As someone who lives in one of the seedier tourist areas of Bangkok I’d love a lesson on the ruder ways to say no.
These videos are great. Thank you. I’m in Bueng Kan with my Thai girlfriend and the locals really appreciate it if I try and speak a little of the language.
Merci ❤
A great collection of polite phrases, thank you very much kru Pear. 🙏😄
Thank you for your lovely comment as always. I'm happy to read them.
@@ThaiwithMod Glad to hear that. Have a wonderful weekend 😄🙏
learn something every new video, thanks!
I'm glad to hear that you found our lessons useful in your Thai learning. :)
Hello! I was wondering if you could do a video of reviewing Drops’s Thai. It would be highly useful for those who are learning or trying to learn vocabs from that app!
It’s SO sweet, that Thai language doesn’t have a word for “no”! That says a lot about Thai culture 🇹🇭😍❤️ Love this channel: Farang rien paasàá thai dáài 😄🙏
Thank you for your comment, I am glad you enjoy our lessons. Kop kun ka :)
idk if that's fully correct.. what about ไม่ ?
@@riceland007 I can’t read Thai script: Could you please write it in transliteration? 😊
ขอบคุณมากที่ถาม แต่ที่จริงๆจะไม่มีวันทึ่กูจะไปไหนกับมึง 5555
Do you say that to the bar girls? How do they respond? 555
This is beautiful ❤️😍❤️
Thank you for your kind comment.
Bro like, this is super cool, it's like you can just reject someone
🙏
ขอโทษครับ, ไม่สะดวก.
Korthot kraaab, mai saduak..
Can this phrase be used also when turning down an invite.?
ได้ค่ะ :)
I do prefer the “aw” more than “or” for อ. My dialect and about half of English speakers pronounce that ‘r’-not silent.
That's the problem with romanisation. Different people write differently for the same thai script..
🤔 I can’t remember ever having to say no to a Thai person. 😄
Useful, but although I've found things to say that I think are polite, what should I say to the many hawkers, touts and other people that approach me with things or services I do not want?
Mai ow krap
That would be „Mai ao „ at 5 minutes 😊.
@@deantaylor6085 That's what I use, as opposed to meeow krap which gets a laugh. Just didn't seem to be typically Thai polite though.
@@Gieza-Brake-Pahl That's what I use, but I was unsure how polite a response that actually was.
@@Swaggerlot it is direct and is best used in those situations where you want to end the conversation but don’t forget the kop khun krap at the end to save face for the person who approached you. 😀
wish you could tell us some of your favorite thai movies
'invitation', not 'inVAITATION'; but: 'inVait';
Wow, is there really going to be that many Thai people inviting me places?
How do I tell massage lady I don’t want a massage?
