Good setup, Andy, looking forward to seeing some run-time on the creek, minor advisory warning it's a potential cheesegrater for your fingertips. Effective and efficient!
Me too Mark. We have had a dry summer and autumn. Now mid winter and still a dry one, not enough flow. I will have to build a dam! It will happen. Thanks for watching my friend
I agree .......... who needs a safety guard! I found a wire screen security door yesterday, might be able to use it? All the cool kids have a forward classifier!
@@andypandyAU.6669 I got an old vid with basically the same design, it works, my punch plate was actually from electrical cable tray ....... from a dumpster! Cheers

@@andypandyAU.6669 lol. I like the way u work. U use the free discarded stuff. And top prop’s! I’ve never yet seen u duct tape something. I hate duct tape. There’s a edict of building stuff. There’s a time and a place for every fastener out there 🧷. But not duct tape. 🍻🤴🏻🗽
Compressor is dead, plus I want to make a bigger trommel out of the dead Compressors for a friend to use on his private property with a gold bearing creek. A flow through design. Cheers
@@andypandyAU.6669 That what you making for your mate , would an LPG Tank from a vehicle work , or is there something special about the parts from an air compressor ?

You could even add some 90°angle line to the top & set it into a V that way the rock fall to the side of the Sluice

That will do the job fine. Hope to get out and have a go during my next R&R. Maybe Tibooburra or Dunolly area, weather depending.
Good luck mate
I myself would have had a go at getting the compressor going using the scrap sluice for parts
