Love all the different combinations for coloring dogs! Would love to see a coloring combo for the adorable Lawn Fawn mice images, as well as bears and bunnies!! 💖
I always appreciate these videos. Seeing the side by side comparisons is so helpful. May be some type of bird or fish/sea creature next? Thank you for these tutorials.
I love this series, those pups are so sweet and cute! I love how you portrayed Gemma, so fun. You are so talented, I love how you come up with all of these different combinations and colors. All of your instructions and tips are really valuable, I love having this to help me when I make critters that I want yo be more unique or represent a certain breed. Thank you for sharing this. I would love to see bunnies next and some mice would be fun, too. Frogs would be kind of cool in a future video, or pigs, bears, or cows. I guess there wouldn't be too much of a variety so probably not but you could try sheep, birds and horses. Those should have quite a few different ways that they could be colored. Well, I am out of ideas but anything you want to share will be super appreciated. You are such a light to this community and to me. You always have such a kind and sweet spirit about you; you are a joy to see. Thank you for sharing your talents and creativity with us. I appreciate you and am so grateful for you. Have a blessed and beautiful week! Lots of love and big hugs!!
Those are all excellent ideas! Thank you, Rose! Some of these are already on my list, but I’ll add the others too. I’m so happy you’re enjoying this series. Thank you so much for the lovely words of encouragement! 🥰 Have a great week!
I love all the combos and the that you write the colours on the card so that I can put a prt Scr and keep them for future reference. Please continue to do this in the future. I have lots of pieces of paper all over with lots of your combos written down, but they get themselves lost when I need them! Keep up the good work
Aw, maybe try getting a little pocket sized notebook to jot down your favorite combos in, that way you’ll always know where they are. Thank you so much for the lovely words!😊
@@christygetscrafty just knowing the colours doesn't help, as I need to be reminded what they look like . That is why I like your idea of writing it down on the screen so when I copy the pics from the screen it has the colours too, I could write them on the pics myself...... but that is way too much effort lol. Note books would get lost in my craftroom. I have A LOT of stuff. I keep everything I need to refer to, filed on my computer
Oh my goodness! Thank you so, so much! I am so grateful and appreciative of your support. That was very kind and I thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart!💖🥰💖
I should be used to your talent, but every time I’m amazed at what you can create. Thank you for this video! I always struggle when I have to color birds … I have trouble finding good combinations. Just saying 😜
I Learn so much from you , just starting to color with copics markers . My birthday is in August, asking my husband and son for giftcards , so i can buy more copics and stamps and so much more ❤❤. Linda Okkels from the Netherlands.
I really like how you did the spotted dog. I now have a white dog with black spots. It's hard to reproduce her since her face and ears are mostly black and a white strip down the middle of her face, so her eyes don't show up well. I agree about the dogs coming in different shapes. That's why I decided upon a Mama Elephant's playful pups stamps when I first started doing card making and stamps. That set had several shaped like Miniature Schnauzers (which could also probably pass as Scotties or Westies.) I like Australian Shepherds.
I feel your pain! I used to have a solid black dog and it was a struggle to represent her. Maybe try adding a little glint in her eyes with a white gel pen? That might help them stand out a bit more.🐶
Hi Christy, Thank you for the beautifully coloured puppies! They look great! My brother has an Australian Shepherd called Bear. He loves to run, (he's a little naughty and doesn't always come back!) and he enjoys a ride on my brothers tractor. Have an amazing week! 🐩🐕🦮🐕🦺❤
I love your coloring so much! I rewatched this multiple times to color my own little dogs :) Would you ever consider trying Ohuhu alcohol markers? I have those because copic markers are so expensive, and I am just trying to see if it is possible to color the way you do with them. My critters always come out cute but not as blended and I don't know if it is me or the product. I am debating if I should invest in some copics and which ones
I’m so happy that you enjoy my videos! I’m so glad you’re finding ways to modify the combos to the markers you have. I probably will not try Ohuhu markers myself, just because I pay for my supplies out of what this channel earns and the funds are very limited. I’m trying to save for a new filming camera since the one that I’m using is over ten years old and not working great anymore. So I just have other things that are a higher priority right now. I’m not saying never, but it’s unlikely that I would make the investment into another marker brand anytime soon. I’m sure that there are other fabulous colorists out there who are using them though! Hopefully you can find some to add to your watch list.☺️
@@christygetscrafty Completely understand. Thanks for your response!! I actually went back and watched your copic basics video and tried different paper as well as putting another sheet of paper behind it and that worked SO much better to blend the colors! I was shocked but super excited about that :)

I love this series. My dog is white.
Aw, sweet! I grew up with white dogs for most of my childhood.🤍

great job but it seems to take SO MANY markers to be able to do the shading....
If you want to do simple coloring, you only need three, a dark, medium, and light in the same color family.
