I think they do because this hidden life is present in the remastered version of Toad Village. Whether they discovered this when remaking the game or from videos on UA-cam is anyone's guess.
05:12 I Never Knew about this in Crash 2 before, after years I Playing Crash Bandicoot Games, I did Not Knew about this before Now! Thank You for showing Hidden/Secret Lives of Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & 3 CrashFan95.
Ahh, Crash Crush's case is special, yes. Unlike the others, this one has absolutely zero hints pointing to its existence. Well, maybe with the exception of the camera angle upon entering the Bonus Round.
I'm so happy with the fact that I discovered every secret life in Crash 2. When I was kid I spend a lot of time searching secrets cuz I had every crystal and gem and I still not had the 100% of the game. Ahh, the memories.
I see. Sadly I can't say the same thing about me. I discovered the ones in Crash Crush and Diggin' It all by myself, but the ones with Polar were kinda pointed out to me.
Didn't know about a couple of these lives. I remember, when i was a kid, that i used to write the password to complete 100% of the game only to get that 27 lives during Green Gem path haha! Great video man, you're so professional.
Hehe, I was doing the exact same thing as well. Only difference being that I typed a password that lead me as far as Castle Machinery, collected the lives and then went back to play the already completed levels. This was part of my practicing session to become better and better on the game. Anyway, thanks a lot for the comment.
Thanks. The funny thing is that I didn't know about it either. When I went there, I thought about the one Road to Nowhere and just said: "Why not", and there it was. One of the most random discoveries I have ever done, that's for sure.
Hey Man, I wanted to *thank you* that you made these Videos, I really enjoyed them as a kid & I even could‘nt speak good english. I commented 5 years ago with pretty bad english haha. I very appreciate your work & I hope you‘ll return *Thanks for a great Childhood*
Thanks for the comment, dude. Although the reason behind the creation of this channel was never about getting as many subscribers as possible or likes on my videos for that matter. No, my only desire was to show other players my skills on Time Trial in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.
Man, I just knew about the Life in The Generator Room, the Lives in the Green Gem Path in Castle Machinery, the ten Lives gave by Polar and the Lives in Tell No Tales. The first Lives you showed for CB3 are even Invisible, so is almost impossible get them without know where they are.
That was the whole point of this video. Although, I do, however, have this strange feeling inside me, telling that these are not all hidden lives, that I may have forgotten or don't know about others. I don't know, maybe it's just because I really wanted to find and show more than there already are.
According to Thaswordster (aka OkuuGuy, ManDude, ItsBloonTasty), Eggipus Rex has several invisible lives like those in Toad Village and Tomb Time. I have no idea where they are, though I think dying a LOT might make the lives in all three of those levels visible. Also, I would argue that the four lives at the end of Sphynxinator's left path should be included. I know you probably didn't consider them hidden because they're in a split path. However, most people playing for the first time won't know how to get across the massive hole in that path (I sure didn't for some time many years ago) so I'd consider everything after that hole to be secret.
ManDude is right and now I regret so much that I didn't include Eggipus Rex in this video. After further exploration, there is, in fact, 1 hidden life in the level. It is located a little after the beginning of the second part of the level and acquired by jumping on the pterodactyl while it is on its highest point. As for Sphynxinator, I admitted that I should have included those 4 lives as well, regardless even if they are in a not so secret part of the level.
I did not know about the Road To Nowhere and Generator Room's lives. I guess I knew about the rest. Good stuff. Enjoyed this a bunch. There are 4 lives on the alternative path at the start of Sphynxinator. I'd say they count as secret lives.
I'm really glad that you enjoyed the video. I had a lot of fun making it as well. I explained to Stefano Nembrini about the lives located in Sphynxinator and why I decided not to include them, but now that I think of it, perhaps I should have, regardless how obvious they are.
I'd say they are hidden. In Dino Might, you have lives behind the metal crates so people think ''hey, that's where this path ends.'' Same here, ''the pit is too big, no way I can reach the other side'', so they walk on to the right. When we (my family and I) played Crash 3, we thought for a long time that it was impossible to reach the other side. I think more people thought the same thing. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I think they count, since the ones on Castle Machinery are also, a bit, obvious. :P
Now here, I agree. You know what I think it could have made this case more legitimate.. if Naughty Dog had originally placed Sphynxinator in the third Warp Room. That way, Crash wouldn't have had the Death Tornado Spin, hence not being able to glide over the giant hole. I believe this would have solidified the fact about these 4 lives being hidden.
Wow, that's even more attractive. One small issue, though. The level does have its own Nitro Switch Crate and the players can just simply reach the end, activate it and then come back to the beginning of the level. If they have the determination to do so, that is. :D
Those 27 extra lives actually serve as a reward to the players for reaching so far and also preparing them for the upcoming challenge that is Castle Machinery.
+Persona X Haha, "Take a Hike" is a pretty damn good reference to climbing a waterfall. Seriously dude, you have a knack of thinking such appropriate and amusing names for levels.
Hi,Stani! Great video. And the great idea of Isak, which you realized. I would like to ask you. 1. In the "Toad Village", CB3, in NTSC-U version, in the bonus, there is a box with "life",this is not in the PAL version. Is it possible to consider this life "hidden"? I do not know. XD)) 2.CB1. Level "Road To Nowhere". Is it possible to count as hidden lives what is on the "Death path"? When the hidden boxes with the mask Aku and 3 lives of Crash are activated? 3. Again, CB3. Level 6. There is a possible to made trick at the beginning of the level, with 2 frogs. When Crash already has a "Death Tornado". Here can get an extra life. Is this life "hidden"? It I also do not know))
Thank you, my friend. As always, I appreciate your comments and opinion on my videos. However, regarding your suggestions: 1) - This is just a part of the general differences between NTSC and PAL. I don't think it should be considered as "hidden". 2) - In the beginning of the video, I mentioned that I will not include lives of this type. Yes, these ones in the Red Gem path in Road to Nowhere are indeed hidden at first sight, but they are also inside crates, count towards the box completion and are required for the Box Gem. If I had to include all the lives that are acquired in this manner, I would have played throughout most of the paths in the first game. 3) - This is just a part of the chain reaction. As you know, if you jump on enemies a few consecutive times, you will receive Wumpa Fruit and eventually a Life. The same thing goes for spinning enemies into each other.
+CrashFan95 By the way, I forgot to tell you. You gave a great advertisement for Isak's channel. I fully support this and also I sometimes do it, for ours friends. For example, I often watch Isak's channel, for training, although I play well in CB4. There wonderful videos, in CB4 for learning. My 8:68 in "Bamboozled", recently - mainly the merit of Isak, his help is simply invaluable.
Yes, it's important for people to give credit to those who have contributed in some way to their videos, even if it's on a small degree. That's the true sign of a companionship.
Technically I should know all of these, but the Generator Room one I'm not sure, as I've ran past that spot with Aku Aku many times, but it feels new to me. In other levels where there's placement like that I usually get it with Aku Aku since I usually have it.
The one in Generator Room surprised me when I discovered it as I wasn't aware of its existence prior to making this video. After reading your comment, I'm actually quite puzzled that I wasn't able to find it earlier, given the fact that it is possible to have an Aku Aku invincibility at this point in the level, and its range could easily reach that Life.
Good point. Unfortunately, lately I have been having absolutely no desire to do anything whatsoever regarding new videos. Furthermore, if I were to do this, I would have to study every single level from head to toe which would take a lot of time, and I don't have much due to other issues.
The secret life in Toad Village and the two in Tomb Time blew me away! Great video buddy :)
Thanks, man.
I don't think Vicarious Visions knew about that hidden life in Toad Village.
How would anyone know?
I think they do because this hidden life is present in the remastered version of Toad Village. Whether they discovered this when remaking the game or from videos on UA-cam is anyone's guess.

Thanks, dude. I genuinely appreciate the concern after all these years.
you need more subs for these videos , great job man

I think there was a hidden extra life in the level Spaced Out from Crash Bandicoot 2, in an area above some floating platform
Yes, I remember this platform, but I think there are only Wumpa Fruit above it. I will check it out again just to be sure.
Thanks for showing us all the secret lives location in all 3 crash games ! Cool video
My pleasure. Thanks for the comment.
CrashFan95 no problem

Yup, that would be a good idea. Or they could've had a few walls of nitros so you would be forced to have the bazooka.
Wow, that's even more attractive. One small issue, though. The level does have its own Nitro Switch Crate and the players can just simply reach the end, activate it and then come back to the beginning of the level. If they have the determination to do so, that is. :D
Thought I'd know all of these, including the invisible ones - Nope, Crash Crush was a new one, well done :)
Thanks for the comment, dude. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and learned something new.
There are so many lives I have never ever seen. And the Green Gem feels like a cheat code.
Those 27 extra lives actually serve as a reward to the players for reaching so far and also preparing them for the upcoming challenge that is Castle Machinery.
+OfficerAPC I, on the other hand, always thought that they are more like for The Lab, considering how hard was the level for me back in the days.
Except for the fact that the green gem skips the level. It'd make sense if it were the beta, where Stormy Ascent existed.
Speaking of cut content, I feel as if Take A Hike would be a great name for the cut Waterfall level.
+Persona X Haha, "Take a Hike" is a pretty damn good reference to climbing a waterfall. Seriously dude, you have a knack of thinking such appropriate and amusing names for levels.

I'll need to check a few save states now, as I've done some emulation and I use save states as saves for some reason.
I'm not sure how gamers were to find some of the lives in Crash 3. Going to have try some of them out!
I agree, the ones in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped are the real definition of the word secret, especially those in Toad Village and Tomb Time.
On the crash crush I had find it unintentionally
Likewise.
Cool video
Thanks for the comment!
What about crash bandicoot n sane trilogy?
Good point. Unfortunately, lately I have been having absolutely no desire to do anything whatsoever regarding new videos. Furthermore, if I were to do this, I would have to study every single level from head to toe which would take a lot of time, and I don't have much due to other issues.
?Are they in n.sane
N. Sanely good, might I add.

hussien gamer-24 حسين جيمر

hussien gamer-24 حسين جيمر some are, but I know the first one in great gate isn't
Just pointing it out:
When you said "row" in this video, you meant "column."
You're right. That's actually the more appropriate word for it. Damn, what a stupid mistake I made. Thanks for correcting me, dude.
Is all right.
