Yes and no. The yes portion is you should be okay most of the time, however, I have heard and read that some users had issues in a torrential downpour. There are three things on this bike that can get water inside if it's significant rain. The first one, is at the bottom where there is a magnetic sensor. One user reported on the forums for e-bikes for this specific model, that the water leaked inside had disabled the sensor. The second portion is where the battery connects, be careful if there's a lot of water it can seep through and cause the battery to get wet. Finally, the display on the left hand side should be waterproof, however, if a lot of water gets around it and especially sits there for a while. It can also get inside. Think of it as a cell phone, most cell phones are supposedly waterproof, however, we all know what happens in reality especially after prolonged exposure. I would personally be careful when I come back home. I would put a fan to blow on the bike to get all the excess water out. I do this anyway with non e-bikes.
5:37 packaging from the axil? some unexpected looking stuff. i barely get a look at it. I need to remove things that look like it might be important to the bike? could have served a better video if this packaging could be identified on screen and this is only one ebike model. my ebike is Mendocino
Schwinn... you guys are CRAZY for asking these prices for your ebikes. $1499+ for a 250watt motor and a small battery? The Walmart build quality is nothing special either! These shouldn't be over $850. Very overpriced compared to other ebikes. Ride1Up has their (Core 5, $1095) and (500 Series, $1400) both have 750watts and have free shipping also look amazing. You're being outdone by many other brands for basically half the cost. Something isn't adding up.
@@Mike-me4df Schwinn is a great brand if you are shopping at wallmart but its not a Trek... I chose Shwinn for my ebike of choice but its a bit begrudgingly from the data it can be the perfect bike for someone.
Perfect, I got mine assembled in the parking lot. The box as a workplace is genius!
Thank u for this video ! It definitely helped me from having a mental break down.
How do you turn the headlight on?
Usually just hold the pas level up a few seconds, same to turn off.
@@EBikes420 thanks, I figured that one out about a few hours after when I read the manufacturer manual online.
is it waterproof? can you ride it in the rain or in the snow?
Yes

Dicks Sporting Goodsis selling the $1799 Marshall for $799. Amazon has it for $1399.
@@PeterLeahy2014 Thanks Peter I gotta look right now. Their pricing is insane.
I found if you cheap out on an e-bike, you usually get less quality parts, more likely to break down.
i need to get one of theses to see how crappy it really is
Why is it crappy?
