- Well that was a night I'd rather never repeat again! We were on a micro camper van life trip in Belgium and France, and then disaster struck. Lucky for me I wasn't alone and the 'rescue team' got to work.
I love my micro camper but I think after this trip she needs to be fixed up a little. She's looking pretty bad!

Thanks mate! And yeah I’ve only ever stayed at one campsite because there was no gyms nearby for a shower. But I much prefer stealth camping to be honest!

Usually I film everything but for the hour that the cameras weren’t on. We weren’t feeling all that positive 😂 but wish I’d filmed more now because looking back it was hilarious 😂😂

Ahh, classic stuck in the mud road trip shenanigans... I think I might have tried lowering the tyre pressures and maybe pulling out that bit of wood you backed into (or any branch or the like) to use as a wheel step. Still - good work on getting out and ingenious use of random metal debris!
Also; I've watched a fair few of your videos and only just realised I wasn't subscribed - so I've fixed that!

Yeah we used plenty of branches (small ones unfortunately) but I didn’t want to lower the tyre pressures just because I had no way of pumping them back up again. Definitely going to kit out my next van with a rescue kit though 😂 Thanks mate! Got a lot planned this year!
Amazing content I got a van 🚐 and fitted it out then we got a trailer for the Harley 883 iron and two MTB bikes, trail walking and MTB rides. We got a mini Q BBQ we use out side

Oh it didn’t stay clean 😂 I cut out the clip where I showed the mud on the back of the sleeves 😂 we were about to use the merch to stuff under the tyres before we got out! And Becky’s blanket 😂

Oh that made me laugh haha. Having Becky in company in a vanlife crisis certainly makes things seem not so bad! btw a quick tip you could get are a couple of waffle boards to keep in the van, I did exactly the same in my old van but luckily got out due to having AT tyres and waffle boards...otherwise I'd have been using whatever I could find to get some traction on the tyres. Great vid as always!
Just for the fact they’re called waffle boards I might have to invest! But yeah if I was on my own it would’ve been the worst! Thanks mate!

We got stuck in a Fiat Cinquecento on Fuerteventura beach back in the 90s at around 3am outside two big hotels. Probably just over the San Miguel limit, we had to use beach mats under the wheels to get us off. Oh the good old days.
Things like that seem bad at the time but always gives a good memory haha

I was literally drinking the same double choc mocha at the same time as you, they are ok if you are not a coffee fan as its more like a hot chocolate. Although my fav coffee has to be the purple nescafe (alta rica) tastes like gold blend but with a bit more umph, like a slightly darker version of gold blend.
Glad your france/belgium trip is going good (despite the few misshaps) can't wait to see what you guys get up to next time :)
It’s a nice drink but I think a combination of the strange milk and also the paper cups made it taste different haha. And thanks!

Sounds like you need a ratchet or 12v winch or something in case you get stuck in the 💩💩again.
The UK ( or France, I guess) doesn't often throw sticky situations like that at you but you can guarantee it'll cost you 2 or 3 times the price of self rescue stuff to get recovery.
Yeah I’ve actually had a look at some and I’m adding a rescue kit to my next van!
