www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/al...
The Alpinestars GP Plus R Gloves do a great job of bridging the gap between the upper echelon of racing gloves, and entry-level options. Built with much of the features seen in Alpinestars’ premium offerings, the GP Plus R Gloves provide a ton of value to track day enthusiasts and ardent street riders. From the combination cow and goat leather outer shell to the strategic venting, Dynamic Friction Shield knuckle protectors, and signature ring finger / pinky finger bridge, the Alpinestars GP Plus R Leather Gloves offer long-term durability, comfort, and protection for sportbike riders. - Авто та транспорт
Anthony and your customer service is why I buy from you guys at RevZilla!
Hello Anthony! Nice video like always! Can you tell me which Dainese Gloves are in the same level as the Alpinestars GP Plus R? Thank you!
The Dainese Druid Long D1 Gloves are at the same level as the GP Plus R Gloves, as they feature similar construction and protection. -DrewZilla

hey there Revzilla, I consider buying these gloves, but have a little dilemma. GP Plus R (2017) or GP PRO (2012-2016) ??
Wich is a better glove. I know "the old" GP PRO is higher in the "foodchain", but still, they are older. Thanks for your advice
The old GP Pro Gloves still offer a bit more protection than the "new" GP Plus R Gloves, so if you can still find the old GP Pros, go for them. -DrewZilla
I have a question. I'm about a 9 1/2 circumference around my hand what size would you recommend? I usually fit into a extra large on gloves depending on what they are thank you
I would start with size XL. -DrewZilla

I tried these on at my local store and they have an odd annoying pinch in my right pinky finger when gripping. Does not affect my left hand. Tried a size up from my normal large size but the xl is too big and the medium is too small. I use the dainese carbon d1 long for the street, so I tried on the druids and there was nothing but comfort. Ended up finding a super deal on the older dainese full metal d1s for the same price as these gp pluses. NOTE: the gp pros do not pinch my pinky finger. It's only the gp plus. Hope alpinestars fixes that. I would've liked to match my suit, but dainese wins in comfort.
I bought my GP plus for like 4 months and the first time I wore it I have the same problems I got pain at my pinky but after around 100 km of usage it disappear but my soft wrist protector has peel off completely
Yeah I also had the right pinky pinch 😂 I just slept in them for a night or two and it seemed to sort itself out
Hi, for xsr 900, which one should i choose, gp plus r or gp tech? Thanks
For the XSR, the GP Plus R Gloves are a good choice. -DrewZilla

the gp pro r2 are NOT touch screen
Can you use them at spring or summer?
Summer, yes. Spring, maybe towards the end. These are utilitarian sport gloves, so there's no waterproofing or thermal lining to keep you warm or dry. -Kraus-e
gp plus r or sp1 for riding and one or two track days this year?
I would definitely step up to the GP Plus R Gloves if doing track days. -DrewZilla

great, thanks for the response.
You're welcome! -DrewZilla
how would you compare these to the REV'IT! Stellar 2 and Spitfire?
They slot between those two REV'IT! gloves in terms of protection. -DrewZilla
Does the gp plus R2 have the touch screen finger?
im looking for the same answer too
@@ramsgatehome6943 I ended up buying them and can confirm the index finger works on touch screen
@@MrTerencee with what size did you went? is it true to the sizing chart?
@@AlcatrazMeow yeah true to size, I think I bought the R and the wrist was too tight so I swapped it for the r2 which was a lot better
@@MrTerencee what is your hand measuerment and what size did you end up getting?
Are these gloves too aggressive for your average street rider and very new to riding?
No, they aren't too aggressive. The extra protection is a good thing for any rider, new or experienced. -DrewZilla
RevZilla awesome thanks for the reply.
You're welcome!
Sp8 v2 or this one? (For spring and summer)
If you can afford them, I definitely recommend the GP Plus R Gloves. The SP8 v2 Gloves are good for their price, but the GP Plus R Gloves are even better than their price. They really are a big step up in protection. -DrewZilla

Must Anthony shake his head at intro 😎
For me this a glove I would use as street/track. For this price range that doesn’t have touch tech is a no go for me. Especially when their other gloves on a lower tier and costing less will have touch tech. Very disappointing.
What's touch tech in this context?
Hahahaha, yeah I'm definitely going full boba fett with these
