Hillebergs are incredibly well made tents but I can only think of a couple of places in the UK that it would be worth buying one for. Most 3 season tents are sufficient for the uk and although I own a couple of black label hillebergs they are over kill. Save your money and invest it in beer 😋
Thanks mate. That is what i think be over kill. Not very often i camp on a exposed summit. Normally i go camping for least 3 days to make it worth getting the train to what part the UK i be camping so need keep bag weight down and keep stuff dry as possible so tend camp in sheltered areas. Same for doing long trails i normally wild camp the whole way so need keep stuff dry. Whisky in may case :) All best mate. Richard
Hi there, wats your weekly routine cus u always seem to be on trail, are you out full time or do you have a base and go out so many day week , do you work and how do you subsidise it if not, hope you don’t mind the personal questions and don’t think you need to answer I understand but I would love to do what you do and cover the country trails on a full time basis but funds would be struggle after time thx?
I only been away once this Year so far to Dartmoor. Before that i was camping on two nights locally and also on the winter solstice locally one night last year. When i do go some where like the Lake District i try get at least a week there so i can get 7 episodes out that. I am self employed on a very very low income so some times its more easy get the time some times not. I have a dog now so i am doing trails where i not going be away to long. In the past fair to say i sent lot time camping. Last time i went to New Zealand i spent the 6 months camping and walking everyday just about great times. I use public transport and try get the best deals on travel normally better for train or coach travel if you can book ahead can save alot. I have no car or van to pay for and i often hitchhike or walk in remote places to get start of hikes. Same with camping gear i only buy stuff that been discounted. all best Richard
Its ok but not worth what you pay for it new. It often fails to switch on. The lens on my has a big scratch on just from falling out my pocket to the ground so its hardly tough. The display on mine has no crack in the cold and was not even that cold. Battery runs out in less than 20mins use in 8c. Not fantastic for filming in forest even in day light looks terrible. It does film good in the summer months when the lights good in the open.
Top quality as usual! I’ll be in the same area in around a month 👍
Love Dartmoor easy for me to get to. I be back soon i am sure. Enjoy your time there mate. All best Richard
this lad should have a huge demographic ..... excellent channel.

I was thinking of getting the Go Pro 8 , but it sounds like yours is a lot of hassle. Would you not recommend it?
