Why did you curse others who are not in agreement with your doctrine?

because they(everyone included in the anathema's) split from the original teachings, changing them as it filled their desires. Most of these people were against the ecumenical synods, but Saints were there and by the grace of God they countered them with powerful, full of wisdom arguments and even with miracles when was needed. The anathema's exist since around 4th century as a big thing but they are also alive in the Old Testament. As true men of God we should keep them and not fall victim to the "We follow the same God", "God loves us" no. He loves us for the Saints we are called to be. He knows our full potential and that potential we cannot even grasp unless we are following the original teachings, original Church and God as He is not as men say He is. Stay true to Orthodoxy, it is the only way one can be sanctified and reach communion with God.
