love the USB multi plug, even for at home! a packing hack I saw on TikTok which we are going to use for our holiday this year is to get one of those over the door shoe organisers and rolling up our toddler and baby's outfits for each day into each of the pockets, then you just have to fold the shoe organiser down and put that as is into the suitcase, then when you get to your hotel you can just hang it straight up on the door and all of their outfits are ready to go! 👌🏻👌🏻

Me too, the mesh laundry bags and extension leads made things much easier. But I like the idea of the dryer sheets to make the cases smell nicer especially when they're full of the dirty laundry!

Cute hacks!! I actually use nearly all of these and it’s so worth it!! I also have the sun hat it’s so handy to roll - and you taught me about the shoes in shower caps. I’ve found the elastic can come away from the plastic super easy as they are so cheap so another alternative we use are the small bags like onions and loose veg come in from Sainsbury’s - just the right size. Don’t look as pleasing but don’t break as quick!!

We had someone get sick with MONO on our last vacation. Poor guy. Thankfully we had basic meds with us.
I alway located a laundry service and do the washing before coming home 🙌 and we bring a extention lead also 😊 also you can bring dogs on holidays too 🙌
Love the hack on bringing a multi pin plug so you only need one adaptor!!
The ‘roll hat’, whist packable, (and cute) won’t keep the sun off your head to prevent sunstroke!

Great ideas Emily. I did the same great hack for my son for a school trip.
We reuse plastic Walmart bags instead of the shower cap, and for the daily clothes bundles instead of the plastIc wallet. Also a plastic bag like that for dirty laundry & we always stick ibehind the door of the hotel or a corner- the dirty laundry area.
Bags are free!
Genius, I have just saved a whole hand luggage by finding space in my husbands ski boot bag instead! Thank you Emily x

We were in Cornwall last two weeks of July. Hope you have better weather than we did.
When I go away and if I want some hair grips I will use empty tic tac boxes. They come in different sizes which are useful for different sized hair grips. Xx 😊

To save even more space you can also pack clothes (usually I do socks) inside the shoes. Otherwise is just empty space in there :)

Take a power bar with USB ports and that saves taking an extra adapter in your luggage, we did that on a cruise we went on 8 years ago xxxxxxxx

I’d like to know what year Matt came up with his plug hack because I think it’s mine 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 my other one is to take a points card (like your advantage card) stick it in the key bit for the electricity and you can come back to a nice cool air conditioned room. (I know it’s not environmentally friendly but neither am I when I’m too hot 😂)

Where is a cheap place to take a trip
The car seat recommendation is not safe, they might throw the car seat or it will roll around underneath making the car seat now unsafe. The car seat can be used on the plane.
Stainless steel alters the taste in drinks 😅 so I rather use a silicone straw
