Depends. I'm a fan of the touch-bar and I like the somewhat bulkier style of the pro. The Pro also is packing a fan so it should be able to handle heavier workloads than the air. But I also gotta say my fan kicked in only ONCE! while running a benchmark. So If you want to save a few bucks, you probably can get away with the Air 😉
