Excellent review. Right now this is my favorite stem-style earbuds. They have beat the Donner Dobuds, Sudio A2, and recently the Moondrop Neocake. Main winning things were fit, audio quality, and app interface/interaction. Thx!
Thank you for your support sunil. I seem to keep forgetting to add the links to the music I mention in reviews. I'll try to keep that in mind going forward. I know that there are a few people who like to listen to the tracks I mention.
i had the same problem with the noise in the right earbud and the solution is that you have to tap it quite hard and then reset them both and then tap the case. It worked for me but try it out for yourself
One doubt , If the last paired device is not in bluetooth range, could we still switch to second paired device OR switching device is possible only if it is in connected state ?
@@PaulsPOVThank you. But very sorry, not clear. /Press and hold either bud (in powered-on status) for 3s to reconnect to the previous device./ My doubt is, If I connect the buds to laptop and I switched off the laptop. In this scenario, if I press and hold buds for 3 second what will happen ? Will it switch to the second device which was already paired before? Thanks.
Remain connected ?It is connected to Laptop now and I switch off the laptop and hence it lost connection. Then if I press and hold the button, it will switch to the other paired device right? The reason I ask is I am using realme neck band which will switch device only if it is connected to one device. If we disconnect from one device and switch, switching wont happen, we need to manually connect.. Thanks.
Guess I am going for These, though they were released a way back, yet I am finding these better than my Oppo enco Air2 pro. Thanks @Paul's POV Sir for this great Review.
@@deepsoni4 Sir, I agree OPPO ENCO AIR 2Pro is ONE OF THE BEST BUDS IN THIS RANGE. Hehe.. I stumbled upon this video after a year from when it was made and it looks like the noise issue persists with the OnePlus Buds Z2. I purchased mine last week and found the left eardbud making that noise. Looks like these come by default at the highest ANC setting and following the advise of the author, the noise actually disappeared after I switched off ANC. Thank you, I found this video helpful.
If your unit is over a year old, you won't be able to claim warranty on it, most likely. But, OnePlus has been replacing these units under a manufacturing defect. ANC isn't supposed to do this.
I'm also face that problem. I don't know why it's happening. I hear some static noise and a hissing sound. But after 10-15mins it stops sometimes, I mean sometimes. But when I switch between the ANC and Transparency Mode or if I change the song, it starts again and sometimes it irritates me alot.
I had a pair of Z2s and they worked absolutely perfectly. Then I lost them, but i loved them so much that I bought a new pair - this new pair has the white nose issue in the right ear bud :(
One doubt , If the last paired device is not in bluetooth range, could we still switch to second paired device OR switching device is possible only if it is in connected state ?
I actually waited for 6 months to pass, before buying these, since many people had faced issues with HISSING sound and finally this is my satisfactory post on this Video after my almost 1 months of usage of OnePlus Buds Z2... Well now it has been almost a month that I have been using *OnePlus Buds Z2.* After using Oppo Enco Air2 Pro I was not to sure if the sound of OnePlus Z2 would also be as good *but surprisingly it did not let me down.* *SOUND:* The Bass, Mids and the treble, all are *balanced* tho yes, I am not an Audiophile, but being a layman, I had to make some changes in the Equalizer in the Dolby settings of my OnePlus 7 device. Otherwise also there is a dedicated Equaliser, with 4 inbuilt settings and a Few Customisable ones, which are given in the Bluetooth settings /app of Oneplus Z2, Tho I didn't tamper with that. ( _Having 2 equalisers doing the same kind of stuff differently would render the entire excercise useless._ ) My usage is primarily Netflix, Prime Videos, UA-cam and a little bit of UA-cam music and Jio Saavn, apart from calls when I am driving. *VOLUME:* *On all the above video apps and music apps the volume is sufficient enough at around 50 to 55%...* In fact during the night when I am lying in the bed and watching a movie on Netflix it is even slightly below 50%. Amazon Prime volume has to be kept around 60-70 % which is an Amazon Videos issue... *Regarding the sound and Clarity..ITS SIMPLY AMAZING..* *BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT BASS:* Truthfully the True Deep Bass is *felt* ( and Not just heard) somewhere inside a space in my head which is the good thing and it is not at all hurting... Nor does it cause headache. *Voice Calls:* Most of the time I have asked the question from the person at the other end during a phone call and *he is not able to make out if I am on the regular phone or using earbuds, earphones, Tws.* This clearly means that the 3 + 3 microphones are doing a wonderful job. *ENC:* When I am using a hair dryer and making a call, the person on the other and has never complained... and let me remind you that *environmental noise cancellation is automatic* and no button needs to be activated during a voice call. *BATTERY:* On the battery front, OnePlus Buds Z2, I have done 2-3 tests, (the same as well as Oppo Enco Air2 Pro also) and this gave a flat 1 hour extra than Oppo... which is 7 hours+ of playback at a volume of around 50% to 60%. Oppo had given me 6+ hrs. *HISSING?? NOT AT ALL !!:* Coming to the issue of the *hissing sound* of the noise cancellation which *PAUL SIR* had faced truthfully *I did not face any such issue* but then I have never opted for *noise cancellation* much, because somewhere it interferes in the frequency of the music and the movies and I want my sound to be absolutely unaltered. I have kept all *touch controls* , transparency and noise cancellation OFF
Dude..u are like a god for me. I was very much worried as I was planning on buying Z2 as I have 7t.. But most of the people were telling that Enco is better in sound.. I am just waiting for few days since most of the user are facing crackling sound. Can u pls tell me more about Equalizer.. I was also thinking that there have to be something which can reduce tha bass.. Also from where did you bought it as I don't want the hissing sound..
@@the_oxiboy indeed Paul sir is the best one when it comes to complete dissection of any kind of sound related product. Coincidentally I am using both Oppo and well as oneplus BudsZ2. The sound of Oppo Enco Air2 Pro is equally good and not at all compromising in any place. Hardly any difference in battery life and both bass and treble are remarkably balanced. Only that OnePlus Buds Z2 is slightly expensive. One more thing and that is that I purchased oneplus buds Z2 just 2 months ago and *not facing any hissing problem.*

Hi Paul Your reviews are really good, Among oppo enco air 2 pro, realme buds 3 and oneplus z2 which one is best for Webex, Teams or Skype call (with background noise cancellation). Also mention if any other better option within 6000
Hi pritam, I havent done tests with specific apps. I do however have the audio samples of these earphones you've mentioned in their indepth reviews or comparisons. Feel free to give them a look. In the sub 6k bracket I've always quite liked the Nothing Ear 1 for its sound quality in particular.
I only use tws when I'm in clg or other places... I prefer wired earphone mostly...z2 is my 1st tws and I've used this for almost 1 year... Good ANC, sound quality is good but bass is highly boosted it doesn't feel like real bass (in my opinion) and i didn't feel the white noise you mentioned... Very sensitive control little movement can turn off your anc and pause the music which is annoying...design looks premium tbh as a bass lover I'll still prefer other earbuds like sony cf5000 and 7000 .... Overall good tws
Yeah bro i just bought one and from the start iam having problem with anc in my left ear it's some sort of hissing sound idk why but i had marked my item for replace
Hey Paul , firstly i'd like to say your reviews are amazing and i love watching your channel. Secondly , I was planning on buying tws earbuds within 6k and my 2 main priorities are 1) great comfort and 2) balanced sound , so which earbuds would you suggest ?
Hi Atul and thank you ever so much for your words of kindness and also thank you for your support. The last earphones I've tested, the JBL 230 NC I feel are the best earphones I've tested within that budget. They have honestly left me quite surprised with their over all sound. I find them relatively comfortable but sometimes feel as if the left earbud feels slightly loose. This maybe because my left ear is slightly smaller than the right ear. They do sit securely though and haven't fallen out during sitting or brisk walks. The eartips are nice and soft. They also have EQ modes and also a manual option which you can get quite into detail with. Hope this helps.
Very genuine review.. that buzzing sound is manufacturing defect with almost every buds z2 , I have replaced my buds once from care but still there is a bit buzzing sound, still OnePlus has not come forward to solve it #oneplusindia #oneplus
I brought this buds on Amazon but with my 1st buds there is hissing issue so as i watched your video a week ago i replaced it but they gave me refund and then i buy same buds again this time hissing issue is not there so my question to you sir can i "update" heymelody app update??? Because i don't want this issue faced again please help
There's no knowing if an updated firmware will bring that issue out again or not. I'd say avoid updating them if they're working fine. A lot of people have had their replacement units and even new units have that very issue over and over again. You seem to have gotten lucky with a unit that works without any hissing. Keep a ear our for it though. For some units it takes some time to start showing up then keeps getting louder over time.
If they're working fine you don't need to really, unless of course there are new features available through the app. But an update could always risk introducing new issues with any device. Something to keep in mind.
Hi! Watching your review got myself an Oppo Air 2 pro. SQ seems nice (although nothing close to my Blon-03 paired with VE Odyssey)... But the fit is too annoying. I mean the left ear hole is paining for any allignment.. Hence decided to return this. Would be great if you could recommend any alternative within 5k range for a better fit and similar or better SQ! Thanks!
Hi Bijoy, I doubt most TWS earphones would be able to stand up against your Blon unless they're over 5k...maybe. TWS earphones are usually a compromise on sound. I have had the very same issue with the left earbud with the oppo as well as the reapme buds air 3. Very strange. I've been enjoying the Nothing Ear 1 for sometime now and some viewers have told me that they've managed to get them for 4999 at times. Try and give them a listen if possible.
@@PaulsPOV on a second note, would like to know you've checked Pixel Buds A and if yes, feedback regarding that. Also, any other good recommendation under 10k...
Sadly I haven't tested those yet but I've heard good things about them. Of all the earphones I've tested lately the Nothings have remained my favorite so far but I'm planning on reviewing the JBL 230NC soon as quite a few people have requested for that review.
That's how mine started. The buzzing continues later on. A lot of people are having this problem. I suggest you hand them into the service center for a replacement and make sure to check the replacement unit before leaving. Some people have taken replacements from Amazon and gotten another unit with the same problem.

OnePlus should replace your unit at their service center. My unit was replaced. Make sure to check the replacement unit when you receive them before leaving the service center.
🌟these kind of reviews are expecting from reviewer🌟 rather than reading website specifications. 😄 1) i had the same issue you mentioned, right side bud noise issue, got them replaced by brand new. 2) while using low volume (1st stage of volume) specifically at night are very high like you said compared to other ear buds... again 😊 glad to view a honest hands on experience review.
still I'm having doubt that my earbud is still defective, i have facing three of these problems. 1) firmware seems unable, for eg; sometimes earbud battery percentage will stuck at 30% but can be used buds as usual, sometimes charging case battery percentage also showing incorrect percentages... 2) look like my new earbuds not suppressing noise as previous one, required another different pair of buds to test it. 3) sometimes noise cancelling shifting to normal mode automatically. ( the problem was already had on previous one)
yeah definitely, i have to replace it again... but need to test the noise cancelling issue and give them proof.. otherwise they will reject the warranty claim.
Hey paul! Can i use each of the earbuds separately or only one of them? My previous jabra elite 65t used a master slave connection approach which meant that i could only use the right earbud independently since the left one didn’t pair with the phone directly. Please reply asap :D
Hi Arshdeep. I just checked to he certain...yes, you can use these as mono earbuds either left or right. They pair independently to the phone. Strange that the Jabras don't have this feature. I have an old set of bose earphones that do the same.
@@PaulsPOV i have a budget of 5k(stretchable to around 5.5k if the product is worth it),which tws earbuds would you suggest? I was eyeing OP buds z2 and jbl 230nc(the black variant’s price just went up by 1k) Please suggest between these two or any other product. ANC and good battery life are non negotiable
So I've always preferred the Nothings over the Z2, purely because their performance with sound has been better defined and more enjoyable to me. The Z2 have always been a bit too bass heavy for my taste. So I'm actually in the process of finishing up a comparison video between the Nothing VS the JBL. Hopefully going live by Friday. As a teaser I can say that it's a very close competition between the two.
@@PaulsPOV other than the bass heavy part is there anything which would make you not wanna buy the z2? The nothing ear 1 are out of my budget(7k) so there’s no point in setting my heart on it. The only other option than z2 and 230nc is the realme air 3.
Yea I noticed they've shot the price up recently. Makes no sense at that price honestly. I'd say the JBL is certainly value for money although the Z2 has fallen to 3500 at times I think. The Z2 are a nice set all in all, it's just been the bass heaviness that's kept me from using them regularly. They've got multi device pairing in a sense. The Buds Air 3 aren't bad, I was impressed with them at their price but if you're going to use them for calls, that's a big NO for them. They perform very badly there.
I have bought the buds z2 and I am facing the ANC white noise issue. Rest everything is fine.---- should I replace it or let it be like that , plz reply sir.

Of the few I've tested, I found that the Nothing Ear 1 and JBL 230NC performed well for calls. Their ANC are similar too. Feel free to watch this video, the call chapter should help you understand how clearly your recipients will hear you. ua-cam.com/video/02oj56RyONs/v-deo.html Hope it helps.

The Z2's bass is quite obnoxious sounding compared to the air 2 pro. But, there are new EQ settings in the HeyMelody app that I've come to like. It's better structured and more pleasant on the ear when in some of those EQ modes. The Z2 is certainly a louder set of earphones. I have yet to give the air 3 pro a proper listen, but my first impressions on it is, it's not a loud set of earphones much like the air 2 pro.
The Sony isn't as feature packed as the other two but does sound good. I heard it briefly and quite liked the C500 but haven't had the chance to compare it to the JBL and OnePlus. Sound wise I prefer the JBL to the OnePlus, it's better defined and not bass heavy. The Z2 is a bit too forward on the bass front for my taste.
Oneplus has taken the unit in for replacement but it's taking some time because of a stock shortage. They acknowledged that it is a manufacturing defect.
Sir i bought mine one month before it was working fine but the only issue was when i connect with msi laptop for video purpose it makes more crackling sound in voice then i tried with hp laptop it was some low in crackling noise...What kind of issue is this ?do you face this situation sir 😷
I havent experienced this specific issue with my unit. Try doing a reset, if the reset doesn't sort it out, it's worthwhile visiting a service center with your laptop to show them the issue. Ideally if they can't sort it out, they should give you a fresh piece. This shouldn't work like this.
One thing to keep in mind...I did have a strange hissing issue with my first set that OnePlus acknowledged as being a manufacturing defect which they did replace after two weeks of handing in the original set. A few other people have had the same issue and a software update hasn't fixed the same problem for others. I'm hoping you get a set that doesn't have this issue because that run around to replace them can be a pain.
@@PaulsPOV Paul thanks again for the video. I thought like this problem exists with only my unit. If you find anything about it ,please do update us too. Thanks again.
After speaking to someone on their toll free number I was told that it's most likely a manufacturing defect which means it's eligible for a replacement. I'll ve going to their store to see what they say after they get their hands on it.

Thanks for letting me know. I thought I was the only person. I haven't found anything about it online yet. Will be contacting them to find out about a fix or replacement.
They don't have simultaneously pairing, sadly. But they switch over from one device to another at a time. The only set I've used that has simultaneously pairing is the Realme Buds Air3.

I've started avoiding earphones under 3k because I had the same issues in the long run. Usually 4k onward has better build and tends to carry you for atleast a year. I also avoid earphones that have anything less than a 1yr warranty. It's worthwhile doing the research to see how certain companies handle their after sales. You don't want to be stuck with a dud set of earphones right? I've had a few like that after reviews where the manufacturer doesn't reply to mails or even answer calls.
Call OnePlus helpline number, they're usually very helpful. You might need to get a replacement unit if this is a manufacturing defect. Before you call them, try and do a soft reset. I'm happy to help. Check and see if there's a hissing noise with the ANC on. A lot of people were facing this issue. Its possible OnePlus took these units backs to fix the issue and may be repackaging them. I'm only speculating, but if they aren't functioning as they should, have them replaced.
@@PaulsPOV there's no hissing noise with or without ANC , everything working flawlessly for now, just the right side bud battery drains faster, I think that's expected.I saw it on OnePlus community posts that whichever bud latches first with the phone drains faster. anyways but this device name got me skeptical , and I checked with OnePlus , they asked to check with Flipkart as I bought it from flipkart. Now I am in two minds whether I should replace /return or continue with these
It might be a headache to deal with flipkart. If it's working alright it's worthwhile holding onto them. If the bud is draining faster but within 5% of the other one it should be alright. If it's over 10% then that could be something to be concerned about.
It does, but these have been giving a few people a hissing ANC issue so I wouldn't reccomend them. OnePlus hasn't been able to sort this issue out yet.

Bro i just purchased these today only and after using them for few minutes right side of the buds started making loud beeping sound and after that my right bud volume came down as much as that i could clearly hear my left bud overpowering the right one so what could be the reason behind that beep sound and what can or what should i do now ? I'm more disappointed than you brother because I'm having problems with a 5k rs buds the same day i purchased them 😢
Hi Gurinder. Don't stress out about it just yet. Try and do a reset from the case. Pressing and holding the reset/sync button until the LED light flashes red a few times should do the trick. If the problem continues even after resetting the earphones, its worthwhile either returning them or going to OnePlus and asking for a replacement. My unit was replaced after they acknowledged that the hissing was infact a manufacturing defect.

I also noticed the same.
Excellent review. Right now this is my favorite stem-style earbuds. They have beat the Donner Dobuds, Sudio A2, and recently the Moondrop Neocake. Main winning things were fit, audio quality, and app interface/interaction. Thx!

i had the same problem with the noise in the right earbud and the solution is that you have to tap it quite hard and then reset them both and then tap the case. It worked for me but try it out for yourself
One doubt , If the last paired device is not in bluetooth range, could we still switch to second paired device OR switching device is possible only if it is in connected state ?
It needs to be within BT range for the earbuds to latch on. If it isn't, it will stay connected to your primary device.
@@PaulsPOVThank you. But very sorry, not clear.
/Press and hold either bud (in powered-on status) for 3s to reconnect to the previous device./
My doubt is,
If I connect the buds to laptop and I switched off the laptop. In this scenario, if I press and hold buds for 3 second what will happen ? Will it switch to the second device which was already paired before? Thanks.
It will look for your laptop. If the laptop isn't found, it will remain connected to the device it's currently connected to.
Thanks.

@@deepsoni4 Sir,
I agree OPPO ENCO AIR 2Pro is ONE OF THE BEST BUDS IN THIS RANGE.
But in my personal case, EVEN THOUGH WE ARE OPPO DISTRIBUTORS, Its all matter of choice. 50% Volume of Oneplus BudsZ2 is close to 80-90 on Oppo Enco Air2 pro.
I am using Oppo since two months.
*Of what use are they to a person who is driving on a noisy road and cannot hear properly...*
Most importantly *THE THREE MIC SETUP ON ONEPLUS DELIVERS CLEARER SOUND TO THE OTHER PERSON AT THE OTHER END OF THE CALL EVEN IN TRAFFIC* compared to Oppo.

Thank you so much for that amazing Call Clarity Review.
Yup that's the exact same issue I had. They acknowledged it as being a manufacturing defect and replaced my earphones. I suggest you do the same.
@@PaulsPOV Is that problem solved with your new replaced buds Z2??
Yes, new ones working well.
Same issue for me as suggested i have also sent it for replacement
Can we replace at service center?
I had a pair of Z2s and they worked absolutely perfectly. Then I lost them, but i loved them so much that I bought a new pair - this new pair has the white nose issue in the right ear bud :(
This hissing issue is quite wide spread. I'm surprised OnePlus isn't addressing it.

@@PaulsPOV Who knew sharing a room together would give you a solid follower/fan :P. At least we didn't touch tips.
Hey hey, it's only fabulous if the balls touch. So we good.
I actually waited for 6 months to pass, before buying these, since many people had faced issues with HISSING sound and finally this is my satisfactory post on this Video after my almost 1 months of usage of OnePlus Buds Z2...
Well now it has been almost a month that I have been using *OnePlus Buds Z2.*
After using Oppo Enco Air2 Pro I was not to sure if the sound of OnePlus Z2 would also be as good *but surprisingly it did not let me down.*
*SOUND:*
The Bass, Mids and the treble, all are *balanced* tho yes, I am not an Audiophile, but being a layman, I had to make some changes in the Equalizer in the Dolby settings of my OnePlus 7 device.
Otherwise also there is a dedicated Equaliser, with 4 inbuilt settings and a Few Customisable ones, which are given in the Bluetooth settings /app of Oneplus Z2, Tho I didn't tamper with that.
( _Having 2 equalisers doing the same kind of stuff differently would render the entire excercise useless._ )
My usage is primarily Netflix, Prime Videos, UA-cam and a little bit of UA-cam music and Jio Saavn, apart from calls when I am driving.
*VOLUME:*
*On all the above video apps and music apps the volume is sufficient enough at around 50 to 55%...*
In fact during the night when I am lying in the bed and watching a movie on Netflix it is even slightly below 50%.
Amazon Prime volume has to be kept around 60-70 % which is an Amazon Videos issue...
*Regarding the sound and Clarity..ITS SIMPLY AMAZING..*
*BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT BASS:*
Truthfully the True Deep Bass is *felt* ( and Not just heard) somewhere inside a space in my head which is the good thing and it is not at all hurting... Nor does it cause headache.
*Voice Calls:*
Most of the time I have asked the question from the person at the other end during a phone call and *he is not able to make out if I am on the regular phone or using earbuds, earphones, Tws.*
This clearly means that the 3 + 3 microphones are doing a wonderful job.
*ENC:*
When I am using a hair dryer and making a call, the person on the other and has never complained... and let me remind you that *environmental noise cancellation is automatic* and no button needs to be activated during a voice call.
*BATTERY:*
On the battery front, OnePlus Buds Z2, I have done 2-3 tests, (the same as well as Oppo Enco Air2 Pro also) and this gave a flat 1 hour extra than Oppo... which is 7 hours+ of playback at a volume of around 50% to 60%.
Oppo had given me 6+ hrs.
*HISSING?? NOT AT ALL !!:*
Coming to the issue of the *hissing sound* of the noise cancellation which *PAUL SIR* had faced truthfully *I did not face any such issue* but then I have never opted for *noise cancellation* much, because somewhere it interferes in the frequency of the music and the movies and I want my sound to be absolutely unaltered.

Oh good that you got them replaced. Enjoy your new earphones Sangeeth47!

The good news is you have a valid warranty for a whole year so if you feel these are defected and so does OnePlus, they'll give you a fresh piece.
yeah definitely, i have to replace it again... but need to test the noise cancelling issue and give them proof.. otherwise they will reject the warranty claim.

How does the bass compare to Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro? What about Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro?

The ANC is controlled via the earphones or its app. I wouldn't reccomend this OnePlus Buds Z2. A lot of people are facing an ANC hissing issue with their units even after replacement. Best to avoid.
I was facing a problem with the left ear unit. Some cracking noise when nose cancellation mode is on. I have replaced it with a new one Still the problem contiy. Now it is with the right ear unit
Bro what did you do I have the same issue now
Hey Paul hi
Coming to the point even I am having the issue with the left earbud on noise cancellation did you find out any solution
Can I know it
Call the OnePlus toll free number. They'll guide you basis where you reside. They were very helpful with me and replaced my unit. Replace unit works fine, not having the same hissing issue with it.
I just bought one today I to have the same issue with right side
Thanks for letting me know. I thought I was the only person. I haven't found anything about it online yet. Will be contacting them to find out about a fix or replacement.
I just got it today from Flipkart. I do have the issue that we're speaking about, what could be done regarding the issue ?
i also have the same problem but its in left piece
Hand it in for a replacement. It's a manufacturing defect.
@@PaulsPOV Did got it?
sir i got the same issue of sound quality
after reclaim of new pair its still there
which one will you recommend One plus Z or Nothing Ear 1?
I'm working on a comparison of the two. Will be listening to them back to back before I decide.
@@PaulsPOV what about your suggestion??
Anc is not working in my z2 after a month 🤔🤔🤔
Are these earbuds connect both mobile and pc at a time?
They don't have simultaneously pairing, sadly. But they switch over from one device to another at a time. The only set I've used that has simultaneously pairing is the Realme Buds Air3.
@@PaulsPOV Any Earbud with Dolby Atmos and Mobile + PC connect at a time, ANC + Google Assistant
hi Paul....Lets make it short....Nothing ear1 or Ear stick Better ? or the OnePlus Z2 ? secondly WHICH oneplus earbuds z2 colour should i go for ? i mean i like both
Nothing Ear 1 and Stick have different t experiences. I prefer the 1 over the stick. I also prefer it over the Z2.
Colour preference is all up to you. Black tends to show scratches worse over time.
@@PaulsPOV now no hope of getting Nothing ear 1? should i keep waiting for it to come back in Stock ?
Have a look at the LG FP5. Impressive set for the price. Mt indepth review is somewhere in a Playlist.
@@PaulsPOV nothing ear1 is jst so premium looking....do u think it will come back on Flipkart soon ?
also it there anyway i can grab the NOTHING EAR 1 now ?
It's difficult to get your hands on them right now because stocks are all out. I do prefer the sound of the LG FP5 to them but if looks are your thing, it might make sense to wait it out and see if they are going to replenish stocks.
When I am activating the noise cancellation mode of one plus plus z2 earbuds. Then a crackling sound is coming from the right airbuds. Some wind speed type. So is it normal or damage ?? Reply pls
Manufacturing defect. One Plus took mine in to replace them, I suggest you do the same.
Same issues I hv what to do
Hi Vimesh. I took my set to a OnePlus service center. They had it replaced. The new pair doesn't have the same problem.
@@PaulsPOV i am in kannur.oneplus service centre available in kannur?
Try calling their helpline number and finding out. They're very helpful.
I recently got these ear buds having same issue getting some kind of distortion sound not with the right ear piece but with the left one any troubleshoot please update.
Try getting them replaced. Check the replacement ones before leaving the store. A lot of people are facing this issue and some OP service centers are refusing to honor their warranty and replace the unit.

Hey my left earbud is facing an issue. I am hearing an sound while playing something in the noice cancellation mode. Is there any way i can solve this issue.?
Hey are you facing this issue now? I bought this today i have this issue. Any idea?
@@wykaavivekrnair666 from which website you bought these?
Single earbud use krne pe anc kaam nhi krta kya...?
No. Both need to be worn for ANC to be on.
Does the dolby atmos work in non oneplus smartphones in these buds?
I am using buds Z with iphone. I am not able to use all the features. 😒
Sir what should I buy one plus buds z2 , oppo enco 51 , realme buds air 3 or nothing ear 1 ...... Please suggest the one with best call quality, the one which has the most detailed sound quality ( I don't need much bass) and the best ANC and with the leat possible manufacturing issue
It just so happens I've reviewed all these earphones, you can have a look at my indepth reviews of them and comparisons as well. If you're not into too much bass, forget about the Z2, those are way too bass heavy. I'd say it's between the W51 & Nothings for you. Keep in mind the Nothings do have a connectivity issue but it's not as bad as it uses to be. Check out my comparison between the W51 & Nothing, hope it helps you make a decision.
@@PaulsPOV they just happen to be my first anc buds as a gift for finishing my board exams...... Tbh I have orders many buds under 3000 in these past two years and returned all of them for the manufacturing defects.....
Individual reviews aren't working for me as they won't say if they will give me any software or manufacturing defects after a usage of a month or so .... I just want them to be the best with the least possible problems ..... Btw I love ur videos and just subscribed
@@PaulsPOV then coz of ur saying I thing I'll go with the oppo w 51 ...... Hope they r great pair even after like 18 months
Just not sure where to buy them coz like they r out of stock in the digital market 🤣
Bro getting the same problem...just asked for replacement..any update from OnePlus why was it happening.
They never gave a reason for it, but I suspect it was batch related since not too many people are complaining about it yet.
Which means it will remain the same ..as it is...
Have you tried the new one..is it giving the same sound
New ones isn't giving a buzzing/hissing sound. They gave me a fresh piece.
i had same issue, right side having noise issue, i claimed warranty and got them replaced with brand new piece..
Do the new ones work perfectly or do they also make sounds ?
Cos even my z2 buds hv the same issue, i just got it today

Hello sir my right and left buds there is touch problem it works when i touch it 10 to 15 times on the Touch what should I do
Call OnePlus helpline number, they're usually very helpful. You might need to get a replacement unit if this is a manufacturing defect. Before you call them, try and do a soft reset. Open lid> Press and hold reset button on rear side of case until LED light flashes red. If this soft reset doesn't solve your issue, call them.

My Earbuds Z2 volume is not loud I'm using other earbuds also like qcy t13 and realme buds q2 and soundpeats air 3 but this one sound very low for me is 70% volume is to get loud any suggestions please
Check your phones sound setting to dee of some sort of volume limiter is on or EQ that are engaged and switch off if it's on. If not, your earphones may be faulty and you can speak to the OnePlus Customer Care to confirm or rectify the same.
@@PaulsPOV Thanks for your reply I'll do that all this things which have mentioned in your reply
Hey Paul , great review !
Wanted a suggestion from you .
I wanted to purchase a tws for my s20 fe 5g as it doesn't have 3.5 mm headphone jack. My needs :
1) They must be comfortable while wearing for 4-5 hrs
2) Call quality must be good & tws must remove any background fan noise if it can. No robotic effect on my voice.
3) Decent sound quality.
Please reply soon, I want to buy within 2-3 days.
Hi Asish, that's a nice phone. I picked one up a few months ago and am enjoying it. I'd say it's between the Realme Buds 3, OnePlus Buds Z2 and the Nothing Ear 1 for you. Comparison goes live this evening if you're interested in watching it.
@@PaulsPOV Will surely watch it. I heard call quality is not that good in realme buds air 3 & nothing ear 1 has somewhat connectivity issues. Wanted to have something decent tws along with good call quality , comfortable earphones. If I go with one plus buds z2 , will that be the best option ? (Btw will the one plus buds z2 eliminate fan noise in background during calls , read a lot of negative reviews of it's sensitive mic in Flipkart)
You added a new subscriber today , thanks 🤗
I think I've answered all your questions in the upcoming review...if not, please feel free to ask for any more details. Always happy to help.
@@PaulsPOV Sure. Waiting for the evening review !
Bhai, same here.I am using s20 FE 5G with Soundcore liberty air 2..sound quality wise its amazing, but call quality is much pathetic.Kindly suggest which tws u are using right now.
Similar issue in the left earbud 🥲
I connected my brand new buds but it shows device name as Karthik's Oneplus buds z2. Is it by default or I got refurbished product?
Sounds like it might be refurbished. It should give you the brand and model of the earphones.
@@PaulsPOV thanks Paul , It's my first tws and got it from Flipkart yesterday. i was skeptical as soon as I saw the name but the packaging was brand new with proper box , warranty cards etc. Now Right side bud is draining unusually fast , looks like I should return /replace it now . BTW thank you for your detailed reviews , they are really helpful !
Does this work on iphone as well with all its features?
It does, but these have been giving a few people a hissing ANC issue so I wouldn't reccomend them. OnePlus hasn't been able to sort this issue out yet.
@@PaulsPOV thanks for the response.
Are they better than jbl 230nc in terms of bass?
I wouldn't say "better". These are more bloated. The 230NC is better defined and tighter in its delivery and also has better imaging than these.
@Paul's POV thank you for such a quick response..i hv jbl n want to look for good tws or over the ear headphone for bass under 10k.. gonna go for skullcandy crusher.
Let me know how they are. I have yet to review Skullcandy products.
@Paul's POV sure looking forward to it
Even iam facing the same issue of tht sound on my left ear bud broo
Oneplus replaced mine saying it is a manufacturing defect.
Left ear bud..Getting noice when I'm change the mode and noice cancellation not working well..
How do they perform with Iphone 13?
They perform so good in 13 Pro Max
@@PaulsPOV ok I'll do the factory reset and I'll update you afterwards
@@PaulsPOV Brother I'm still having that right side bud low volume problem and in ANC the right bud isn't cancelling noise properly I can still hear sounds from my right side and at first i thought that i might have have not fitted the right bud properly but then i took the earbud fitting test and it showed both my buds fitted perfectly fine now I'm starting to feel worried that there's something wrong with the buds themselves.
Worthwhile calling the OP helpline. They'll guide you accordingly. The guys I went to acknowledged that mine had a manufacturing defect and replaced them with fresh buds, no issues there. Only problem was they took some two weeks to replace them. They should do the same with you.
@@PaulsPOV ok brother you're a true reviewer and I've just subscribed you only for your honesty and the way you talk and explain everything with proofs and facts impressed me a lot.👍❤️🙌😊
How is this compare to jbl 230nc
JBL has better detailing and cleaner delivery in sound. I wouldn't reccomend the Z2 because a lot of people have been facing ANC hissing issues. Even with their replacement units. Best to avoid.
Can i connect to two mobiles simultaneously? Dual paring ?
Not simultaneously, but you can switch over to the secondary device by pressing and holding the touch area on the bud, then swap back to the primary device the same way.
@@PaulsPOV Thankyou for your reply. Can you suggest a tws or neckband or mono bluetooth headset that can connect to two phone simultaneously mainly only for calling purpose.
