Actually Haechan was injured while filming this and that's why you can't see him dancing in the MV and the only scenes where you can see him is where he's sitting in a chair😥

Oh, I notice at the dance practice at a certain part there were 3 members at the back (the part where Jeff said very contemporary), but there were only 2 people on the MV, I was wondering who was missing.

Y'all know why I love Jeff? He appreciates everything! I hate comparing but I swear he is the 1st one who likes (and even called the choreography beautiful) the idea of like several groups dancing to different choreos! I really love watching reaction videos and I swear, of all the reactors i have watched, he is the first one to love this choreo!

I noticed now that you haven't reacted to Superhuman yet, and thinking about it, I didn't have seen a lot of suggestions for this one, so I'll do, please react do Superhuman, this song is amazing, my favorite 127 title track and MV, this song got me into NCT and I have so much love for this.

Superhuman is my favorite as well, it’s like NCT 127 was made into a song, it fits their style, music, dance and styling wise, so well!

it’s a shame though it’s probably my favorite choreo of theirs but sm used really horrible camera angles and movement so the dance really feels disconnected :/

in the dance practice, the move was no longer there because jaehyun and taeyong fans had a fight, saying sm is careless for making taeyong stepped on him, risking jaehyun to have injury. therefore they stopped doing it now. the fans also told the same thing about mark stepping on taeyong in kick it but the boy reassured that hes fine :(
"What is with the abs in this?" You should watch them perform this live in Japan, Taeyong is wearing a crop top! Also the behind the scenes of their dance practice Jaehyun & Taeyong fully lift their shirts on camera. They thought it was gonna get edited out, but surprise!

I really love how you appreciate Wakey Wakey, people always saying it is a mess choreo but Imo it is so unique and mess in beautiful way. Btw Taeil adlibs right before 2nd chorus are so beautiful and impressive, definitely my favorite parts from the whole song

in case you’re curious, the coreographer is rino nakasone, she is japanese and also choreographed other SM artists. And as far as I know she only works with SM artists so far

The choreo to this song is just as odd yet beautiful as the song and its concept and that's why I love it so much :')

Jeff concluded it well. This is why NCT 127 is top tier... always different, always unique. Even their choreos speaks this identity. They never conform to standards. Hard pill to swallow though. That's why I always think people who appreciate them are those who truly value artistic performances.

the choreography is by rino nakasone, and she's really good at having people do different steps to form one image! one of my favorites from her is shinee's your number. i think this is her first work with 127 so it's definitely really different from their usual style.

I love how you say you wouldn’t have expected this from nct 127 when this is one of the most ‘nct’ sounding songs - it fits their concept perfectly. Also this came out just after haechan recovered from fracturing his shin which is why he’s sitting down a lot in the mv
To be honest, me as a non dancer seeing wakey wakey for the first time was like, what??? I mean i got confused by the "mixed" choreo, but then once i got the pattern of their choreo i was blown away, srsly i was sooo amazed, like yo dude whoever the choregrapher is genius!!

jeff, i see you're very into doyoung's tone! i totally recommend giving nct u's yestoday a listen, there IS a music video but it's mostly the scenery and close-up sequences of the members which means no choreography to react to, but doyoung is in charge of the chorus and i think he did a fantastic job. he sounded so vulnerable, sad and nostalgic, all at the same time, especially on the last chorus when he goes "sorry that i walked away." if you're ever in the mood to get emotional, that's THE song!

One of my fave dance practices to watch, mainly because this was when HAECHAN was back from his hiatus, missed him, his vocals, his dance ^^. And of course, if it's NCT, it's all WOOOOOOW!!!

I feel like especially for SM they really go hard on Japanese releases. A lot of their artists get promoted there and have had great success, but I do know that Japanese idols don't usually focus that much on dance either (yet, who knows) so I sometimes wonder if they go extra hard for that reason too. NCT 127's singles have been really intense for sure, with this one and Chain like damn.

Glad for this reaction to Wakey Wakey, one of my favorite 127 songs. Apart from the amazing choreo i just love how the syllables roll out their tongues as they sing it such that, even if i don't understand most of the lyrics, it still sounds like heaven to my ears. This is one of my fav pieces bc it’s so weird. And Rino Nakusone choreographed it, who I LOVE. Also Haechan wasn’t dancing in the MV if you noticed, he had an ankle injury.
FYI, the choreographer is our queen rino nakasone. she called shinee as her kids, and nct 127 as her grandkids lol. she's a LONG time choreographer for SM. she directed NCT 127's Neo City tour, SuperM's tour, Taemin's tour and many of shinee's ofc
127's japanese singles somehow managed to be more "noise" (all of the place, but in a good way) than their korean singles lol. Rino also choreographed their other jpn single "Chain" that is also unique. You should check it out
FYI, if you want abs, you should check the live version because Taeyong is wearing crop tops haha
the stepping on Jaehyun's leg was removed later on by SM, since fans were hating on it and saying that it is not safe and it will only hurt Jaehyun. but the fact is, Taeyong always doing the hardest choreo, yet their company goes blind
