I will accept your prescription, thank you. M
@Dawson Charlie . ass.
She's not your WIFE. She's an independant woman. You're not married.
I repeat
Ass. M
They are better than the modern
Oh ! Yes, I agree 👍 💯
I agree.
I love these old crime thriller movies. Relaxing on a Friday night reminiscing about the old days, wishing I could go back to a time ,where people had self respect..
i'd rather stay here where indoor plumbing is a thing but just reminisce and also realize people were the same back then as they are now just movies couldn't show it so it looks like they were better :P still awesome movie!
@@supposedly1-2 your response is very wise and insightful. When people think the past was preferable to live in, I'm sure they envision themselves only as one of the lucky ones who didn't die from childbed fever before antibiotics, or see half their 12 children die before age six, or get hauled out of bed and lynched in the middle of the night, or wind up in an iron lung before development of the polio vaccine, or have to pay protection money to the Mafia so the windows of their family's delicatessen weren't smashed in, etc. etc. The good old days were good for the lucky ones, and the privileged ones.
And I'm with you on the indoor plumbing! And electricity! Also, I don't miss the wringer washer I ran my arm through up to the elbow when I was five, when my mom had to run back into the trailer to tend two younger siblings who were suddenly screaming. I just couldn't resist touching those rollers, and poor Mom had to run back to a screaming child OUTside, now!
Like you said, people were just as bad in the old days as they are now, but movie censorship boards prevented showing it. I grew up in a quiet, poor, decent, teetotalling, lower working-class family in Florida. My maternal grandfather was a lifelong church deacon, lovely man, who grew citrus to give to us grandkids. My paternal grandfather up in West Virginia never set foot in a church, was a coal miner, bootlegger, hell-raising, wife cheating, father of 11 kids. (Fortunately, NONE of his kids followed his example.)
Decent and indecent people can exist in the same family, in every era. People have always been free to choose which they want to be. Are more people choosing to be mean, greedy, controlling, and dishonest in their dealings with other people now than in the past, or are they just the ones who get all the attention and media exposure?
YES! And respected each other! 🕊🙏😘🌹✝️💜🙋♀️
@@supposedly1-2 you guys are taking my comment & deflecting. Please you have a nice comment , you should've put it in your own comment section. I am very intelligent, i don't need a history lesson. I'm speaking on how the old movies made me feel. You all come on here & f**k up a wet dream. Have a nice day🙋🏾♀️ P.S. PUT YOUR PICTURE UP. AT LEAST IN OLD DAYS DISCUSSIONS WAS DONE FACE TO FACE. NOT FACE TO 💻. 🤷🏽♀️ you can't tell me how i felt back then. It was more self respect. I know what and who was back then, i lived it. I said what i said. This about movies and how it makes people feel. Deflect about what you went through in your own comment section. Damn. You can't even show what you look like. So BYE......
Despite their self respect those people of the '30s/'40s sure seemed to do a lot of murdering if the cinema was any measure.
This was a very entertaining film. Far , far better than most big budget films of today because it kept you guessing.
I know this is a murder mystery, but this is one of the cutest films I've ever seen. Thank you so much Pizzaflix for posting this !
I have watched this several times. It is one of my “go to “ movies when I want something entertaining but not too serious. Thanks for posting!
Can't beat the old movies .. watched these when I was a kid loved them and still find them entertaining today .. thank you for upload
From an era when acting was an art ☺️👏, a BIG thank you 😃
I love these old movies 🎥 Sometimes, I think I was born in the wrong decade 😂 This lady’s laugh and personality is awesome 😎 though lol!!! Movies and especially Acting nowadays is garbage in my opinion. Sometimes I’ll come across something good but... Love the humor here! Anyone else agree on less blood n gore, sex and dirty comments is actually refreshing? The special effects in our time is out of this world but sometimes too much of it can ruin it... enjoyed immensely!!! Thank you for posting!!!
Thanks for watching! May the Sauce be with you.
@@PizzaFLIX,Your sauce is good on everything, but not donuts, LOL, PF
@@michaelwertzy9808 Keep watching, we have a Sauce for that.
I know a girl that laughs just like that and kind looks like the lady in the movie a little . Well she's no a girl anymore we are both in our 50's now 😊
It seems most of the replies Love the lady's laugh as do I!! BTW Never heard of vinegar on apple pie? I will call this a light hearted mystery movie 0:)
Nothing like an classic mystery movies on a cold rainy night. Ohhh..yeah!👍
I wasn't too keen on the old lady at first at the court house but she grew on me the rest of the movie and found her quite entertaining and funny especially the end scene! Good reveal of the murderer, didn't expect that! Thank you Pizzaflix.
Always a pleasure to watch these oldies.
Pretty good, held my interest throughout. Did not figure it out right away either. Good clean fun! Something that rarely happens anymore. 👍👍👏😊
I enjoyed this movie. Thank you. 💯 better than what is made in Hollywood today. I’ll watch this again.😊
These old movies are so much better that a lot of the stuff out these days. This is one of my favorite go to movies when I'm lying on the couch on a Sunday morning with a good cup of coffee.
Thank you for the free movie. I love these oldies 👍
Delightful movie! Just the right mix of suspense, humor and romance.
This was a fun murder mystery. Thank you for uploading this. I love these old movies, and this one was a pip!
I love the old lady’s giggles after every sentence.
I had a coworker who didn’t laugh, she cackled loudly. Nobody told jokes around her when they heard her, very annoying. Another used to clear her throat every 30 seconds and it drove me nuts. This woman’s laugh didn’t bother me, though.
I just love this heroine, played by Sarah Padden. She's so self assured and cocky and good natured.
For those who don't know, the "bad guy" is the reporter in "The Devil Bat" with Bela Lugosi.👍
I'm starting to recognize faces and voices, so these movies have become even more enjoyable
I love these types of movies thank you so much I watch them every night thanks again ❤️
I always like to see Herb Vigran in a good-guy role, and the comedy relief; especially when he broke the fourth wall at the end of the film.
Great old movie! Thanks for sharing!
ten minutes in i realised i saw this about 6 months ago on this channel, but ive forgotten near all of it, so its like new all over again for me. one of the perks of old age i guess. im enjoying it like new. cheers🎥❤️🥂🍕
"The Hayes office ain't gonna like that long kiss." Love the old Hollywood.
The Denim story is riveting. The comedy left me in stitches. EventualLee, the murderer is taken away in cuffs.
Omg! I 🥰 this movie. Plus the old lady Cassandra laugh
Such a wonderful old movie. I love it! Thank you so much for this one. ~Sharon
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you. 🍕
I love this gem. I've watched it a few times. Never gets old!
I remember watching this movie 🎥 years ago, it is Fantastic 😊
Thank You so much for Sharing, this has brought back so many happy memories, love it.
God Bless 😊🙏
I just lost it when the judge lost his gavel!!!!!!! Hit the nail right on the head!👤🔨Nephew that is.
Love these old movies‼️💖👍🏼🏆
A good movie to pass an early Sunday evening with. Thank you for sharing it.
What a wonderful movie! I never saw it before. Thanks!
I love the Aunts giggle throughout the movie.
They tired to stiff her she showed them!
Another great Pizza Flix posting . Thank you 👍👍 🙂
Lovely who dunnit of the old school. Well worth a look.
So, she's 65. That was OLD in '41. Man, I'm a little beyond that.
Hey. What were we talking about?
Binyon H 65 is just middle aged today!
I'm pretty sure we were talking about a movie.
But...who are you again? And how'd you get in here?
Im 94...dont feel a day over 93
SPEAK UP, SONNY!!!
Yeah,65 was old in those days.
They could have ended the movie in 5 minutes...she should have eliminated all of them from will and left it for charities. Still a great watch. Really enjoyed it.
Absolutely delightful and entertaining! They just don’t make movies like this anymore! Great to see again. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all! ❤️🌈🍀🙏🏻😇❣️
Great little mystery, love how they were able to keep it a mystery and still be humorous ... I wonder if anyone recognized Dave O'Brien (played they role Michael) he also played the role of Ralph in the now classic Reefer Madness 1936 ... It's always a great deal of fun to watch Wallace Ford ... thanks for the upload
Richard Dominguez
I did.q
So how was the farmer was able to use her money to buy his farm??? how??? HOW??? 😆
Thank you for posting this. I enjoyed this movie. Had no idea who the killer was. Nice ending.
cor8129
had it all figured out.
am good at that.
enjoyed the old rich lady with that crazy laugh of hers.
if the was sent to the nut house, the family would of been really ticked off to find out that she was rich with the wrong king of money.
I love Marion Marsh, she was one of the most beautiful actress in the 30's and she wasn't to shabby in the 40's either. This was one of her last movies. She was born in Trinidad and had that sweet little accent
Loved this movie , thanx so much for sharing❤️
These cozy mysteries are fun even though they are old and hokey. Murders in old dark houses at midnight are standard classic cinema. We humans like to be a little scared. :-)
Especially when we get to laugh a lot along the way.
*I must say, pretty good...I love a good mystery anytime. Thanks for uploading it for us*
Really love these old mysteries
Man these old movies ROCK!
The old 1970's tamil mystery film "Nadu Iravil" directed by S.Balachander resembles this movie. Most of the people thought initially that the movie was inspired by Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None". But actually the plot of that is different. It closely resembles this movie.
Silly movie, but good viewing. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for posting.
I stumbled upon this and really enjoyed it. Sarah Padden as Aunt Cassie was brilliant. That laugh got me every time and reminds me vaguely of someone else but I can't place it. Hm.
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you. 🍕
Great funny ending. I especially liked the last comment made before the credits. Though, if you don't get the reference, check on movie history when the movie was made (I hope you get it if you check).
excellent film!!!
Thoroughly enjoyable movie!
GREAT MOVIE !!! Thanks.
PizzaFlix you never disappoint, Thank you so much for this quite enjoyable post.
I have a few Walter Houston movies, including this one, The Treasure Of Sierra Madre, Outlaw. Dodsworth, The Devil and Daniel Webster. Great films.
65 and old good grief that means I am ancient.
27 years until Ill turn 65, but I already feel old and tired of everything 🥵
* Poppycock * was such a wonderful expression. Funny movie. Love the reference to "The Cat and the Canary" :D "Deducting... you sound like a millionaire making out his taxes" "The Father of our Country slept here" What another.. the father of our country sure got around. "Its a cinch"
It's been a very long time since I laughed so much! Wonderful film
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you. 🍕🍕🍕
Another great old .movie
Noir movies are the best. Captivating.
Had never heard of this and was beyond enthralled!! Thanks
thanks for sharing
I enjoyed this movie. Had no idea who the killer was. Nice ending.
Well I happen to like her laugh because it irritates other people,
but I think the best scene in this movie is in the beginning when she makes her nephew look like an ass when he's trying to be a lawyer. And there's no way in hell she is insane the kids just want all the money [ And thanks, this movie made me laugh my ass off ]
I'm liking it too.
it sounds like elaine paige
Young people always want old people's money. They think they are entitled to it. I'm giving my money to charity.
Great acting in the courtroom... well done!
Loved it thank you
I , honestly, love this kind off movies. Congratulations .you know how to work .
One of my crazy favorites. You did it again! Thanks
Kept me intrigued until the very end.
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you.
wow, he broke the fourth wall! cool movie, i hate to think of all the secret passages destroyed though...
What a cute movie! Saving to favorites. Thanks for the upload!💙
I love Classics movie😎👍✌💖💗🕵️♂️
I liked the twist in the end. Thank you PizzaFlix!
A great old old murder mystery too bad they are not made now days
Good little movie. Big fan of Wally Ford who although Canadian was adept at playing fast talking Americans.
I'm only nine minutes in and for some reason it feels longer, but in a good way. It's steady and a cute little movie, so far.
We all need more of this
What a delightful movie! Thanks for posting.
: that was fun 😊
_I have to “take” 💊 two movies 🎥 to wash all the craziness of the day away! 🦠 One in the morning and another right before bed - it does the trick_
What a fun and self aware movie and I always enjoy seeing Herb Vigran :-)
I liked the reference to the censorship on how long people could be seen kissing nonstop.
The code was no kiss longer than 3 seconds. The studios liked it because it shut-up those who wanted "realism" in the love scenes and like the EPA's miles-per-gallon lies, it "saved time" over a period of "x" years.
I love a good mystery...
Love this movie. Thanks for posting.
Entertaining romp thanks for posting.
I love her laugh!!
The laugh both amused me and creeped me out lol.
This was fun thanks for the content...💚
Gave away $500.00 ? This was 1941.. Thanks for the upload..xd
This is a wonderful film, thank you
Delightful movie! What witty dialogue throughout!!
Why does she do that laugh all time time 😂
It's a form of mockery. Was actually rather common decades ago.
Great nighttime Felix, thanks Pizza Flixs👍🏾🤦🏽♀️🙋🏽
I love this very funny!! ❤️❤️👍👵🏻
I Really Enjoyed Movie😄 Thank You For Sharing 😄
