The house is quite far from BKC. Travelling time is almost around 1 hr 30 mins to 2 hrs and more during peak hours. Try finding a house in western line

Aap hi socho ek jagah agar 25000 mein unko unmaintained 1 RK mil raha tha that too in a building probably older than her, toh ek dusri jagah itne kam rates hone ka kuch toh reason hoga na. I stay in North Mumbai's suburb which is far from South Bombay or the areas that have most workplaces aur yahan bhi on an average 22-25k dena padta hai for a small (400 sqft) 1 bhk in a decent livable society. The point of my rant is, logon ko jhuthi umeed mat do that this place is cheaper than Delhi when it's not.

@@dakshbulchandani travelling daily can be hectic from dombivali to parle or churchgate for a newbie.You will have to travel by local durning peak hours sometime and that can be challenging at start but once you get the hang of it then maybe it can get easier. My college was also in vile parle and i had classmates who were coming from vasai, virar and mira road. Many times they used to complain about the travel and sometimes miss class also due to this. Specially durning monsoon season. So i would suggest get a hostel or PG as near your college as possible.for atleast the first six months or one year. In mumbai there are many hostels and PG’s that are closer to college so try to find one that fits your budget. Once you get used to the lifestyle then maybe you can move to different place.
