I went with white steel wheels, but your black ones look fine. As far as tires go, I went with two different sets, both from RC4WD. First set is their 1.9 BF Goodrich KM3 tires for scale realism when it's on the shelf (even though they make good trail tires), and their 1.9 Milestar Patagonia tires for everyday trail running.
Black steelies look good. I went with white wagon wheels to match the grill and the white top. Kinda boring but I like how it looks , BFG Krawler T/A which I’m really happy with , painted white letters of course !
Usually folk put the 1800 in the portal axle rigs if it uses low gearing in the portals like the trx4 /6 .some portal rigs use 1:1 gearing so it’s the same as a straight axle rig ,so then folk put the 1200 in them and straight axle rigs .
A guy could always make a bushing to toss on the fusion motor shaft before installing the pinion. I'm lucky and have an archery shop. I cut carbon spacers from arrows for whatever I need. Scrap arrows in all kinds of different diameters
That would be awesome. You're lucky. But likely everything works fine on this. We don't need any machining today. Lol If I had the ability, I would machine something for everything.
Facebook Messenger has an AI symbol at the top now. You can ask it anything. I just asked it to make me EZBOY.RC. Logo, and then I added my own sound effects. And made it bounce in with my editing app. The sound effects is a samurai sword and then a Lightsaber. Lol I had it make a bunch of different ones. I just kept saying try again. And it would sometimes the writing would not even be. EZBOY.RC It would just be some misspelled random stuff. Lol

Same tranny set up in my rochobby 1/6 Jeep.An odd set up I thought and had to hope the gear mesh was right when everything was put back together.I like this motor in my Jeep.
In my old age I’m making fart noises too, mostly unintentional, the FJ is really growing on me now that you have one, I’ve been hinting at FMS to send me a beginner plane to review but no luck yet

I like the foc on for rock crawling but disabled for trailing.

On this truck, you can swap just the ESC with no problem. Put in a hobbywing 1080ESC
the motor and everything else works great with it.
