It's funny how just music from strategical map screen of JA2 make me feel better. Like finding secret spot in my soul. And that music was... promising, encouraging you to move forward, explore without hurry, and telling there is a good adventure is ahead )
"JA2 was supposed to be released in 1998, but was delayed until 1999 due to numerous bugs" Oh man, those were the days! When games weren't released buggy as hell because devs couldn't just patch them at a later date.
JA2 was buggy on Release and the Devs released many patches afterwards. THEN, after Sir-Tech dies, the Comnunity patched the game. Of course "back in the day" there where extremly buggy games on release.
@@ramireza6904 The latest official JA2 patches have made the game extremely stable. Complete game many times, did not catch any significant bugs. There was only a 1 important unfixed bug with ~1 minute wait cursor after trying to take a weapon from a stunned enemy. But this bug was fixed only in 2010s. I started playing with the German beta 1999, there were a lot of bugs, but the game was can be complete.
You are so right. Remember 99 percent of all games on disk had next to zero bugs. Also, people's expectation of a finished product was much higher back then. Now, with ALPHA titles, people get what they deserve. I Haven't seen a successful launch of a blockbuster game in the last decade. Ignore this douche @ramireza6904 trying to argue with you. He needs to learn English grammar first.
@@nordwand13 Ikr. I don't get why people disliked this opus. The gameplay is unique : real time with pause, never seen any other games nailed that gameplay as good as JABIA.
@@territorygameofficial Exactly, imagine the same game but without lags or bugs and better mechanic and graphism... The dream... No games like that in the market at this moment.
Now at release, it's mostly people whining about it being "Xcom like" Main principle of AP is still prevalent, combat phases are similar, real time until spotted (Which is quite similar to JA2 1.13, there is a setting to allow stealth approach to remain in real time until enemy spots you) They also added coop feature of you and friend sharing squad members and playing as them
Negatively from trolls is easy to dismiss. Those who didn't enjoy / got burned by BiA, Flashback at least I understand. Those who complain non-stop about JA3 not being exactly JA2 or it being an XCOM clone need to seriously chill out.
So funny to see JA1 and JA2 are much better games in all aspects than all the spin-offs that came after. Yet again they try to make a 'JA3' which has no soul at all.

Just the sounds of the Sir-Tech logo loading brings happy feelings.
JA3 is actually good, i've been playing it for 3 times already
to be told, it feels more like wasteland 3 than xcom

@@ramireza6904 Because the game was huge, thats why it was buggy.

Great summary of what was hapening with series! Good Job !
thank you sir! :)
1.13 and Stracciatella are two different things. Great video.
Well. You are actually right! A small mistake by me!
Thx for telling.
JA2 the GOAT
no doubt
JABIA THE REAL CHALLENGER
JA 2 1.13 is the best game.
-the GOAT-
ua-cam.com/video/dETd2rCOBoM/v-deo.html That sound!! It takes me back 24 years!!
only bulgarian game studio can come up with the idea to revive ja 2023. this game was huge here.
we need a sequel to jagged alliance BACK IN ACTION
U are the first I hear saying that.

Yep I loved it as well despite it's flaws!

Brainless Industry cannot create anything near it.
Love hired guns
Something so cool about a team of middle-aged ex sas, ex Green beret, ex spetnaz getting together to f shit up... for a fee
Jagged 2 back in action is amazing best of series
a few days to release...cant wait
But my favorite is JA: Crossfire. I hope ja3 be more like door kicker game, but no they're still square box turn base game.
1:58 Yeah but after that, you forget two importants addition to Deadly Games: *the Multiplayer Mode & the Scenario Editor*
JA3 is awesome, can't wait for it to drop in the summer
No its not. It's a failure already. They lack the voices, characters, UI, storyline and graphics that made JA1 and JA2.
@@TJCombo-sn7mi what voices do they lack? Pretty certain all the mercs will be voiced on release.
have you played it?
@@TJCombo-sn7mi Expecting the graphics to be the same as a game that came out over 20 years ago is pretty insane dog.
Teil 2 war der beste
It’s odd how many people are dissing a game that hasn’t even released yet… then again I never grew up with the original two games so who knows

Should be able to download to view offline.
Unfortunetely only with UA-cam Premium. U can just download it with a YT-Downloader. Quick google search helps.
@@nordwand13 -U- * YOU
Is it a problem just take ja2 as it is and just make graphics much better and put new stories, that would be all
I think the same!
@@nordwand13 i think a lot of people would like the same
Actually, just improve the UI.
for example...
AMEN. Not yet another wannabe remake with shitty 3D models like this new 'JA3'.
So funny to see JA1 and JA2 are much better games in all aspects than all the spin-offs that came after. Yet again they try to make a 'JA3' which has no soul at all.
JA1 was shit. You're high.
lets see first...all i read and saw until now is good...i preordered
I'm playing JA3 right now, It's not as good as JA2 but it's nice
3D means new experience (for me worse). JA3 should be in isometric view like in JA Onlline/Commandos.
