like that that said that the faster something moves the faster time is. There was a study where some scientists shot a clock into orbit (aka faster than earth) and the time on the clock in orbit was earlier than earth time. Now what if that's happening in wall-e where the spaceship is only 750ish years but the earth is far older from the robots/cars.
WorldWar3gaming Actually it’s both Catholic and Christian because the cross doesn’t symbolize an idol it symbolizes Jesus dying on it to save our sins or whatever you believe. Not trying to be rude but I’m just trying to reassure you that the cross is a Christian/Catholic thing.
I have a theory that the cars are really like matchbox cars and this is just the imagination of a kid playing with them which is why there is so many plot holes about them
I think Cars is an Alternate Universe inside an alternate universe. Pixar is an alternate universe and Cars is like a big franchise with movies, videogames, toys, band-aids, and alot of other stuff inside of the Pixar universe.
Okay, why do the tractors act like cows? Why are there bug cars and bird planes? Why do the cars have organic parts (tongues, eyes, brains, lips, teeth, and a digestive tract, at the very least)? Why do cars have families, parents, significant others, and children?
The cars are trying to emulate human society as close as possible. They copy our 20th century timeline and attempt to emulate humans (and other animals) that lived during that period. We don't actually see cars eat anything, except fuel, so they might not have an actual digestive tract.
I'm still confused about Cars placement in the Pixar Theory, because if Cars is taking place during Wall-E then wouldn't we see some Wall-E drones cleaning up trash? And the earth should be somewhat polluted if humans had to leave but everything looks so clean and healthy. A better suggestion for the theory is that Cars is a fictional series within the Pixar Universe, which is a theory I heard before by many people. Im just confused.
TheEnderLord actually at the end of the first cars film during the big race, as mcqueen makes his pitstop Wall-E can be seen in a split second shot as he races off. Hops this helps
Kian Henderson-Cowley That was actually a gag Pixar put in Cars and many other of their movies as an April Fools joke, like the Hank video, but thanks anyways.
Yeah, as in cars 2 we see lightning travel all over the world, but no mountains of trash. And axelrod actually survived in a JUNGLE. And in walle, we see the world in a scene when he leaves earth, and it is completely covered in trash
I spotted: A113, Pizza Planet Truck (Todd), Luxo Ball, Jocko Flocko, Mrs. Fritter (who I think is Mrs. Frizzle from "The Magic School Bus", and Lewis, who I think is an Apple product such as an Apple watch. Lewis is basically an undercover Siri. Plus I could name for DAYS all the NASCAR references. Example: Danny Swervez (Daniel Suarez) and Brick Yardley which is a reference to the Brickyard.
David Bowman and during the training one of the cars way to cool down was to remember a city which looks pretty much the same as the city where Coco is going to take place
So nobody sees the fact that if the humans left earth for pollution but you dont see any, anywhere and we went to Tokyo and London in the cars movies and if there was enough pollution to force humans out it obviously would be a crazy amount especially looking at wallie's time. It's a nice theory but to get to the point of wallie's present the world would have to look alot worse during the time leading up to the 700 yr voyage, and if Cars is supposed to be shortly after the humans leave in wallie. Then they left for nothing cause there is no pollution shown to be compared to cataclysmic End Of The World events. And its not
bro........so far your the best theorist ive heard.....like i can keep hearing you talk theories for HOURRRRRSSSS and id be intrigged to learn more...like man....your amazing at theories!!
On April fools you should make a video that could have an obvious answer and just say the obvious answer with 11 minutes of credits. "Where does cars 3 fit in" *Intro* "After Cars 1 and 2, thank you so much for watching I'll see you in a other life brother." *Credits followed by random names from the phone book and a collage of objectively amazing socks.*
Me and my friend were constantly talking during this movie, finding A113 (that one was easy), the pizza planet truck (or at least it's rocket), and at the very begging how it fit into the Pixar theory.
A different car recorded just like the human did. It's the same as the newspaper clippings. I'm not sure about the car animals but irl we have mechanical animals so I don't think it's a big jump for cars to create things. There are alive birds so maybe the other species died out.
What if pixar didn't really plan for all of the movies to line up but then they heard about the pixar theory and they just started making the movies to fallow it
I don't know about you, but i'm pretty sure it would take a long time to build or rebuild buildings to suit the cars and pollute the earth so it either kills all the cars or they somehow stumble across a BnL spaceship that never had a pilot and still would not be able to suit the cars because it was created by humans for humans. Besides, if what you suggest is true, then wouldn't that mean the earth would be way more polluted and therefor the sustainability of earth would be noticeably worse then how the humans left it. either way I still think 700 hundred years is still a stretch considering the industrial revolution started mid 1700 to 1800's. Thank you for reading this comment. (if i got something wrong please tell me because i might have not picked up on something ) -TataNeko
Still not convinced. I thought matpat's theory that they are simply evolved life forms long after bug's life was more convincing, even though it also has many problems
My theory is that cars 1-3 is really one of those stories a child is making up like in the beginning of toy story 3. That explains cars 2, the kid was into spys at the time. In cars three it could be a parent or a grandparent playing with the kid, linking in the older generation(s).
As much as I like Cars, I think that Cars is a split in the timeline or separate from the theory all together. The events of Cars would only happen if Wall-E and Eva were unsuccessful. OR Cars is AFTER Wall-E and maybe even Monster's Inc.
Yes, he states in the video that they have a separate theory about how Cars fits in. They are trying to explain why the Cars have things like tongues which wouldn't really fit if they were just machines with an AI. Also why do they reference years when their vehicle model was active. A calendar reset doesn't work there because , for example, Doc was a 1950's model active in the "Car's era" 1950's. Why would car "evolution" match the human built versions exactly? What went on before the late 1800's? Was it a living buggy world? Supercarlinbrothers proposes that making the living cars more like the Toys better fits these conditions.
DD_Lolliesalot _ Maybe the kid cars represent teenagers that just got their licenses. Since technically you aren't an adult until 18, and most people get their license at 16- their permit at 15
DD_Lolliesalot _ we're taught how to walk when we're children. Baby animals, such as foals and fillies, are taught how to walk within a few hours of birth. This could be the same with the cars. They could be taught how to "drive" or move around within moment of being "birthed". We still need answers on how baby cars are even made? HAHAHA
Mickey Moo well according to this theory, the baby cars just "wake up" with the personalities of their parent car's human counterpart's childs's personality.
I reckon that could be a good enough explanation than any other, however, do the "parent" cars act as if they have just had a newborn? Or is the baby car straight way treated as a physically and mentally developed child? What determines the type of car to be the child? Do they physically grow by size? Or are they already the size that they will be until they die?
Jayc Snayc i though the cars had organs inside of them though??? How would there be room for a driver in the past if the place where said driver would have sat is filled with brain?
Kobi Jenkins going off what these videos have taught me i assumed they had an organic inside because in Jons other video he talks about them having kids and there being a huge brain behind the doors
The treadmill Cruise brings during the beach scene makes the same noise WALL-E does when he fully recharges and there is a BnL sticker at the end of the Cars 3 credits.
If this took place after humans left on the axiom, how does the world look so good. We get a good taste of the Cars' america, Italy, and Japan yet their world seems almost spotless. You would think they would at least relocate the population of humans that were affected by the pollution to the clean areas. Also, i believe the cars are living in the same world as humans but they dont know it. I feel like the cars irl are the same cars we see in the other pixar movies. Because humans emotions are inside of them, they come alive like toys. This could be why lightning mcqueen stayed in doc's shed for 4 months. Sally mightve meant that literally. This could cover the plot hole about lightning strange ability to race so well. His human couldve been practing with another car. I think lightning stayed "awake" during his break because he got worked on during this time by repairmen, which gave him more human emotion. Thats what made lightning develope more complex feelings about doc and his career.
Happy Crocodile i would assume that humans DID NOT leave earth thanks to pollution. Or atleast it was not the main cause. "Oh, earth is a little dirty? Lets sell everyone vacational plans and say earth is way too dirty so we can sell to everyone". So everyone is away, as BnL starts to "Clean", as earth is more and more empty, until cars become alive, after they declare earth "unusable" (a lie to keep people out, spending money). Cars do there thing, and, acting like humans, start doing human things, until they get to the rise of BnL, that does the same thing, until they manage to run out of supplies, and everyone died, unable to evacuate this time, for real. So, BnL (The Ai) lets all the cars die, and activates what humans had planned to do, before cars. But this fails, as that program was intended to sell things, and to make it look like they where actually doing something, to sell vacational plans and clear a little bit. But this was intended for a earth that looked green mostly. Not brown. bringing us to wall-e, that takes place some years after the dawnfall of the Cars era.
Some Good Stuff i did. I am saying the humans left on the axiom because of pollution. Humans wouldnt just leave for no apparent reason. If some major company said "OK so we are all just going to leave earth for a couple of years for no purpose!" there has GOT to be someone who doesnt agree with the plan. You can see the increase of pollution in the pixar timeline suggesting its getting worse and worse until it forces the human race to leave earth. When you think about wall-e's little hut you see a bunch of objects made by humans. If the pollution was caused by cars, why would there be a movie with HUMANS in it? In the car's era, they replaced anything that you would see people in with cars. Also, only plant wall-e found on earth was in a boot. A boot as in on a human foot. Respectfully, im allowed to have my own opinion and disagree with the supercarlinbrothers. The way good theories are made is by viewing all perspectives of an issue and friendly debating about what it could mean.
We dont know how was the global panorama at the time BnL said: Lets clean earth! Actually its possible, that no one complained, as BnL ran the Planet. Probably people went: "Well, air has been smelling quite odd recently and garbage is pilling up sort of as well, so it must be true". So BnL Sold vacational plans to everyone, and everyone left. On the way the planet looks, that is now a plothole for real. I would say that cars founded cities in different places, that looked similar, but where far away, somewhere in the cleaner parts of earth.
Simple. WALL-E units dealt with the excess of trash, that's why it was piled up in gigantic piles at the start of Wall-e. WALL-E units all over the globe moved trash to the human only areas where cars did not live. The problem was as the fuel crisis increased, more cars/AIs died thanks to humans dying/leaving and eventually there were almost none left at the time of the movie Wall-e.
BREEZE I have a theory,a lot of kids drive those little "toy cars" for a few years and when they grow up and get an actual car,the little car in the cars world grows up into a big one because it's the same owner
The Pixar theory couldn’t have ended during monsters inc because in the short Tokyo mater we see mater enter a race but when he tries to drift for a split second you can see mike and sully
If Pixar makes a fourth cars movie, it should be a story-told movie about McQueen when he was in his prime and maybe even a little about the king or the legends from cars 3, maybe that would just be the first part and the rest is about Cruz
I want the first movie to be like that too. But I also want some backstory on Chick Hicks and whether he retired or was fired. Chick doesn't seem like the type of guy to give up easily..
You should do a video about the Easter eggs in cars 3 because I saw a lot. I'm also wondering why there was a Apple logo in the last race. Maybe you could do a video about that. Anyway if you decide to do it then just please put my comment in the video thanks a lot.
So what happens with the machines like guido who are only operated by their human counterparts during work at a certain place, like didn't that human drive their own personal car to work so wouldn't that cause an exact match car to guido and other pit crew machinery. What I'm getting at is obviously tractors aren't operated by cows, so not every machine that is operable takes on the form of a human. I'm confused on how tractors in the future assume themselves as cows and heavy work machines meeting their car twins.
Cars are AIs in the future, of course and they need other robots/AIs to do certain jobs. Cows as tractors are like the beasts of burden on farms (that make organic fuel) run by car farmers. WALL-E units also exist to pick up trash.
I'm confused, in wall-e the majority of the trash that wall-e finds left behind were from humans like bras, forks, the wedding ring, and lighters. If cars came before wall-e and the cars universe was left behind wouldn't there be more car parts instead of human remains?
My fav part was the reveal of "The Fabulous Lightning McQueen". Also, I love cars because I was born the same day the first cars came out so I have a real connection with cars and Pixar in general. You guys are the best at what you do! Never stop making videos!
Hold on so does that mean that the monsters are going to go through a door and see a car at one point. And what about some times where kids don’t sleep in there room. And the point in-between cars and humans. Or would the doors take them to the axiom. And during that in between point wouldn’t the world be destroyed? And wouldn’t areas like London (like we see in cars 2) be destroyed, we see London in the zoom out of the world. And is there a car version of axiom? Also what about the incredibeel? So many questions
This also explains the Mater's Tall Tales series of shorts. Mater is clearly an old car that has been through many owners, so of course he remembers so many strange adventures. "But Lighting is present in every single one!" Honestly, I think that's definitely Mater making things up. At the end of Monster Truck Mater, the super-fan recognises "The Tormentor" but not "Lightning McMean", and Lightning doesn't remember any of it. As for the stories that aren't that plausible (As far as I know, time travel and alien life does not exist in the Pixar Universe), the memories are figments of the previous owners mind.
I think this video did a great job overall fitting Cars 3 in the Pixar theory, but my biggest issue with this explanation is that if Lightning and all the other cars in the movie previously had owners, that means that their doors could open, they had steering wheels, and no eyes. I thought there was a whole video on how cars are actually living organisms with a digestive system, a brain, and tongue? How did they go from mechanical to organic in a few years and grow eyes in their windshields?
Oo Oo! My thoughts is that they imaged tongues and brains. Since the cars would regard anything inside then as like humans, with brains, mouths and even tongues
Question: In Cars 2, the Piston Cup was renamed to the Hudson Hornet Piston Cup. But in Cars 3, it was just the Piston Cup again. Any thoughts as to why this was missed?
It's called the Hudson Hornet piston cup in cars 2 because doc had past away just before cars 2 so they dedicated the cup to him due to his passing. Mater literally says in cars 2 "I can't believe they re-named a piston cup after our very own doc huds"
Couldn't the cars just be upgrades of the chairs the humans used in the axiom, unable for their bodies able to take on the earth they adapt to closed capsules, with a love for nostalgia for old earth they shape their capsules into old earth style cars. trying to protect life found on the earth they build similar capsules for that life add some time and everything is just cars in a human style world. Maybe the cars don't use fuels they take on the exact mixture of things they need to support humans and charge the batteries, call gasoline only because that's what they use to call it on earth.
Idea for a topic/video. The 'Planes' movie series takes place in the same universe of the 'Cars' series. We know this from several things:- • The 'Air Mater Tall Tale' short. • Lightning's picture in a newspaper in Planes 2. • Sarge's picture with Mayday in Planes 2. • The mention of Rust-eze Bumper Ointment in Planes 2. • The fact that almost all advertising for the first Planes movie had the tag line "From Above the World of Cars". Does this mean that Planes 1 & 2 are also part of the 'Pixar Theory' even though they aren't made by Pixar?
What if cars is happining during the human age just they can't see humans and the act as their owners and that's why there are crabs and new cars are getting made??
I think all the Cars are toys and it takes plays in a child's imagination. Like maybe the kid lost Docs car and killed him off and in Cars 3 the kid misunderstands the meaning of moonshine
Sooo... Does that mean that cars would eventually go into space like the humans did and relive Wall-E as cars? Would then other creatures thrive on earth while cars are in space? Plz like so J and Ben can see!
how stupid are people CARS TAKES PLACE IN IT'S OWN REALITY IN THE PIXAR REALM,IT'S NOT THE FUTURE OF HUMANS LEAVING EARTH. in the cars world humans never existed to begin with.
You really can't fit Cars comfortably into the Pixar Theory because they don't seem to be purely mechanical, the world they live in doesn't fit the conditions shown in WALL-E, they follow what appears to be a human timeline (at least mid 20th-early 21st century) including car model years. If anything Cars fits much better into the LEGO Movie scenario. An adult who is a car and racing aficionado is playing with his kids.
Pandam0nium101 .B wall•e and cars are not happening at the same time When Wall•e hits the car alarm all of the car die of because of no oil and stuff so really all of the Previous car owners die off as well
dumbasses cars takes place in a different reality where humans never existed all together it's not before wall-e and it's not after wall-e either,it has no ties to wall-e PERIOD!. almost everything in the cars world is car shaped, the clouds are also shaped like cars.
what if the the whole pixar theory was wrong all along. what if instead of just one massive timeline it tells the existence of various universes. because specially regarding cars people tend to overlook/ignore way too many details as in how do the cars seem to have free will and not just mindlessly retracing Human activities? or how they have actual organs and not just machines.
when i watched this in the theatre i heard cruz say "i didn't want to but the crabbies" and i thought "omg that means theres still life in the cars universe i can't wait to go home and watch how this fits into the pixar theory"
My theory: humans got lazier and increasingly more dependent on machines after finding dory, and started creating cars that could run out and do errands for them (like picking up people, for example). To make them last longer, they started giving the cars artificial but still biological organs, so they could breathe and eat if no fuel was available. When the humans leave the earth, the cars take this as a golden opportunity to form their own version of civilization, and start their calendar when the first cars were built (circa early 1900s, which explains why Stanley founded Radiator Springs in 1909). Cheshire Cat 5732 I love this!
finding dory is set in the early 2000's.
Cheshire Cat 5732 my theory is that Cars actually isn't in the Pixar theory.
Underrated comment
Weird but interesting
You should do an updated full Pixar theory
Simply Crazy yeah
Simply Crazy I went in to the comments to comment that
Actually the guy who made it said that he was going to update it in a big way
Simply Crazy @ A 1AAAQAAAao
Yes it's getting a bit confusing
Okay, but considering we never actually saw the crabs in the movie, the they might just be car-crabs. Because remember, there's also little mini car-flies in the first movie. So that doesn't really prove that there is non-artificial life.
KatieTube W well there are trees and plants
the birds
There was also the crab fishing boat from Cars 2
Trees and plants were mother nature and Earth being Earth.
The "car-flies" I believe are called "Beatles" for a joke of them being a bug, and a car that we normally call Beatles or Bugs.
The birds from Cars 1 was a Pixar Short either before or after Cars, so I don't feel they should be put into consideration because it was just Pixar laughing at themselves.
"The they"
Can you please do a full updated Pixar Theory video?
defenetly
Wait at least another year or beginning of 2018/end of 2017 before doing that, then do aanother updated pixar theory at 2020
They should do one at the end of every year.
Jack Challenge one every other year
I think end of every year would be good
The crabs could still be mechanical because birds are tiny airplanes.
EW B also in the maters tales with the UFO he's gets scared of a bug that's funnily enough a mini flying Volkswagen Beetle
EW B I have the same Goku figure :P
Cars 3 make me cry honestly, in the end it’s a really heartfelt story. My favorite part has got to be when Lighting finds out how proud Doc was of him. ❤️💙
I saw A113 in the door of the manager (can't remember his name)'s office. The pizza planet truck was a contestant in the Demolition Durby. Couldn't find anythihg else my first run
Also on the training you could spot the city where Coco is going to take place. I think they call it Santa something
Lazer Watcher Also Mack is disguised as a truck named Jocko Flockos Party Supplies before the demo derby scene. Watch the SuperCarlinBros top 10 things to look for in Cars 3 video, they explain who Jocko Flocko is there.
Lazer Watcher the name is Sterling and you spell durby wong is derby
I remember seeing the pizza planet rocket get tossed in the air when they were doing a pan over the audience facing the race track but I'm not 100% sure. I'd have to see it again
Lazer Watcher I saw the Pixar ball
I really enjoyed this video! Great job. I think maybe the Drivers ARE The Cars. This is DARK. Some of the humans DIDNT want to go to space so they uploaded their brains to AI (Cars) They forget all their memories and restart their life as cars.
Edit: omg im the top comment
Tropic x files music
Tropic Low Key a really good theroy
+KlubsPlays Yeah, becuase maybe in addition to uploading their AI, they put in their vital organs! :D
Klyzm hahaha.
which explains why in Wall.E the humans are so lazy :O
Very nice theory!
The theory of cars getting their former driver personality doesn't make any sense when you think of the little bugs cars or the tractor cows. Cars being driven by cows or bugs?! That doesn't make any sense for me.
I think a better explaination is cars are emulating the human world of the 20th century.
+David2826 how about you actually watch the damn movies, cars is in a alternate world, where humans never existed at all. these videos is proof, that pixar theory mess is pure crap. ua-cam.com/video/5S4-35mPCAA/v-deo.html

@@GhostFan-ev4di animals did exist though did remember dinoco
I agree with you, that bit doesn’t make sense
Had a thought. Humans were on the ship for 700 years, but Einstein's theory of relativity would mean the earth would've aged far more than 700, depending on the speeds they were traveling.
Grant tyler yep you are absolutely right
Grant tyler also... 700 years based on what? because the ship was too far from earth to have the same time measuring
Julian Ciari it says on the movie that they're at year 700 of their 5 year cruise. But more time has passed on earth than that.
Grant tyler i know... that's what im saying
Julian Ciari the captain does the daily announcements from the internal clock, which is different from earth's, because of Einstein relativity.
I went to a talk from a Pixar animator and someone asked him about the Pixar Theory and he said something like this: "You want to know a secret? It's not true. There was no intention of making it seem like all the stories are connected. But we love reading the theories fans come up with. It shows how much people love our movies."
Is it just me, or is there even more new stuff on the couch every week?
Josh Tanner yeah. I noticed that too.
I love it how you explain a theory, but then say it's not clear, *but THEN comeback with more proof!* Just awesome!
I have this big question about Cars that I really need to ask so here I go:
I was reading the Pixar Theory book and watching some videos that all mention how drivers and owners of cars "poured themselves" into there car, and thus when Cars aventurally takes place, they have the personality of their owner who loved them so much.
Yes!! I never thought about that omg good observation!
Lucky
I think they'd have similar yet slightly different personalities, and be like a friend group or something
What if... after the humans returned to Earth in Wall-E they realized they would have to restart and were unable to live as humans. So... as a result used the technology from B&L to have their personalities, and concheness (no clue how to spell) placed inside of cars. After they built their world for cars of course. I'm a fellow theorist and come up with things like this all the time. I have no evidence to back it up. But it's just a thought.
what about crab cars like the beatle bugs
Timm Roberts that what I thought to
Ya I thought the same exact thing
Timm Roberts that's exactly what I said.
You are one of the only theory channels whose theories actually make sense.
I don't know if they found it yet but when Cruz Ramirez is on the beach and she brings that simulator when it's done warming up it makes the same noise as Wally when he is fully charged
*Paul Marquez* That's the sound of the MacBook turning on. Your welcome.
Did you know einstein had a "study" or something like that that said that the faster something moves the faster time is.
There was a study where some scientists shot a clock into orbit (aka faster than earth) and the time on the clock in orbit was earlier than earth time.
Now what if that's happening in wall-e where the spaceship is only 750ish years but the earth is far older from the robots/cars.
that would actually explain alot good theory that would make sense and would explain how the earth looks so good
The theory of relativity yea... the faster something goes the shorter time is for it, so this would make some sense
Dayum,legit as shit!
Jill Hudson Neal That makes sense!!!!!

Why does David from Lilo and Stitch wear Maui's Fish Hook as a necklace? Please look into this, it is driving me crazy!
Alexis Baynard it’s a symbolic tradition. Maybe religious. Just like Christians wear a cross signifying Jesus.
good question
The cross isn't Christian. The second commandment says that Christians aren't supposed to have idols.
Wwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttt
I have a theory that the cars are really like matchbox cars and this is just the imagination of a kid playing with them which is why there is so many plot holes about them
AlphaDragon601 BECKFAST Yea and Jackson Storm could be like a new model
in his imagination like in the lego movie
YOYO 22 except the cars version is actually good LMAO
They're Andy's lost toys
I think Cars is an Alternate Universe inside an alternate universe. Pixar is an alternate universe and Cars is like a big franchise with movies, videogames, toys, band-aids, and alot of other stuff inside of the Pixar universe.
THERE'S NO I THINK,it's common sense that cars takes place in an alternate universe.
That makes so much sense, the most plausible explanation given the lightning mcqueen bandaid. Best theory I've read.
Kian Henderson-Cowley
That was actually a gag Pixar put in Cars and many other of their movies as an April Fools joke, like the Hank video, but thanks anyways.
Can I have a link to the Wall-E in Cars April Fools Day video? I've seen the Hank one.
TheEnderLord ah ok fair enough
Also the short before the movie "LOU" looks like it takes place at Sunnyside daycare.
David Bowman and during the training one of the cars way to cool down was to remember a city which looks pretty much the same as the city where Coco is going to take place
I saw that, I just forgot to type it. I remembered after I went to bed the night after typing this.
And Lewis is actually voiced by F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. Annd Jeff Gordon appears as Jeff Gorvette before the final race i think
The crabs are probably cars, because even the animals are cars (Example : Cows are tractors and in Disney Planes 2, there is tractor raindeers.)
They still refer to the tractors as tractors.
Aksi THR birds are also planes
There are flyes in cars one that are just little blue cars with fly wings
There is also Volkswagen Beatles as flys.

Problem though: We see in Cars 3 a film reel of Doc's crash, so it can't be just him misremembering his driver's crash
but how do you explain the recording of Hudson crashing in 1954?
Another car watching it? All the cars have memories of stuff that happened, so it is a car recording it.
@@TcFW97TCM oh you have aged photo in news where hudson had eyes already.
And its not

I tried to ask that once...
Then how do you explain the video of Doc's big crash? Also, what about the car-ified bugs and tractor-ified cows? And the small cars and planes?
A different car recorded just like the human did. It's the same as the newspaper clippings. I'm not sure about the car animals but irl we have mechanical animals so I don't think it's a big jump for cars to create things. There are alive birds so maybe the other species died out.
What if pixar didn't really plan for all of the movies to line up but then they heard about the pixar theory and they just started making the movies to fallow it
"With the rise of self driving cars seeming to be RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER" hehehehehehe
GUHoyas777 I read that as soon as he said it xD

Still not convinced. I thought matpat's theory that they are simply evolved life forms long after bug's life was more convincing, even though it also has many problems
Gmalatete same
Gmalatete agreed.
My theory is that cars 1-3 is really one of those stories a child is making up like in the beginning of toy story 3. That explains cars 2, the kid was into spys at the time. In cars three it could be a parent or a grandparent playing with the kid, linking in the older generation(s).
"Have you seen cars 3 yet?" I'm just making plans to see finding Dory

Yes!!! I've been wondering about this!!!!
As much as I like Cars, I think that Cars is a split in the timeline or separate from the theory all together. The events of Cars would only happen if Wall-E and Eva were unsuccessful. OR Cars is AFTER Wall-E and maybe even Monster's Inc.
AEMARR Gaming or it takes place in a kids head would fit aswell
Yes, he states in the video that they have a separate theory about how Cars fits in. They are trying to explain why the Cars have things like tongues which wouldn't really fit if they were just machines with an AI. Also why do they reference years when their vehicle model was active.
A calendar reset doesn't work there because , for example, Doc was a 1950's model active in the "Car's era" 1950's. Why would car "evolution" match the human built versions exactly? What went on before the late 1800's? Was it a living buggy world? Supercarlinbrothers proposes that making the living cars more like the Toys better fits these conditions.
AEMARR Gaming
Salvador Luna being born
Watch the cars video by film theorists. Cars is the last in the timeline

What about the kid cars?? Human kids can't drive
Edit: Thank you all for so much support and likes 😊
DD_Lolliesalot _ answer this question somebody
Sadly I have not seen cars 3 yet! But that theory is awesome!
One issue: the biological component of Cars.
Jayc Snayc i though the cars had organs inside of them though??? How would there be room for a driver in the past if the place where said driver would have sat is filled with brain?
Keyz LovesYou I was reading a Cars 3 book at work and it had diagrams and cross sections of the cars. They were mechanical, not biological.
Kobi Jenkins going off what these videos have taught me i assumed they had an organic inside because in Jons other video he talks about them having kids and there being a huge brain behind the doors
Kobi Jenkins so, according to the book, they are fully electromechanical being? No biology to speak of?
Keyz LovesYou well you have to see that a therory doasnt have to be true and some dont fit together.
I think the blinking red light turned green in Radiator Springs. Not sure if it's the same light though
Tiberius Caesar it was a yellow ligth
The treadmill Cruise brings during the beach scene makes the same noise WALL-E does when he fully recharges and there is a BnL sticker at the end of the Cars 3 credits.
Can you do Top 10 pixar scenes?
Happy Crocodile looks like someone didn't watch the entire video. He said the CARS made the Earth more of a mess, not the other way around
How TF do cars give birth to small cars lmao lol
BREEZE
I have a theory,a lot of kids drive those little "toy cars" for a few years and when they grow up and get an actual car,the little car in the cars world grows up into a big one because it's the same owner
They're insects with metal exoskeletons, so they probably hatch from eggs and shed smaller exoskeletons to grow.
Fabio Lacap hey I know that theory, it's from MatPat.😁😁
No, I think it's just new AIs put in new cars.

I think Cruz's paint job in the closing scene kinda sucks
Chick is clearly a really old car at this point, he's like a classic NASCAR car, no chance he could compete with modern supercars
You should do a video about the Easter eggs in cars 3 because I saw a lot. I'm also wondering why there was a Apple logo in the last race. Maybe you could do a video about that. Anyway if you decide to do it then just please put my comment in the video thanks a lot.
the farm from good dinosaur is seen
There are some intros that I can't stand and your intro is...
...not one of them! good job
I love this channel!!!😁😍
They could have time move faster, like one day for us two days for them, then 1950s with there own time, give or take the half a day thing,it could work.
Also the Lightning bandage has eyes, kinda saying it's a movie.
So many questions
that hair though😂😂
Where did you get your shirt? 👀👀👀
This also explains the Mater's Tall Tales series of shorts. Mater is clearly an old car that has been through many owners, so of course he remembers so many strange adventures.
"But Lighting is present in every single one!"
Honestly, I think that's definitely Mater making things up.

I don't mind ads
I don't mind buffer

Doesn't explain the working tongues they have.
he made a video called pixar theory:are cars alive and im pretty sure he talks about why they have tounges
Samplaysgames101 But one of the people who worked on Cars comfirmed that if you open the cars door you will see the brain
Oo Oo! My thoughts is that they imaged tongues and brains. Since the cars would regard anything inside then as like humans, with brains, mouths and even tongues
Yes, the cars are emulating humans which includes faces and tongues.
I spotted the very obvious A113 on Stirling's door, and the Pizza Planet rocket at the derby.
They didn't even try to hide the Easter Eggs in this one.
but aren't the cars biological? meaning not machine?
I love the lighting and the colours of the set in these videos. it's really nice on the eyes 😂
Maybe the cars don't use fuels they take on the exact mixture of things they need to support humans and charge the batteries, call gasoline only because that's what they use to call it on earth.
why are there car flies?
They're toys.
drones
Idea for a topic/video.
The 'Planes' movie series takes place in the same universe of the 'Cars' series. We know this from several things:-
• The 'Air Mater Tall Tale' short.
I LOVED CARS 3 (it was my favorite or the franchise)
What if cars is happining during the human age just they can't see humans and the act as their owners and that's why there are crabs and new cars are getting made??
I think all the Cars are toys and it takes plays in a child's imagination. Like maybe the kid lost Docs car and killed him off and in Cars 3 the kid misunderstands the meaning of moonshine

Sooo... Does that mean that cars would eventually go into space like the humans did and relive Wall-E as cars? Would then other creatures thrive on earth while cars are in space? Plz like so J and Ben can see!
Well I guess so!!! Good job good job👏👏👏
how stupid are people
CARS TAKES PLACE IN IT'S OWN REALITY IN THE PIXAR REALM,IT'S NOT THE FUTURE OF HUMANS LEAVING EARTH.
in the cars world humans never existed to begin with.
This actually clears up a lot of plot holes in the 'Cars' part of the Pixar Theory! Thanks J!
But how about those super tiny fly cars. To small to have a drived, and i also don't think anyone has a personallity of a fly
what about the child cars that would be too small to fit a human
Banana Pancakes Gaming and the bug cars
You really can't fit Cars comfortably into the Pixar Theory because they don't seem to be purely mechanical, the world they live in doesn't fit the conditions shown in WALL-E, they follow what appears to be a human timeline (at least mid 20th-early 21st century) including car model years.
If anything Cars fits much better into the LEGO Movie scenario. An adult who is a car and racing aficionado is playing with his kids.
yeah I agree Carl
I noticed Jocko Flocko, Clawtooth Mountain, the Sleepwell Motel, A113, Pizza Planet Truck, a backdrop from Coco, and a Cars 2 badge in the credits.
Who else watched this with their eyes?
AKitchenSink TØP Wow fren, i did too!
AKitchenSink TØP salutations fren. How did you know that I actually have eyes?!?!!!! STALKER
AKitchenSink TØP nah. I watched with my glasses
AKitchenSink TØP I did, fren
I watched this with my nose.
what about that Toy Story theory tho..
The one that caught my eye the most was when they were on the beach. The trainer turned on her simulator? It was the same start up noise in Wall-E.
The wall-e happening at the same time as cars theory makes no sense
Pandam0nium101 .B since humans come back to earth only after 700 in Wall-E yeah it's weird
Pandam0nium101 .B and in Cars the earth is fine like it is now in Wall-E it's one massive dump
Kinda late squad where you at?
when i watched this in the theatre i heard cruz say "i didn't want to but the crabbies" and i thought "omg that means theres still life in the cars universe i can't wait to go home and watch how this fits into the pixar theory"
Watch MatPat's theory on Cars.
