Thanks! Colony 9 is one of my favorite themes from that game and actually the first theme I ever wanted to cover of this game, but I always try to cover what most people want, and there weren't that many Colony 9 requests until now. It'll probably come in the future, though^^

Dang this seems hard to play
hey @Aqare I'm curious about your learning process with new covers. How much time does it take you to perfectly play one. and what's your process with tricky parts (where you need to jump between spaced notes in high frequency like here 2:18)
Hi! You should note that all of my covers are being cut, so they are never actually learnt to perfection, otherwise I'd have to practice at least 1-2 months, which would mean way less videos. I still practice them to a point that I can play the entire piece as good as possible, but never in a way that I can play the whole piece in one go. There were only 3 covers I didn't cut.
Otherwise, learning covers to the point that I can play them for a recording takes a few days.
2:18 isn't a tricky part for me personally, I do not need to practice jumps like that because of how used I am to those. At this point, I can just get the jump right without even looking at my hands. This all comes from 16+ years of experience and the fact that I learnt this professionally. If you would like to get a tip how to practice these jumps, then I recommend practicing only one hand, and only that one part thousands of times, mostly moving your hand from the lower part of the jump to the higher part, and only pressing the keys down when you see that your fingers are on the correct keys. Doing that several times will train your hands how to get those jumps every single time.

@@souit957 oh yeah. I've been trying to learn his cover of One Last You for a good... I'd say year at this point, and the bridge still breaks me for whatever reason. The song up until the bridge is fine, and after the bridge is fine, but the bridge just gets me for whatever reason.
@@ninjamagic004 it's also in my must learn list. But I need to first learn how to read the squiggly music stuff. I'm just using synthesia and stupid muscle memory.
