What a shame that we're living in the world where groups like GWSN, Onlyoneof, LUCY, Black Swan and a lot more don't get what they deserve (BTW, I couldn't think you would reply to me. This was their first album with the new producer. It's has a different feel to it compared to their previous release but still has elements of their original sound. Burn shouldn't count as it's an intro/throwaway lol You'll love the second half to the album tho :)
They probably have my favourite discography in k-pop even though i don't even like fully stan them. Can't wait for you to get to "The Park in the Night Part Two" and "The Keys" albums
I've been listening to every single album posted to /r/kpop since the beginning of 2019 in order to discover new songs (easily a couple hundred albums currently). This album is still easily contesting with AOTY for me at this point, alongside Ateez Zero: Fever Part 2 and a few others. For reference my top 5 favorite groups are Dreamcatcher, Stray Kids, Red Velvet, Mamamoo, and KARD so I try to be as objective as I can and not hand out titles like AOTY lightly. 'Burn' is probably my favorite song off this album/EP since I love the voice manipulation on it and not many groups tackle that exact sound (also I came from a background of listening to lots of Trap, Future Bass, and Chill EDM before delving into Kpop). You will definitely love the second part of this album for sure though, it really does get better as the album progresses.
Can't remember if you've already checked it out, maybe you haven't, but after witnessing your death by Fairy Tale (haha), you should check out Wonderboy, The Aerialist. One of GWSN's really killer B-sides. 😉😉😉
OMG thank you for relistening to like it hot after listening to their earlier tracks. For me, their debut and first comeback was the best but most important, it creates a signature sound for them. Like it hot is slightly different but literally slaps after listening 2-3 times
in fact Anne is the main rapper and Miya is the lead rapper, both were spitting the bars in Burn, but since Anne is lead vocalist too, recently she sings more and Miya raps more 🐍 glad you liked i can't breathe i listen to it everyday literally

I think the member you're noticing vocally is Lena orSeoryoung, they do a lot of runs and stood out a ton to me too especially in the Keys Album. For me it's Lena's mostly
I think Seoryoung is the one that stands out to you. I’m glad this was enjoyable for you. I think you’d like Starry Night and I sing(la la la). Starry Night is very liked by us Groos. Though I love Burn a lot more. And There are 2 main vocals and 2 main rappers they’re the ones that did Burn.
I really liked this album and the previous one but I don't think they come close to their first 3 minis, the b sides of "The park in the night" trilogy were immaculate, they reminded me of the quality we get in Red Velvet b sides.
I love GWSN and their discography is top notch but Miya's rap verses usually throw me off too tbh, I understand what you mean. I love her and I always feel like they're doing her dirty by giving her weird parts and adding some strange layers over her rapping/vocals so it comes out sounding really distorted. Nonetheless, their songs SLAP, I can't wait for your other GWSN album first listens! 🔥
