regarding taeil's centre part move... i feel like it's important to point out that compared to other members he's just really small hfbdjd that's why moves like this one might not look as big when he does them. you can also notice how more difficult for him it is to move around during choreography he basically has to fly from one spot to another
My only problem with the sicko mode performance is that there are no videos with actual good camera work cause the KCON camera work was honestly horrible
I’m so impressed that they could do this great coreography and MV even they’ve been on a tiring double comeback sequence, one followed by the other, and this just shows how our guys are hardworking and that Nct do NEVER disappoints
After watching so many of their dance practices I can recognize some of their individual styles without seeing their faces. From my observation... Taeyong: expressive, precise movements, tends to "drunkenly" fall into the next step, dances with every part of his body - including his head. Mark: swaggy, crazy legs, heavy hip-hop influence. Haechan: Mr. Smooth, Michael Jackson. Yuta: quick, clean, concise, efficient, keeps movements closer to the body. Johnny: you'd think his long limbs would make him look lanky on stage but he's found a way to look cohesive with the group. Exudes "Swaggy, sexy dude." Jaehyun: cool guy, confident, nice extensions with attention to small details like fingers and wrist movements. Doyoung: Body rolls. Jungwoo: underrated dancer - he's really good. He's graceful but can make sharp movements on a dime, has great angles. Taeil: It's too bad that we don't see too much of his dancing. He's a good dancer though I think he he's holding back a bit. Maybe more center time will pull him out of his shell :).
I just wanna say thank you for appreciating the dance break so much in the dance practice. Yuta really killed it being the center and I feel like his dancing skills needs more recognition. But yeah the music video didn't give justice to the dance break at all

I think there are some Nct127 songs that click immediately, and some grow on you. Punch is the perfect example of the kind of song that would grow on you and then you're just around the house like "heyyyyy we ballin"

I'm kinda glad you noticed MARK's dancing. He's also a Main Dancer of both NCT DREAM and NCT 127. His dancing isn't just that much appreciated(noticed) bc of his rapping skills. People tend to focus on his rapping and forget that he's a main dancer.
For me I didn't loooved it at first but now I can't stop listening to it, it definitely grew on me! Along with nonstop and make your day (my fave), the 3 songs are amazing! Obsessed and also we need to thank punch for those outfits and Taeyong's whispers
Honestly, I didn't get it at first, but was intrigued - picked up more on the second listen, fell in love on my forth. It was one of the most memorable uncoverings of the song I remember 😊
So the second half of the choreo is better than the first most likely because they said in an interview that they learned that part of it first. And normally the parts you learn first, you have more time to perfect and piece together as you learn the rest of the choreo. Also, I think this style really suits Mark because he shined a lot in this choreo and I think this shows that he's improved a lot as a dancer.
personally, i didn't like this song the first time i watched the mv and found it odd and forgettable. however, as i've heard it more and more, it's definitely grown on me. i think part of why it was off-putting and forgettable to me (and probably other people too) is that the song structure is different from most of kpop title tracks, so my brain doesn't quite know what to do with it, when the progression of the song isn't what i'm used to and it won't stick in my mind as easily because it's new to me. but as i get used to the different structure and the whispering, i'm definitely starting to appreciate that nct is always willing to try new things. it's NEO culture technology, after all! the production of the song is, as usual, that impeccably slick sm sound that i love. and the styling of this era is outstanding - i nearly gasped when i first saw taeyong in this mv.
My first impression towards this MV was "Kick It is better than this,i cant remember any lyrics".But after that i rewatched it again and started to vibe with it.I get it if there's some dont prefer this song.Its getting catchy when you listen to it again and again.Its like Itzy's Wannabe song situation.

NCT127 even claim that the actual main course is after the dance break (verse 3) Anyway if you like their choreo on the 3rd verse, you might want to check their song Limitless. They don't have any dance practice but they have 3 different MV for that song (1 rough version, 1 performance version, 1 japanese version) and all of the MVs has different charms.

regarding taeil's centre part move... i feel like it's important to point out that compared to other members he's just really small hfbdjd that's why moves like this one might not look as big when he does them. you can also notice how more difficult for him it is to move around during choreography he basically has to fly from one spot to another

My only problem with the sicko mode performance is that there are no videos with actual good camera work cause the KCON camera work was honestly horrible
I’m so impressed that they could do this great coreography and MV even they’ve been on a tiring double comeback sequence, one followed by the other, and this just shows how our guys are hardworking and that Nct do NEVER disappoints

After watching so many of their dance practices I can recognize some of their individual styles without seeing their faces. From my observation...
Taeyong: expressive, precise movements, tends to "drunkenly" fall into the next step, dances with every part of his body - including his head.
Mark: swaggy, crazy legs, heavy hip-hop influence.
Haechan: Mr. Smooth, Michael Jackson.
Yuta: quick, clean, concise, efficient, keeps movements closer to the body.
Johnny: you'd think his long limbs would make him look lanky on stage but he's found a way to look cohesive with the group. Exudes "Swaggy, sexy dude."
Jaehyun: cool guy, confident, nice extensions with attention to small details like fingers and wrist movements.
Doyoung: Body rolls.
Jungwoo: underrated dancer - he's really good. He's graceful but can make sharp movements on a dime, has great angles.
Taeil: It's too bad that we don't see too much of his dancing. He's a good dancer though I think he he's holding back a bit. Maybe more center time will pull him out of his shell :).
I just wanna say thank you for appreciating the dance break so much in the dance practice. Yuta really killed it being the center and I feel like his dancing skills needs more recognition. But yeah the music video didn't give justice to the dance break at all

I'm kinda glad you noticed MARK's dancing. He's also a Main Dancer of both NCT DREAM and NCT 127. His dancing isn't just that much appreciated(noticed) bc of his rapping skills. People tend to focus on his rapping and forget that he's a main dancer.
For me I didn't loooved it at first but now I can't stop listening to it, it definitely grew on me! Along with nonstop and make your day (my fave), the 3 songs are amazing! Obsessed and also we need to thank punch for those outfits and Taeyong's whispers

Honestly, I didn't get it at first, but was intrigued - picked up more on the second listen, fell in love on my forth. It was one of the most memorable uncoverings of the song I remember 😊

So the second half of the choreo is better than the first most likely because they said in an interview that they learned that part of it first. And normally the parts you learn first, you have more time to perfect and piece together as you learn the rest of the choreo. Also, I think this style really suits Mark because he shined a lot in this choreo and I think this shows that he's improved a lot as a dancer.
personally, i didn't like this song the first time i watched the mv and found it odd and forgettable. however, as i've heard it more and more, it's definitely grown on me. i think part of why it was off-putting and forgettable to me (and probably other people too) is that the song structure is different from most of kpop title tracks, so my brain doesn't quite know what to do with it, when the progression of the song isn't what i'm used to and it won't stick in my mind as easily because it's new to me. but as i get used to the different structure and the whispering, i'm definitely starting to appreciate that nct is always willing to try new things. it's NEO culture technology, after all! the production of the song is, as usual, that impeccably slick sm sound that i love. and the styling of this era is outstanding - i nearly gasped when i first saw taeyong in this mv.

Anyway if you like their choreo on the 3rd verse, you might want to check their song Limitless. They don't have any dance practice but they have 3 different MV for that song (1 rough version, 1 performance version, 1 japanese version) and all of the MVs has different charms.

Also, Punch is very an NCT sounding music. I saw someone reviewed this song (musical aspect) and she was very shocked and loved it at first listen. It's not ur ordinary kpop song, the breakdown of the song is not common either. It's so industrial and very ahead of its time.
