Excellent video for us Cali residents. Of course, I don't endorse the Cali law, but like you said, don't want to find yourself in trouble. IMO, featureless seems the best way to go for minimal mods from the original design.
@@Gothic1Actual Thanks brother, I knew we’d catch a little flak for putting it out there, but felt like we owed our CA viewers some options. I’m with you at this point, featureless is a solid solution “for now”. Thanks as always for dropping in to support us, it’s always appreciated.
That’s a good choice. We just had a few issues clearing malfunctions with that set up, which kinda let us back to the featureless route. I guess if you train for it, then it shouldn’t be a problem. 🤙🏼 Also, we do a lot of work out of state, & nothing is better than the Kali Key for returning the AR platform back to its original design quickly. 😉
@@satchboogeyman6509 I know they appreciate any & all love from the 2A community! Sadly, I know of MANY who have given up on CA and moved on to free-er states. I also know that many that feel like it’s such a beautiful place that it’s worth fighting for, and who doesn’t love a good fight! Godspeed to all those “behind enemy lines”. Thanks for supporting our channel, as we try support those who need it most! 🇺🇸
I was moved here as a kid from Oregon back in the early 80’s when I was in grade school. I consider myself a Californian and our kids were born here and we love this state for many reasons but strongly dislike the political climate that is ruining this state
@ Same! I was born “free” on the East Coast, but have found myself living here three different times due to work, so there must be a higher power at work here, lol! It’s a beautiful state, & definitely worth fighting for. 🤙🏼
Professor Blue on the dry erase board... Bummed for y'all that you have to work through so many hoops to enjoy firearms. Though at the same time really happy there are companies that are working as hard, maybe harder, than the anti gun types to keep y'all going. Love the M1a'a and the SOCOM's. Loved getting to shoot the M14's we on our ship. Look forward to seeing more on those slings.
Ha ha, Professor, that’s one I’ve never been called! Having to jump through all those legal hoops does keep range day discussions interesting. Along with the various companies, FPC (Firearms Policy Coalition) does a ton of great work on behalf of the 2A community. Not just in CA, but nation wide! Old M14s will always hold a special place in our hearts, even more so after Blackhawk down introduced them to a whole new generation. Thanks a lot for continuing to check in and add to the conversation. It’s always great to hear from you. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. 🇺🇸

@@SMOKEtillUReyezBLEED I think you’re right, that saying holds true nation wide! All the solutions we recommended were in line with that philosophy, and do not require “registration”. I live in KY, so I dont have "assualt rifle law" issues. With that said, my favorite would be the SCR Fightlite if it is reliable. I wonder if a PMag coupler maybe with some modification work with the 10 rd mags?
@@bryanfaulkenburg462 Kentucky, that’s Outstanding! We are putting the SCR through its paces as we speak. Interesting side note (very gray area), but CA law says if the rifle has the features of an assault rifle then it must have a fixed 10 rd magazine. If the SCR is not an assault rifle by definition, & you had some legally obtained high capacity magazines (see “freedom week”), then hypothetically the SCR & Socom 16 could be run with high capacity magazines. This makes them even more impressive to some. Either way, we’re just glad you stopped by and added to the discussion. Appreciate you & hope to see you again down here in this holler! 🫱🏻🫲🏼
🤣💯 Not laughing at you, but the California gun laws. I’m a Florida native so spoiled. I hope one day California changes. I hope one day stupid federal gun laws like 16” barrels ends!
