Some Chinese sets are horrible to this, but on Aliexpress there are some cheap tanks that are actually good. I found an M2 Stuart (all Lego pieces) and an British Matilda tank.

I really like the design of the tank and how it's turret and tracks actually move. My favorite detail is the simple .50 cal machine gun. Keep it up mate!!!:) (BTW, I like option 2, cause it makes it look realistic.)

This build is awesome! I think it scales much better with mini figs than other models and it’s pretty cheap to get the parts.
I built this model and it looks great! Good Job!
If you use the tire wheel method, do not push the wheels all the way to the end of the axle. It makes the treads go inverted and makes it so they don't roll very well. Ideally you want to push the wheels out a little bit on the axle so they line up with the treads.

I think there is one possible improvement for this and it would be the turret traverse piece you used a standard 2 by 2piece but you could have used a 4 by 4 piece that connects to a circular 4 by 4 base plate instead they are a lot more sturdy and harder to knock off ( the other pieces will break before it comes off). And I would not know if they are hard to come by or that they do not have a grey color or even it just does not work with your design but if possible see if it would be able to be implemented into future versions of this amazing model

In the video of the battle of bulge you can see that the tank has a small antenna behind the hatch in the turret and in the video you did not put it on
And that is my question if the antenna goes with the tank or did you just put it on for decoration?

Turns out those axle pins holding all the wheels usually only come in tan. Getting them in light bluish gray (the color in this video) is actually super expensive. For buying from the US, for enough to do this model $32 to be exact(not including shipping).
