Loved it. Congrats on the nice bucks Brady and Seth! Seriously though Mather has got an awesome eye for what makes a great hunting film. The struggle is so real!!
I just finished watching BRO 2.0 with the gohunt crew in Wyoming. I'd never heard of the gohunt crew or channel before that. I'm sure glad I have now. I've watched several videos and am totally impressed! Really, some of the best hunting videos I've seen. It seems I've got a lot of catching up to do. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed that Wyoming hunt with Born and Raised! Those guys were a blast to hunt with. Also, thanks for the kind words. Glad you found us and great to hear you enjoy our style of hunt films. We have some great films and more hunting research tools on INSIDER in the works.
Flat tops Wilderness Area, 2nd season one of my favorite places to hunt big muledeer. However there shy and tend to hold up in cover. I locate rubs and scrapes and then hunt them. Most of the big 30" bucks are in black timber by the time 2nd season starts. Trail cams on rubs to see whats making them saves time. I hunt the does to find the bucks. As the rut turns up the big old boys will move more. Loads of fun hunting the beautiful Colorado mountains. great video and hunt !!! Go Hunt !!
Thank you for the kind words! We try to film these hunts in more of a documentary style and not try to push products with discussions about gear in the video itself. But, with that said, Brady usually does a great job explaining all his backcountry gear in a written format and also dedicated gear list videos. You can check out the gear he used on this hunt here: www.gohunt.com/read/skills/brady-miller-2017-late-season-backcountry-gear-list On this hunt, Brady was using 200 grain ELD-X Hornady Precision Hunters in 300 win mag. But for the 2018 season, Brady is switching his ammo to 215 Berger Hybrids. The tipi is definitely a huge help on late season hunts. And is very lightweight! That one is made by Seek Outside and is their Lil' Bug Out shelter. Hope that helps. Happy to answer any other questions you might have.
On the record....nobody covers gear and details better then GoHunt. Plus, your response to inquiries is exceptional!! I always appreciate your time and consideration! Please, just keep the videos coming!
Awesome video! What elevation did y’all end up seeing the most deer? I pulled a second season muley tag in co and have several spots lined up. My favorite so far are at 11+. I’m headed in on my own. I know the challenges of a solo hunt, especially for a solo female (100% disabled veteran to boot lol), so if I can save a couple days of humping and hone in on a solid elevation range I’d be really grateful.
Great footage and great shooting! I really liked how you guys took a day to do the hotel thing. A good sleep can really put the juice back in ya. What kind of seasoning do y’all take for cooking backstraps?
Hey Gabriel. This is Brady responding to you. I've used several different brands of scopes and the one I currently love and trust is the Vortex Razor HD AMG 6-25x50 riflescope. It performs when I need it, it can handle a beating and it tracks very well no matter the distance. I have full trust in it!
Seek Outside Cimarron with medium Seek Outside stove. shop.gohunt.com/products/seek-outside-the-cimarron shop.gohunt.com/products/seek-outside-titanium-wood-stove
Awesome tent! I use the same tent with the large stove (for those MN winters). I was confused because I saw you using the trekking poles for setup. Looked smaller but probably doesn't help that Brady is a giant. ;)
Is there anything better on earth? Strong legs and a strong mind will always bring success! You guys rock
Footage of the shot was insane and to hit that is even more insane! Perfect
The reverence you show for the animals after taking them is commendable. This is the type of stuff non hunters need to see.
Nice shooting boys!
Ive hunted a lot and watched a lot of videos on youtube. This is one of the best films I've seen. Well done.
Jim Berkenfield Thanks man🙏🏻 We really appreciate! Next week we’re releasing a new hunt film so stay tuned!
What an awesome story and way to stick it out. You guys had me drooling with that backstrap pasta primavera. Another great film!
What an amazing hunt you two. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Glad you enjoyed!

Nice work Seth and Brady! Those days off pounding the hills were well worth it, congrats...
Loved it. Congrats on the nice bucks Brady and Seth! Seriously though Mather has got an awesome eye for what makes a great hunting film. The struggle is so real!!

Love your guys’s videos! You guys should put more detail to your gear! What are you guys shooting and grain, not to mention the teepee is rad!

Hey Brady, is that a browning X bolt heels canyon rifle? What caliber are you using here?
Great video. I miss living in CO and chasing Muley and Elk
Yes, It;s the Hells Canyon Speed .300 Win Mag
Awesome video! What elevation did y’all end up seeing the most deer? I pulled a second season muley tag in co and have several spots lined up. My favorite so far are at 11+. I’m headed in on my own. Good job Seth
Great footage and great shooting! I really liked how you guys took a day to do the hotel thing. A good sleep can really put the juice back in ya. What kind of seasoning do y’all take for cooking backstraps?
Usually, bring some good ol' High Mountain mesquite seasoning.
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Great hunt fellas. Way to handle adversity.
In the second rifle season is the snow usually above a certain elevation or does it just depend on the winter?
Great video, where could I pick up one of those portable mini wood stoves?
You can get a Seek Outside Stove here: shop.gohunt.com/collections/seek-outside/products/seek-outside-titanium-wood-stove
@@GOHUNT Thanks fellas!
Nice shooting boys! Just curious, what caliber do y’all use for those browning’s?
Thanks Austin, Most of the people in the office Brady included shoot 300 Win Mags.
What scope do you use on your Xbolt ?

Are you running the Seek Outside Silvertip?

There is something running behind you at 6:46. If it was a deer did you guys see it while you were glassing?
We’ve actually gotten a couple comments on that. Pretty crazy! Never saw until the video was released.
What rifle was used for shooting the first deer?
That was a Browning X-Bolt Hell's Canyon Long Range in 28 Nosler. Great shooting rifle!
hotels and ATVs...setting the bar so high....
What kind of tents are tho?
Seek Outside tents! Super lightweight.
I love it
Hunted that exact area a few years ago.
What caliber was that 2nd shot
On that shot, Brady was using a Browning Hell's Canyon Speed rifle in 300 Win Mag with 200 grain ELD-X.
What camera was used?😮
Great video of the hunt! Horrible music in the beginning with those drums lol. But hell of hunt and damn fine bucks boys !
Who is the person moving towards the same patch of trees as the buck at the 6:45 mark over the prone shooters butt on hillside? Bigfoot?
You might pack a portable electric fence for bear country. A compact 2.4 lbs for huge peace of mind
Awesome
Thanks for watching Mark!
What unit is tjis
It's classified haha!
what rifle and caliber
Is this up Eagle?
