- One of the greatest tragedies is for a person to live his whole life with no purpose, sense of direction, or goals. Do you know what you are living for?
Dr. Stanley reminds us that God has a plan for each of our lives. That’s why He has given us talents, abilities, and skills to help people and accomplish the things He wants us to accomplish. We are to put these gifts to work to serve one another as God’s good stewards. Whatever gifts we have received, God gave them to use for the purpose of serving others.

The reason why we don't use our motivational gifts. (1) Living in sin. (2) Selfishness ie life is all about me,myself and I. (3) Guilt (4) Inadequacy. (5) Lack of love and care (6)Ignorance of the scripture (7) Comparing yourself with others.

I pray this morning God to show me what purpose I have.
Since I'm older now find myself just existing day-by-day with little or no hope of accomplishing anything. It's lonely and I just to the same thing everyday.
But when I do go out I compliment people and I lift them up and I give many things away.
Where I am staying I fix things that are broken.
And clean and I cook
And I do things for a dog feed him brush his teeth and love him.
And eat and sleep.
Here I had a gift in a purpose and never knew it
He's always been calling me, all the while chastising me because of my rebellion nature (flesh) while I didn't deserve it, He brought me through it all to finally find out that all He wanted to do was LOVE me. I love Him!!!
I am now honored to serve the Most High. Thank you Christ Jesus❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much, In Touch Ministries, for this precious teaching. I got about halfway through this message and started feeling guilty because I felt like I wasn't doing enough for God. I'm in my 70s and have some health issues. Then God brought to my mind the Scripture in Matthew 25:31-46 and He reminded me of all the things I did for others when I was younger.
Each one of Dr. Stanley's teachings is Holy Spirit inspired and I thank God that they are still available online. Real nourishment for our souls!

I love your comment. Thank you for sharing.. I'm about to turn 36 in a few days. I hope and pray when I'm 70 I can look back knowing I helped people and did Gods will and not my own. I have always struggled with self esteem/confidence issues. I don't talk much at church. I want to step out more and tell everyone what God's done in my heart and life. Also want to find my place in the body of Christ. Hopefully the Lord let's me know how Hed like me to serve soon. 🙏

I cried. Just this morning, I was seated next to someone. We engaged in small talk before the service started, and I found out that she was a previous missionary of the church. The next thing I knew, I was at the information booth right after the service, inquiring about how I could volunteer for the Admin team. They mentioned that they don't have any slots available at the moment and that it would probably open up again for volunteers in February 2024. However, they are willing to accept me, and they took my contact information so I can be scheduled for the coming weeks.
While on my way home, I was so happy, but at the same time, I honestly felt as if I had been a bit impulsive in making that decision, since I had only started attending this Christian Church a few months ago. I had been a Catholic all my life and had never experienced serving the Lord or volunteering for anything. I felt intimidated and not really sure about myself. But I prayed to God because I know deep down in my heart that I can never go wrong when it's for Him.
And then... I saw this! What are the odds? 😭 Thank you so much, Lord, for the confirmation.♥

I thank God for Dr. Stanley & his amazing witness & ministry. I have been a follower since the late 1970's when I first read his book, "The Source of My Strength". It's a wonderful book full of the wisdom, truth & love of God. Over the years, I developed a bit of rapport w/Dr. Stanley via letters. He even sent me wonderful books to help me. Now, I pray for his son, who seems to have been led astray. This makes me sad. Then I go to Dr. Stanley's ministry & am so blessed & enriched. Thank you Lord, thank you Dr. Stanley for a life of selfless service.

True churches work six days per week. Sabbath days, Saturdays and Sundays, we should not work, on these Sabbath days of Christians. We all have gifts by the Grace of God. We are a city within a city, doing the unadulterated will of God. We are God's loving Caregivers, who left understaffed nursing facilities and agencies determined to keep us in poverty, without health insurance, determined to keep American families in poverty. True competition must return to the Market Place. True churches must include all members as investors. Robbing God is a sin. Affordable housing must be established by all churches, no longer using one purse. Do the Right Thing, Managers! Or God will come and take what you have. In Jesus name. Amen
We want all criminals and exoffenders out of the churches, who should not have any financial and personal information of the members in these churches. Our personal information has been compromised by these politicians and leaders who have taken bribes. 🙏

Why do we not serve the LORD?
Sad to answer this question like this, but this is what's happening in many churches 5his days.
Prophets are not welcome to most churches.
Teacher, ordained by GOD and anointed with the Spirit of the LORD, is not welcome because the person must first have such a degree from the Bible College University they desire.
I'm answering this question, hoping that those leaders of churches will do what the LORD told us to do. To make disciples.
Remove the legalism in churches, and you'll see the moves, manifestation of the Holy Spirit both in your church as a group of people and as individual temple of the LORD GOD AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND HIS HOLY SPIRIT. peace!
