Many many thanks for talking about Darren Hayes and his music, actually I think a lot of people still don't know who is Darren Hayes, Although some of Savage Garden's songs are so popular. But Darren is so underrated. This song specifically, is gorgeous, it gives me chills and makes me cry of it's beauty. It is really " So Beautiful". Thank you again :)

Most people know Savage Garden released only two albums, but a third one named, ''Truly Madly Completely" was also released which had their best hits and a few unreleased tracks. ''So Beautiful" was a part of it. Thanks for reviewing this one.
This wasn't unreleased it was a completely new solo song to promote the compilation
Loved the Savage Garden videos but I've absolutely been waiting and hoping you'd do his solo work. It's absolutely my favorite, it's such a shame it doesn't get more love because it's not, "Main stream" he started really writing his own messages in his songs about his depression, sexuality, etc and it absolutely is so amazing his best work.
I've heard Darren say in a interview that many of his don't really listen or even know about his solo music. He really experimented with new sounds and was struggling with depression and his identity during this part of his life.
He switched the Pronouns he used in his lyrics especially love songs to He/Him instead of writing it from a guy to a girl he wrote it from a guy to a guy pov. He really got screwed by his record label which hurt his career but that didn't stop him or force him to change and conform he is still to this day doing what he wants to do and I praise him all the more. His newest work is simply beautiful. He actually left his record label because they told him he looked to gay amd needed to change his apperance and this is a major record company. During the time he was working on the song Insatiable. Which if you look up some of his videos was maybe a year after he still had short black hair. He actually had stopped dying his hair and it was his natural blond and he grew it out a bit, it's horrendous how they treated him at the peak of his popularity. He would go on to end up funding alot of his own solo career with his own money.

Funny. A friend of mine signed a contract with his (and Savage Gardens) producer.
She ended up with one song released in Denmark that didn't go anywhere.
But it was so interesting, and tedious, to experience somebody working so very hard for their goal.
It's a lot harder work than you think.

Your mistake was assuming that the music would become boring when Darren Hayes went solo 😜. The more you venture into his solo music, the more you will realize that Darren Hayes IS Savage Garden. Daniel is a great musician and songwriter, but Darren's creative influence becomes even more apparent throughout his solo albums ☺️
