The Tower of the Swallow, published as The Tower of Swallows in the United States is the fourth novel in the Witcher Saga written by Polish fantasy writer Andrzej Sapkowski, first published in Poland in 1997
Vysogota, an elderly philosopher living alone in the Pereplut swamp, comes upon an injured Ciri near his retreat and takes her in, caring for her. During her recovery, Ciri recounts the events of the last few months.
Ciri was content with life among "the Rats", but hears that a "princess" with her name has been presented in Nilfgaard as the intended bride of the Emperor. Ciri decides to reclaim her birthright and expose the Emperor's lie, but hears that the Rats are being tracked by a notorious bounty hunter, Leo Bonhart. She rushes back to them, but finds that Bonhart has slaughtered them.

I mean, call me crazy but I personally think these books could be a great tv show. I wonder if anyone will ever attempt that. 😅
I know its an intended joke but at least we are getting Sirens of the Deep next year, having the voice actor from the games doing it is probably the best decision Netflix could have made. Hopefully they just decided to reboot the show all together and this time do it right but ya never know with these “genius writers”

Peter Kenny is amazing. One of my favorite moments of him is when he voiced the Sylvan, with the bleeting and foul language 😂
@@alexmatos4735I’m going through the books again, and was also blown away by Kenny’s performance as the Sylvan!
I don't think the author intended to make the reader hate Mistle, but yeah. the entire start of their relationship was horrific, manipulative, and toxic to ceri; it ends with ceri saying she loves her too.
If only Mistle continues from rescuer to protector instead of to abuser within five mics. Their relationship could have continued in the background until becoming more.

I’ll love too see how Netflix will pulls off the entire VYSOGOTA parts of the book I say this as missing all of this is probably the most important part of the book or will this all be coved in the rats sin off ? But how could it be a spinoff when it’s actually a part of the book ..
I read the books once a year have done since 2018 back then finding the English paper backs hard this is the first time I have listened to the books just for the pronunciation of names specially, little horse. But come on it’s pronounced dandelion. DAND-E-LION not the way his pronounce
I really really hate the chapter I am listening too right now dam BONHART this guy would make Joffrey from GOT quiver in fear as well as Ramsey, Bolton, even dam Jack Randall or bonnet from outlander would quiver in fear this whorson has taken out 3 dam Witchers
I just wish he cross blades with Geralt he would not last a second against him and if they make him face BONHART in the tv show I’ll go nuts as that’s one of Ciri most iconic moments
