I think it's quite tasteful the way he approaches it. It would be a mistake--and an Epic Fail--to try and simply out--Doug Sir Douglas who had more soul than God. Instead, Moore chooses two key strengths here to focus and capitalize upon: his heavy, deft guitar chops, but ESPECIALLY, the killer vocal harmonies he shares with the bassist and former Posie. Those harmonies sound killer to me.
Dude puts it all on the line for the morning listeners. Love this version thanks Ian Moore!
I've been recently in touch with Ian. He has dystonia. He can't talk, but is able to sing. Crazy. Please support him.
Of course ~ it's Crossroads ~ 💜
Really nice.
It just always seems so effortless. Ian Moore expels his soul like I expel carbon dioxide.
this is not what Crossroads is supposed to sound like, sorry man.
Curious why you think that. I really dig this cover. Actually, this clip helped me discover Doug Sahm.
covers rarely sound like the original. Some do, some don't, some give the original a whole new look and life. Love both versions of this classic.
