Fuck Microsoft , I’ll emulate older games the good ones that I enjoyed years ago and move over to steam and ps5 permanently xbox shot themselves in the foot. I stopped buying games for xbox because of the stupid price increase for games going up to 70$ I stopped buying single player games and multiplayer games as well a few years ago because of game pass. Now with the price increase Ill pet my subscription end and idk maybe sell my xbox for some money atleast steam is decent with their discounts plus the fact they do have early access for games alpha tests for games something xbox does not offer. As an owner of ultimate Ive played a few games from it but lately theres nothing I want to play on it recently not to mention games just seem to be dying idk why but I see it happening. End of an era for myself and many others.

The thing is, Xbox players don’t buy games, so it doesn’t matter in the end. They will still say “I’ll just wait for it to come to Game Pass”. I say this as an Xbox Series X owner, nobody on Xbox buys games.
Same, I've had my series X since launch and haven't purchased a single game. I just sub to Gamepass console for a month when a new first party title drops and burn through it over a couple weeks. Guess I'll still do the same with Ultimate. Still Beats paying $70 for a new game.

And no, i dont ever pay $70, i wait for a sale of half price, & have bought a lot of games far cheaper since I didn't buy a PS5 the first 2 years it was out.
I buy physical for my Series X. Well, I bought Starfield. I'll probably also be getting Avowed and Indiana Jones. Mostly, I've been using it for 360 and One games.

Said it from the beginning, gamepass is struggling to mortise itself and just isn’t catching on. I don’t see how this move will help it. All they doing now is squeezing the current subscribers for all they can while they can, while not attracting new subscribers. Especially since for whatever reason they killing it off of consoles.
So Microsoft is forcing game pass console ($10.99 per month) users to go to ultimate (now $20 a month) for day 1 releases, basically doubling the price for console users. While game pass PC gets a small bump to $11.99 because they know PC players can easily find deals on Steam and other places. Basically Microsoft is bending console players over a barrel. That pisses me off 🤬
For the Promise of day one mediocre releases that even now still have no release dates. So it’s a bump in price just to keep waiting and hoping that those games come, and then when they finally do, you get Garfield and Hellblade 😂
It wasn't a lot when the gold to ultimate deal was available. It was my first attempt so only did 2 years, finishes this month. Averaged around £4 a month for ultimate, over 2 years.
I know they trying to buy up every games publisher and out spend Sony out of business. Plus pushing a video game subscription service now look at the systems it not selling plus lay off lot of dev etc now a price hike 😂😂😂

Way to stick it to console players. My Series X has been collecting dust since last year. I lost all confidence with Phil & company. That ship has sunk but is still sinking. It's a shame what has happened, but this is what happens when you rely on a service versus actually selling consoles and software.

Scam Pass. They would be better off with kicking everything but their own content off Gamepass and using that change to reduce the price immensely.
