Judging by the wreckage this had to be a very violent crash. Amazing how much of the plane is still there. I loved seeing what was left of the engine. Please take care of yourself. I know you enjoy doing these adventures but you need to get yourself well. Don’t do anything that will prevent future adventures. Praying for your health to improve.

No one survived that crash. t was surprising that any part of the wreckage could be salvageable enough for you to share. Thanks for taking us there. Please, please take care of yourself. You are exposed to so many elements during your explores. Take your vitamins, HH. It was awesome seeing BBG join you on that particular excursion. It must have been a difficult climb and is much appreciated. Thanks, HH, BBG, & EE. ❤❤❤

Admire you for carrying on and finishing this explore. Many would have called it a day, after collapsing on that steep hillside! (including me). Quite amazing seeing the pistons, and cylinder head, just lying there, still attached to the main crank, after all this time. That first big bundle of twisted parts looks most probably to be what remains of the tubular engine framework, and engine wiring harness, from one of the engines. And considering how torn, squashed, and mangled all the pieces are, it must have been a terrible, sudden, catastrophic impact with the mountainside. Still amazing how much of the Junkers is still there waiting to be found. Thankfully, it seems the remoteness, and shear steepness, of the location has stopped many other "relic hunters" from pilfering the site of everything possible. Many thanks again, my friend, for powering through to bring us this amazing find, and to BBG, and EE, for being there with you, and finding such amazing pieces of History. Cheers to you all! Stay Well!

This was fantastic! Theres no way i couldve physically climbed up there to see this so i thank you for taking me along. Just to see the wrecksge and how badly it was smashed and crunched up was amazing but awful at the same time. How could anyone survive that? I couldn't begin to imagine how cold it was whe the crash happened. It was cool to see the motor pieces. Its wonderful seeing you all together for this one. You can never have too much time with family. There was quite a bit of wreckage left behind which surprised me. The paint was really well preserved on sime of the pieces. Wonderful explore! Take care and stay safe. Merry Christmas! 🎄💖💯

Great climb HH. Collapsing on a mountain side is only for us trolls. Some fantastic finds, the crash did a number on the aircraft but 70 years of mother nature kicking the parts around didn't help. Yes, radio battery, similar to the ones used in the Panther radio. I love your excitement, very similar to mine when I first started wreck hunting here in the UK.
Here in the UK it is a wreck hunters paradise, with easily a few hundred or more sites, of which I have visited around a hundred.
Mainly on the higher ground of the UK, as these were beyond the range of a viable recovery, they range from a few scraps of wreckage, to an aircraft that looks like it crashed a year ago, not seventy.
It still amazes me that on many crash sites, there are bare patches of earth, where vegetation after all this time, still refuses to grow.
A notable crash site literally on my doorstep is the B-29, Over Exposed, which crashed in 1948, and the sad thing is, 100 feet higher, and they would have missed the hill.

The Ju 52 is not boring. It was a vital part of the German war machine and served it's operators well.
I would love to know the history of this aircraft, which unit it flew for, and who was in the aircraft when it crashed.
Most people concentrate on the fighters and bombers of that era, so that makes this find more important in my mind.

@@WW2HistoryHunter I have only just subscribed, but I love your videos. Eagle Eye reminds me of myself, as I've always been able to find things that other people missed.
It's not about good eyesight, it's how the brain interprets what you see.
I used to work at a large indoor/outdoor paintball range in Johannesburg, South Africa back in the 1990s.
I was the guy that went looking for wallets, camo jackets, gun barrels, jewelry and anything else that got lost. 9/10 times I'd find the impossible objects.
I am disabled now, but would have loved doing what you and your family are doing.

That must have been a full throttle crash based on the looks of the crumpled material that you found scattered all over that mountain side. Was the plane shot down or did it crash for some other reason? I did not realize the JU had radial engines and the piston size was surprising. I guess the size of the actual airplane vs what it looks like in a picture makes me realize that the plane was quite large. Great finds in a difficult location! Thanks to you all for taking us along! Another amazing video from you and your team. Many kudos to you for doing that in the physical condition you were. Hope you are feeling better now. Had the same lung problem, infection, around 50yrs old while playing goal in ice hockey, nearly passing out numerous times, from dizziness, weakness, but, struggled through it for two hours but because the team depended on me to perform I stuck with it. Next day, went to doctor.

Oh HH, you were so very ill back then. Not to say that we weren't interested in that site, but maybe you just should have took the doctor's advise for a little while at least. It's better to delay than not be able to go at all because your wrecked your lungs silly. It was a nice surprise to see BBG join you as she has such a busy schedule. Good find EE. Surprised that the outer skin was in such good shape considering the time there and the impact of the crash. Also, great find BBG on discovering the pistons, crankshaft and battery. You were able to find a couple of pieces of the wreckage also HH. No more falling HH. Don't want you suffering anymore battle wounds. Between all of you, you sure found mutliple parts, some with original green colour. Your phone is always ringing HH. You are so popular. A lot of climbing you did. We would never say you don't give it your all HH. Whoever put that model together did an awesome job. Thank you HH, EE, BBG and BBG's friend. "Never Surrender". 💕

Very cool!!! Finding those radial cylinders is awesome. Surprised how much of the plane is still there. The "Tante Ju" (Aunte Ju) was quite a important aircraft, in civil and militay aviation. I've actualy flown in one with my dad a long time ago. Was quite an experience. Unfortunatly, a couple years ago a Ju52 crashed here in the alps(Switzerland) while on a round trip with passengers which all perished. After that crash the remaining 2 or 3 Ju52's that the company had were grounded. But I believe they are or will be flying again. Coincedently, the Ju52 that crashed was the same one that i had flown in many years before... Cause of the crash was atmospherical conditions as well as pilot error but not sure anymore how exactly.
Yeh need to be careful on snow fields like that. Possible there's one meter of snow and a raging stream under a thin layer of snow. if you break through the there.... Not good. Stay safe.
Oh, and i think we all want see what was up the stairs were you flew the drone in the bunker :)

JU52 was an awkward looking plane. Corrugated side panels are those sheetmetal you found. Tri- engines were almost exposed. It would have been a quick ending on those rocks

I feel that it’s safe to say the rivets weren’t scavenged but are more likely to be in the piece of metal that mated to that one.

What a absolute scene of obliteration this plane left I wonder if those on board bailed out before impact?. The amount of engineering that went into designing and building these metal birds is mind boggling. HH you really are a trooper mate going out on this field trip in the freezing snow and climbing up a mountain side looking for these remnants of WW2. Glad you are all better now. Take care guys and stay safe.
