I drove through Donner’s Pass in January while in training with snow and almost needed a diaper 🫣 it’s definitely an experience! Loved the video sis 🫶🏾💕
that road is messed up- they need to repave it. I've driven down Donner's Pass during the summer time a few times and I was still losing traction a little bit. There is no excuse for that interstate to be in that bad of condition. No other state lets their interstate get that bad- not even Wyoming.
Actually, I find these videos on Trucking very informative! So, if there’s people out there looking to get into the industry, they should be soaking up this knowledge! Not being judgmental of people who are recording while Trucking! Yes, you want the Drivers to practice safety, but as verbalized in this video, you still can record and exercise safety at the same time.
I have just started watching your channel and you are handling business. I admire you!! BTW.. These folks don’t have a problem with you driving trucks. They have a problem with your two sources of income.
I willing to wager that one of your fellow Prime Inc drivers reported you. Jealousy and envy are real out there. Don't be mad becaise someone else is up on their game and you're just steering wheel holding. Get that money wherever you (legally) can. They don't want you having more than them. That's why I stay stealth. My father told me from the time I could listen. Never tell anyone what you have, because the minute you do, is when haters try to their best to make you lose it. I am a retired nurse and I realise that our worlds are so far apart that it is amazing to me that you are so good at your job and obviously try your best to be correct with everything you do in the difficult world of trucking. To have the intelligence and drive to accomplish what is a very stressful job reminds me of what good people are made of. Onward and upward. I’m watching.❤

For the fact that more than half the people in the comments is trying to get hired with prime and the other half is curious about joining them based on yo content and videos you put out they need to be thanking you tbh keep on Trucking slime
I enjoy watching young female content creators that share your experiences as drivers and I just found and subscribed to your channel. I have generations of family members from North Carolina who have driven over the road as careers for years. I appreciate that you cleared it with your company as far as their policy while recording and driving. Just as a precaution you should probably also consider checking state driving laws as well. I love watching young ladies channels that have chosen interesting career paths. Be safe on the road!!! 💙💜💙💜
Because that camera is recording without her interaction but her recording is different come on people. Dangerous whether in a car or truck.. was probably told about this have to follow the rules point blank.
Well really shes using their (prime) equipment for monetization & not giving them any $$. The secondary issue is all the uploading & editing that may interfere with her time in the bunk. Leading into safety. Making videos may have her "mentally somewhere else" when she's driving. The company (safety) dept does have to worry about that. Sterile cockpit/sterile truck environment free of distractions is what the dot/ntsb wants. Personally i like her lil chocolate self & would devour her🤩.
@DHigable Thats true. But some of us didnt inherit the proper down pmt on a truck, have other obligations, etc. Theres more to it than just "getting your own truck".
That’s no fair that title really kind of scared me. I’m wishing you all the luck in the world and hoping that I do is good when I come. So I’m really hoping that it is as good a company as they say they are in their safety meetings, because family don’t treat you like that.
Wow, i'm impressed young lady, first time watching. This is really interesting to watch to see how truckers live and operate on the road. I have so many questions to ask, but I'll ask a couple, how did you get started trucking and was it something you were always interested in? How old are you?, and at what age did you start? How long are you on the road at a time before you go home? Is the money good trucking or does it depend on the company you work for? Have you ever been harassed or treated nasty because you are a woman or do they respect you on the road? Keep up the content interesting to watch.
I've been watching your videos for a little while. In my opinion, you are doing really well, and I think you will do well in this industry and you will be an asset to the women in trucking, and the big brains at Prime should appreciate you.
My very first load at Prime was Feb. 29th (leap year) 2003. I got the Million Mile leather jacket, and a plaque, and a diamond ring. I love Prime, and I don't take any Prime haters seriously. Any hard times that I ever had at Prime was the results of my own bad decisions, and getting sick with covid. Some people say that we can't love a company because it's just a job, but I have 20 years to be grateful for, and yes I love Prime. I'm grateful for the huge changes in the quality of my life over the past 20 years. I recently went to Salinas, California where I was born, and lived half of my life. I saw my old friends. Their life is so sad now, and I cried for days. My life, and my health is so much better thanks to Prime. My old friends are homeless beggars. I own my home, and so do my kids. We won't be homeless here.
I just started watching your videos today . I have seen several and watching . I think you are awesome, great driver, and good at backing up. Keep doing what you do.Great job, very professional. From a lady in Texas.
My daughter is a truck driver as well and she said the same thing about her miles. So she trying to figure them out, she been driving for 9 months now, my daughter is a solo driver.
Most trucking companies measure miles from area code of start position to area code of finish at the shortest point not dock to dock to determine miles even though you drove way over that some companies have all paid miles but have routing for that load you must follow she should talk to drivers at least 3 from the same company to get a good opinion on the company she chooses to be with long term after 30 years of doing this the best bet I see out here is a government driving job at least after 20 years there's a check coming for the rest of her life with benefits I'm taking federal truck driving job not state or county
And let the haters hate! People are always negative and being hateful! Keep on doing what you’re doing and keep us informed on how the Trucking Biz is! ❤️❤️❤️
Love that he has a good sense of humor bc I be ready to fight lol. U r so right, on social media and broke but leaving comments to someone who is getting her bag

Lil tip when checking the dip stick don't tilt it up cause you'll get a false reading on it. Hold the stick level. Good videos tho. I'm looking into working for prime.
I consider your video's very much pro company employee positive relations work. If people don't feel a connection with other workers for advice support it's not a good work environment. You set a positive example dealing with real life.

10:00 One thing that is cool style-wise that not a lot of trucking channels use is to have 2 cameras: one pointing at you and maybe a GoPro mounted outside or out the windshield with syncd video. A guy named 'IndianaJack' (trucking) used this style in his older videos and honestly it's the absolute best. Enjoy the content 🚚
They are talking about Schneider, Schneider fired some UA-camrs for interacting with the camera when they were driving because, for them, it is distracting driving if you do it

As far as I'm concerned the way you record is safer than a driver having a passenger or two and talking non stop with them. I don't understand some people's logic. My dad was a trucker and I worked at the Flying J in Calgary. I had my favorite regulars, but I got to say, a few thought you were their personal bitchin post. Safe Travels.
Good video. Stay safe my beautiful friend. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲
Most people talk to themselves and hear voices that is okay and 💯 legal...so live cam no issues
Safety is prime slow ass trucks 😂😂😂😂
My company have the same policy but I’m with a new company after tomorrow same policy keep on trucking slim pack 😊
PREACH!!!!
If you recording while driving and it not creating a safety issue, then I can understand their reasoning, but their excuses makes no sense
New subscriber ❤

That TA/Petro is in Nevada. Always a nice spot to relax after driving.
You talking about the one on I15 or the one in Sparks, NV on I80?
@@yakzivz1104 It's the Petro in Wells, NV off the 80. It has an Iron Skillet and a casino called The Alamo. They have a bar there too where you can relax and watch sports.
@@wrbk19 Oh okay I really like that Petro as well
