Hangzhou is one of my favorite place so far after I had been traveled so many places and countries...I remembered I took bus with ¥1 to travel the 10 beautiful sceneries in Hangzhou Xihu in 2008...

It's one of the UNESCO world heritage site with over 100 history. It is the biggest hometown of ethnic Chinese and it demonstrate the immigration history of ethnic Chinese. The natural scenery is also very picturesque with green fields in summer and golden fields in autumn.
Every city has her own beauty, Hangzhou is definitely among the prettiest ones.

Hey Jordan, just finished watching your lovely video about Hangzhou. Actually I spent my 4 years undergraduate college life at Hangzhou so it's like my 2nd hometown. Hangzhou is indeed a very special place to Chinese people, not just because of its natural beauty, but more for its rich history. Almost all of the famous poets in Chinese history had come to Hangzhou and wrote numerous invaluable great poems. In another sense, the west lake is not just a beautiful lake, but it's been an inspiration for generation to generation of Chinese people over the long historical river. In my opinion, you will have to stay there much longer so you can start to appreciate her beauty, under all kinds of weather condition (sunny, rainy, snowy etc). There is an old Chinese saying, above the sky you can find paradise, under the heaven you can find beautiful cities like Suzhou and Hangzhou. That's how important Hangzhou is to us. Hope you can have chance in future to visit Hangzhou again.
