I'm not gonna lie, Kage's update actually made him even more playable in a tournament setting. having the additional block strings and neutral buffs instantly bumped him up another tier. I can't wait to watch Daigo do more labs on him and apply it in his ranks
Capcom planned this- we make sure Daigo will be using a shoto in this final update one way or another. Ryu and/or Kage. He has no choice. Lol we don't care if he still uses guile, Honda, or Luke. Ume-shoto is back!
The advantage that H-Hadouken has as a Corner Pressure tool is that it has a faster recovery since the active frame is used point blank unlike a traveling fireball. And now they've buffed its range and allowed Kage to move forward with it as well. The Horror... 😅
@TheBf666 you completely missed the point. Years ago you would watch a tourney and see all kinds of characters in SF. Now you just see the same 6 tier whore characters. If they dont make more tourney viable, watching high level becomes a chore to watch, especially with a game with combos as bland as they are.

I believe it's when your combo it's blocked but cannot be interrupted
A couple of moves that force you to defend
