A retired superior court judge and an ex-race-car driver-turned-car thief.. together, they fight crime in a hot sports car. It’s like THE LONE RANGER & TONTO of the 1980s. I love this.
reading about Brian Keith brought me to tears. It's sometimes hard to separate fact and fiction when it comes to actors. I had no idea that he took his own life in the late 90s after poor health, financial problems and the suicide of his daughter too. He brought me so much joy as a child of the 80s and to only read about it now 25 years later is terrible. REST IN PEACE, BRIAN ♥
Hardcastle and McCormick from the Producer of The Greatest American Hero, The A-Team, Riptide and HUNTER I like Drive a whole lot better than Back to Back, Drive got ya PUMPED UP and FIREDUP for the action and excitement
I Just in the Last Year while I was having only over The Air Tv never Knew anything about Hard castle and McCormick. I love the show. I so wish I had the Complete Series on Blue Ray And DvD.
I remember an opening theme version that had a glimpse of Brian Keith's silver '84 Hurst Olds?? That was a hot car back then- fits the Judge's character as an executive Hot Rod- Anyone else remember that??
I had it in my head the theme to H&M was " Believe or not I'm walking on air" but, that was the theme to a show I totally forgot which was "Great American Hero". I'm slipping 🙃
The judge Hardcastle also had a '64 Corvette convertible 2:22 they used, probably easier for Brian Keith to get in and out of, that they jumped one time 6:23. The landing you could see fiberglass breaking, pieces flying off, and they never jumped it again. 2:58 they show breaking through the garage. I don't really remember ever seeing it again after that. The early '80s was all about flying cars through the air, jumping other cars, and such, after Smokey and the Bandit. Thus The Dukes of Hazzard, Hardcastle & McCormick, Knight Rider, and others. Cars were cheap, and often reduced to junk.
The 1st version in this compilation doesn't really exist (not that I ever saw,& I think I've seen every version that exists) - It's an edit. Always *L❤️VED* this version of the End Theme of "Back To Back"❗ Mike Post was a damn genius‼️
In the first season, you could tell Brian Keith was really having a hard time getting in and out of the original coyote. That's why its design was changed.
Need to see hardcastle is retired judge & x race car driver Mark McCormick McCormick has been replaced it together there after 200 cases were walked out of hardcastle on technicalities nice video 🛣️😍😁🤩🥰⛽
I was disapointed back when they changed the car and the theme, but looking at it a little later realized that the "back to back" song and intro really fit the show better. I suppose the double punch of new Coyote and new theme song at once played into the original dislike. The show started off as a car chase show but all along was a "father and son" story that grew with time as Milt lost his son in war and Mark had an absentee dad. So the two of them helped each other fill a void.
Sie ist einer meiner Lieblingsserie. Die beiden passen einfach wie pech und Schwefel zusammen. Und die Musik ist wie die Kirche auf der Torte. Einfach hammer die Musik. Die 80 er serien sind für mich die besten .

The A-Team and Hardcastle and McCormick had the same guy did the narration
Think there missing putting it on DVD!
I miss this show a true classic.this was back in the day when tv shows were real good.

Loved him in westerns
😢😢😢😢😢😢
This show never had enough time to get boring, still one of my favs!
It did well on Sundays, but midway through the second season it was moved to Monday night. It was just downhill from there.
Cool theme song + cool car + car chases and jumps = good show in '80s.
Stefhen j cannel and Mike post are two damn Genius 💘💘
I love both the themes from this show.
Thank you for post! One ☝🏾 of my favorite shows growing up!

I agree

I cant believe this much attention to detail in the music for a tv show 😇😄😉
I love those to songs there amazing
The first Coyote was the McLaren was in the show’s first season, and the second Coyote was the DeLorean version in the show’s second and third season.
And the 2nd version was crap.
Wanna go back to the 80s
So wish they relaxed it to DVD I would pay high dollar to get this show on DVD!!

Joey Scarbury sang vocals on both shows👍🏻
No. The original fast version is way better. Not the slowed down crap.
It was in a way a snapshot from my youth miss some of the simplicity of the 80's
great show original version of the theme was the best
1st Season had the best scripts

I saw that garage on the estate. Only one car could break through it at a time.❤

The description explains the special edit of 'Drive'.
Geiler Sound
Non la fanno piu vedere la seri in tv un vero peccato mitica la Coyote che sound anche se poi in realta era il motore de maggiolone😅
I can't help but wonder if there have been any slot racing sets based on this show.
Why wasn't this considered a crossover for the fast saga? at least have the coyote x in one of the damn movies!
Because this is a high quality show. Not some junky trash movie series.
4:25 Shades of the A Team theme.
Brian Ketih best role was as Milton C. Hardcastle . He was born to play that role.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Holy Shit! McCorrmick is Ricky Bobby
I have never seen this show before, and on looking at this video, the first thought was “Will Ferrell needs to be playing this.”
Except 1000 times better looking!
X EVER THIS PEOPLE MADE HARD.
THKS X EVER AND OTHER...
This song was released as a single. Great instro but the song does nothing for me.
Back to Back is literal GAR-BAGE compared to 'Drive' Its not even debatable.
In the first season, you could tell Brian Keith was really having a hard time getting in and out of the original coyote. That's why its design was changed.
You'd never get end credits sequences that long on TV today...
They're too busy showing beginning of the next tv show while the end credits are playing at high speed.
Back in the day you never heard the end music for the announcer talking over it.
A lot of shows barely have opening credits. They usually go right to the show and show credits during the dialogue.
This one wasn't too good
The original theme was better
But a slower pace of the song
All these years and id still give anything to live at gulls way
not me i just want the car
I was able to visit Gull's Way inside and outside. Beautiful Estate!!!
@sandrabarnwell8017 that must have been amazing I'm jealous
@@deloreanfan81 It was a wonderful experience!

Awesome video

Thanks these songs are great. I sing them for weeks when I go back and watch the series every couple of years. ❤❤
Cool song

❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏
GREAT PRODUCERS X THIS TIMELINE.
ACEPTED NOW AND EVER.
I’AM OLD VERY LONG….
The second season theme was crap. The third season was back to Drive theme.
