yes, winter certainly makes riding difficult 🥶 if the sun is out, and there is some snow on the ground- it can make for great videos. Some of my most memorable rides were in the winter, where I set out well prepared and everything went smoothly. Most of the time in winter I don't go far, and its just a short ride. I knew that anomaly in my rear tube was gonna cause a problem eventually Lol... im lucky i didnt go far! and super lucky Gustav gave me a ride, wow!! Again, Thank you very much sir 🙏🙏 for your generous contributions to ebike testing and developments!! The Regen V7 torque arm is working nicely!! It seems it's more or less required to do regen braking with a welded-clutch g62 motor. Along with the Loctite 648, regen feels really smooth!! 👍👍 Now I just need to deal with that flat tire!!! 😂😅
I have send you a email about freegen for geared hub motor. It is realy a thing maybe you can do it diy. Grintech has a video on his site in UA-cam. Its worth to watch 😊 greetings from germany
@@E-BIKE_Madness hey my friend thanks for the email!! Freegen is a novel concept indeed! I watched the video- my understanding is freegen requires the disc brake rotor mounted to the planetary gear carrier. That requires the gear carrier to be on the brake rotor side of the motor, internally. I think in the bafang g62 the gear carrier is on the drive side, so freegen would not be possible with the g62. In the bafang g60 and g61 the gear carrier is on the brake rotor side, so those motors at least have the gear carrier on the brake rotor side, but then you’d need to attach the brake rotor to the gear carrier, which seems like a challenge 🤔 i think the motor needs to be designed for the purpose of freegen. It would be a difficult DIY modification! You would have to make an adapter to mount the brake rotor to the internal planetary gear carrier of the motor. It would require extensive modification to the brake rotor mount cover plate of the g60 /g61. I’m not sure if its possible but its fun to think about 😂👍🙏🫡
Custom made torque arm is a must. No bike are the same
Love this I was looking to buy this
I do not miss the cold winter rides! 🥶🥶🚵

It is indeed Canadian slang! 16:30. Not sure if it made it down south but it made this old Canadian smile😊.
never heard that in my life 🤣😂 so funny Lolol
I make my own torque arms, but they are not clamping to the axle, just press fit. I think this one is more solid.
